Achievement
 +
In Season 7 Act 01, The Challenge Tab has been replaced and later integrated into the Achievements, where every time you complete an achievement, your Total Achievement Level Points increase. When they reach 100%, your level will be increased and you'll get a reward:
 +
* Character Growth: Leveling up classes, Adventurer Fame, doing Community-related content, or increasing Professions.
 +
* Normal Dungeon: Clearing Normal Dungeons.
 +
* Advanced Dungeon: Clearing Advanced Dungeons.
 +
* Legion/Raid Dungeon: Clearing Legion & Raid Dungeons.
 +
* Adventure: Upgrading your characters' equipment through Reinforcement & Amplification.
 +
* Challenge: Explorer Club Challenges that unlocks cosmetic-based rewards through previous Season 5–6 content, NPC Friendships, and Character creation.
 +
 +
Note: By doing these, you can unlock various rewards by doing the corresponding dungeon content, but keep in mind that if there is a <span style="color:Red">This achievement cannot be completed at the moment.</span> notice, this means that the content involved was removed.<br>

Expedition
+
Expedition (Obsolete)
<!--
+
Expeditions allow for selected characters to automatically run chosen regions from a given list for a chosen set time period. Upon returning from the Expedition, the player is rewarded with a set number of Glory Crystals depending on the number of matched character attributes and the amount of time spent during the Expedition.
Expedition runs allow for a character automatically "run" dungeons in a chosen region from a given list for a chosen set period. These time periods vary depending on location chosen.
+
* Explorable dungeons are unlocked depending on your Explorer Club level.
* Mercenary runs do not consume fatigue, but your character is able to enter dungeons like normal. Your character also does not gain any clearing exp/gold while doing the runs.
+
* You can create an Expedition Party with the characters whose properties (attributes) match the target's dungeon's.
* The areas to which you can dispatch your Mercenaries are gradually unlocked as your Explorer Club Level increases.
+
* Dispatch Expedition Parties, and they will return with Glory Crystal rewards after a set time period.
* Mercenaries can be dispatched to only one area at a time.
+
** Characters, upon joining an Expedition Party, activate their properties that match the target dungeon's. The more properties that are activated, the greater the reward.
* Each dungeon requires a different Level, Mercenary Points, and dispatch period.
+
** Time periods range from 6h/12h/18h/24h. The longer the time period, the larger the reward.
* All characters that meet a dungeon's Level requirement can be dispatched to that dungeon.
+
* Click a Property icon in the Dungeon Info screen, and your characters of the same property will be automatically sorted and displayed.
* Characters dispatched as a mercenary can be played in dungeons.
+
* You can use the Auto Party settings to automatically create an Expedition Party with suitable characters.
* Your Mercenary Points are affected by your Mercenaries' equipment grades and Avatar Set effects.
+
* As of Season 6, Act 06. Sirocco the Intangible, expeditions are no longer available and have been replaced with Arad Adventure.
* Your reward increases if the total points of your Mercenaries dispatched to a dungeon exceeds its point requirement.
+
Conditions and Rewards
* When your Mercenaries return, you can select one of them to receive the dispatch reward.

Arad Adventure
 +
Following up on the removal of Expeditions, Arad Adventure is the newest additional content for DFO's Explorer Club that looks to take inspiration from The Tower of Despair Challenge event.
 +

 +
World Dungeons
 +
* In the Adventure tab, there are two different Worlds to choose from, such as Grand Flores or Mount Thunderime that contains four dungeons consisting of a total of 50 levels. When you clear all the levels in that specific world, you can move on to the next dungeon composition.
 +
* World Dungeons have only two difficulties, being Normal & Challenge.
 +
* Each World will have its own Combat Power requirement alongside 3 different randomized Properties, while optional, can provide different bonuses and rewards depending on the party's setup that resets once a day during the 9:00 UTC time.
 +

 +
* Limited Dungeon is the third world option that acts like a daily dungeon which selects an Area from the two worlds and rewards Adventure Tokens and Adventure Merc Recruit Tickets upon clearing once a day. There are only five difficulties to choose, requiring its own minimum amount of Combat Power with higher rewards going from:

Party Formation
 +
* There are 3 different tabs when making preparations to enter World Dungeons, being Characters, Mercenaries or Presets:
 +
**The Characters tab are basically the ones that you've currently created.
 +
**The Merc tab are Mercenary characters that were recruited.
 +
**The Presets tab allows you to save characters and form them into a 4-man Party by default.
 +

 +
Type & Positions
 +
* There are three different character positions that have their own strengths and weaknesses during a dungeon run:
 +
** <font color="Red">Single</font> sports higher Attack with low HP, can fight foremost Monsters first.
 +
** <font color="Blue">AoE</font> sports average Attack and HP, able to do AoE attacks.
 +
** <font color="Green">Support</font> sports higher HP with low Attack, can fight rear Monsters first.
 +

 +
Property & Position Buffs
 +
* When forming parties members before entering combat, there is the possibility of obtaining Party Synergy effects by meeting certain conditions that'll not only increase Combat Power, but also receive at least one or two buffs in the process.

Upgrade Ability
The Arad Explorer Club system grants special bonuses to players who have multiple characters on their account.  The bonuses include boosted stats, bonus dungeon clear experience, access to support characters and mercenary runs. Arad Explorer Club Level increases according to the number of characters at Level 40 or above. Arad Explorer Club Level affects additional benefits for your characters. Characters reaching level 50 can be used as Supporters via the Supporter System. Players can access the Mercenaries tab when at least one of their characters reaches level 70.

* This tab allows your characters to be upgraded by spending Skill Points from leveling up the Explorer Club on increasing their HP | Evasion Rate | Critical Chance | Attack Speed stats during Expeditions. These can be changed or reset at any time for free of charge.
 +

 +
Manage Characters
 +
* In this tab, you can manage your own created characters or summoned Mercenaries by giving them EXP Capsules for leveling them up or forming preset parties during the World Dungeons or Adventure Subjugation.
 +
* Tip: Your characters' Combat Power increases depending on their gearing progress during in-game content.

Adventure Subjugation
 +
The Arad Adventurer Subjugation is a minigame that was introduced in the February 2021 Exile Mountains update, with one focused on The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection, The Exile Mountains would be implemented during a June 2021 Aeterna update, and most recently, Noblesse Code got added within May 2023's The Archmage's Hall of Dimensions update.
 +

 +
You can only select one Area to play, as this will lock out the other two for an entire week until the Tuesday reset. When selecting an Area, there are a total of seven dungeons for either The Oculus, Exiles or Noblesse Subjugation as six of them are based on their respective dungeon areas, along with the seventh one belonging to the final bosses; Prophet Ezra, Devastar and Queen Destroyer.

Mercenaries
*Characters who reach level 70 can be registered as Mercenaries and have the option to do Mercenary Runs.

*Mercenary runs allow for a character 70+ automatically "run" dungeons in a chosen region from a given list for a chosen set period. These time periods can span from 2h, 6h, 12h, 1d, 7d, 14d. Note: These runs can be cancelled early.

**As of now, the list of regions include:

***Level 70: Antwer Canyon, Oceanic Express, Interdimensional Rift

***Level 80: Time Gate

***Level 85: Power Station, Time Gate - Requiem

***Level 86: Castle of the Dead

*Mercenary runs do not consume fatigue, but your character is unable to enter dungeons/towers/arena/altar, fight system, faction war, or war zone while performing them. Your character also does not gain any clearing exp/gold while doing the runs.

*Usually, the longer the run, the higher chance of getting a reward/better reward. Note: Any run less than 1h will not receive a reward.

**Rewards could be the following:

***Mysterious Meteor

***Demon Invitation

***Demon Challenge

***Region related Meteor (Black, Blue, Glowing, Burning)

***Region related Material drop (Heavenly Pearls, Fused Cubes, Magtonium, Etc.)

***Region related Monster Cards of any Quality

***Region related equipment (Magic Seal, Chronicle, Boss Unique)

 +
Battle System
 +
* Eight characters, that mainly consists of a party of four, can enter up to two dungeons at the same time. If entering the Boss dungeon, all eight characters are required.
 +
* Each dungeon will have at least three randomized Dungeon Properties and Combat Power required to enter as these can affect your Subjugation rank and rewards, depending on which characters wields said-properties, while the final boss dungeon has five of them. Dungeon Property changes once a day during the daily reset time.
 +
* The time period begins with 12 hours on regular dungeons, while 24 hours is only for bosses.
 +
* When a Subjugation is cleared or stopped, the characters who participated are under a regroup time cooldown frame, which restricts them from re-entering. If the same character keeps running a Subjugation Dungeon, it'll keep increasing.
 +
* Clicking on "End Battle" and leaving will cancel your current Subjugation battle places the characters who entered that dungeon into a regroup cooldown time frame, but can restart it with another party.
 +
* Subjugation battles can continue even if the game is closed, but will function on real-world hours to finish.
 +
* Tip: Time periods during Subjugation Dungeons can be halved if your game is opened.
 +
* Tip #2: The more hours accumulated, the larger the rank and rewards.

Former Bonuses
+
Max Rewards Count
 +
* You'll start off with a total of eight Entry Counts for the six dungeons and one for the final boss. Each time you clear a dungeon, that rewards count decreases by 1 each and cannot be entered again once all entries are depleted until the weekly reset on Tuesdays.
 +
* These won't decrease if you fail to clear or receive your rewards.

Supporters
+
Ranks
RemovedContent
+
* Obtaining a  Rank nets 7 rewards.
*Unlocked when a character hits level 50.
+
* Obtaining a  Rank nets 6 - 7 rewards.
*Characters who reach level 50 can be registered as Supporters for other characters.
+
* Obtaining a  Rank nets 5 - 6 rewards.
**Supporters can be summoned by a character within the same account regardless of its level.
+
* Obtaining a  Rank nets 3 - 5 rewards.

Using Supporters
+
Subjugation Rewards
*To start, select a character and the skill to register a Supporter.
+
* Depending on the rank, you'll receive a fixed amount of rewards upon succeeding each Subjugation. Except for Monster Cards, any rewards whether they be consumables or unopened items, do expire on the 1st of each month.
**It is ideal to pick a supporter with a skill that benefits the one being supported.
+
* Exclusive to the Oculus, encountering a hidden monster in the form of Soryun in her Apostle-Obsessed state on either Pilgrim Shelters B1-B3 generates a special reward upon defeat.
*While in a dungeon, pressing "Tab" will summon the selected character and performs the selected skill, disappearing afterwards.

**The hotkey for summoning can be changed.

**Any Clear Cube Fragment costs are consumed out of the inventory of the supported character, not the Supporter.

**Some places, such as areas in the Valley of Fallen Souls, will disable Supporters.

*Supporters go into a cooldown of 20 seconds. Skill cooldowns may exceed the Support cooldown.

**If at any point and time another player uses a Supporter while in a party, all supports for other members will be thrown into cooldown.

Elite Members
 +
Introduced within the Dark Dimension Update, Elite Members or Squad Mode is an Automated Player Character System that allows players to form a Squad of AI controlled characters from either their own roster or default ones (I.E Slayer, Fighter, Priest). As of Season 7, only Sirocco, Black Purgatory & Ozma Raid allows Squad Mode for Solo-only players, as both Dark Dimension alongside The Night of Revelation were removed from the Global Client.
 +

 +
Restrictions
 +
* Only characters at Level 100 - 110, and have reached their 2nd or Neo: Awakening can be used.
 +
* Only characters on the same server as your current character can be used. (I.E Cain or Sirocco)
 +
* Characters of the same class, including your current character, can't be used at the same time.
 +
* The Side Story characters (Dark Knight and Creator) can't be used as Elite Members.
 +

 +
Insignia
 +

 +
As of Season 7 Act 08. Codename: Gaebolg, the previous Insignia/Gem system that was originally obtained through running Guild Dungeons, have been removed in favor of merging both functions into a new Explorer Club Tab.
 +

 +
Instead of collecting those accessories individually, this new version of the Insignia/Gem system will now affect all of your characters in terms of Adventurer Fame, Damage Value, Buff Power and overall boost in Stats when running content. To begin upgrading, you'll first need to reach Level 110, then accumulate the required materials when gaining access to, and eventually clearing Codename: GAEBOLG while speaking to Meister Curio at the Culvert Bastion area.

  • The Explorer Club UI consists of the following tabs: Basic Info, Trait, Acheivement, Collection, Adventure, Shop, Weekly Info, Elite Members and Insignia.

  • Consecutive logins
  • Highest trained character
  • Total number of dungeons cleared (inc. Fiend War Raid, Prey-Isys Raid, Sirocco Raid)

In Season 7 Act 01, The Challenge Tab has been replaced and later integrated into the Achievements, where every time you complete an achievement, your Total Achievement Level Points increase. When they reach 100%, your level will be increased and you'll get a reward:

  • Character Growth: Leveling up classes, Adventurer Fame, doing Community-related content, or increasing Professions.
  • Normal Dungeon: Clearing Normal Dungeons.
  • Advanced Dungeon: Clearing Advanced Dungeons.
  • Legion/Raid Dungeon: Clearing Legion & Raid Dungeons.
  • Adventure: Upgrading your characters' equipment through Reinforcement & Amplification.
  • Challenge: Explorer Club Challenges that unlocks cosmetic-based rewards through previous Season 5–6 content, NPC Friendships, and Character creation.

Note: By doing these, you can unlock various rewards by doing the corresponding dungeon content, but keep in mind that if there is a This achievement cannot be completed at the moment. notice, this means that the content involved was removed.

Collection

The Collection Tab displays information about the character's attributes and Expertise (Honor) Level.

Character Attributes

Each character subclass has a set of 3 unique attributes which are used for the Arad Adventure function (and formerly for the Expedition function).

Expertise Levels

Expertise is a function that can be accessed once the character has reached the current level cap, and only serves as a cosmetic effect in front of the character's name. (Non-Advanced characters cannot have their Expertise Levels increased.)

The Expertise Tier goes as follows:

  • Challenger -> Expert -> Leader -> Guru -> Legend -> Hero -> Guide -> Savior

Total EXP required is calculated based on the standard linear multiplier. The data may have slight differences compared to the information presented in-game due to minor rounding variations.

Expedition (Obsolete)

Expeditions allow for selected characters to automatically run chosen regions from a given list for a chosen set time period. Upon returning from the Expedition, the player is rewarded with a set number of Glory Crystals depending on the number of matched character attributes and the amount of time spent during the Expedition.

  • Explorable dungeons are unlocked depending on your Explorer Club level.
  • You can create an Expedition Party with the characters whose properties (attributes) match the target's dungeon's.
  • Dispatch Expedition Parties, and they will return with Glory Crystal rewards after a set time period.
    • Characters, upon joining an Expedition Party, activate their properties that match the target dungeon's. The more properties that are activated, the greater the reward.
    • Time periods range from 6h/12h/18h/24h. The longer the time period, the larger the reward.
  • Click a Property icon in the Dungeon Info screen, and your characters of the same property will be automatically sorted and displayed.
  • You can use the Auto Party settings to automatically create an Expedition Party with suitable characters.
  • As of Season 6, Act 06. Sirocco the Intangible, expeditions are no longer available and have been replaced with Arad Adventure.

Arad Adventure

Following up on the removal of Expeditions, Arad Adventure is the newest additional content for DFO's Explorer Club that looks to take inspiration from The Tower of Despair Challenge event.

World Dungeons

  • In the Adventure tab, there are two different Worlds to choose from, such as Grand Flores or Mount Thunderime that contains four dungeons consisting of a total of 50 levels. When you clear all the levels in that specific world, you can move on to the next dungeon composition.
  • World Dungeons have only two difficulties, being Normal & Challenge.
  • Each World will have its own Combat Power requirement alongside 3 different randomized Properties, while optional, can provide different bonuses and rewards depending on the party's setup that resets once a day during the 9:00 UTC time.
  • Limited Dungeon is the third world option that acts like a daily dungeon which selects an Area from the two worlds and rewards Adventure Token.png Adventure Tokens and Adventure Merc Recruit Ticket.png Adventure Merc Recruit Tickets upon clearing once a day. There are only five difficulties to choose, requiring its own minimum amount of Combat Power with higher rewards going from:

    • The Merc tab are Mercenary characters that were recruited.
    • The Presets tab allows you to save characters and form them into a 4-man Party by default.

    • ExplorerClub AoERole.png AoE sports average Attack and HP, able to do AoE attacks.
    • ExplorerClub BufferRole.png Support sports higher HP with low Attack, can fight rear Monsters first.

Adventure Subjugation

The Arad Adventurer Subjugation is a minigame that was introduced in the February 2021 Exile Mountains update, with one focused on The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection, The Exile Mountains would be implemented during a June 2021 Aeterna update, and most recently, Noblesse Code got added within May 2023's The Archmage's Hall of Dimensions update.

Battle System

  • Eight characters, that mainly consists of a party of four, can enter up to two dungeons at the same time. If entering the Boss dungeon, all eight characters are required.
  • Each dungeon will have at least three randomized Dungeon Properties and Combat Power required to enter as these can affect your Subjugation rank and rewards, depending on which characters wields said-properties, while the final boss dungeon has five of them. Dungeon Property changes once a day during the daily reset time.
  • The time period begins with 12 hours on regular dungeons, while 24 hours is only for bosses.
  • When a Subjugation is cleared or stopped, the characters who participated are under a regroup time cooldown frame, which restricts them from re-entering. If the same character keeps running a Subjugation Dungeon, it'll keep increasing.
  • Clicking on "End Battle" and leaving will cancel your current Subjugation battle places the characters who entered that dungeon into a regroup cooldown time frame, but can restart it with another party.
  • Subjugation battles can continue even if the game is closed, but will function on real-world hours to finish.
  • Tip: Time periods during Subjugation Dungeons can be halved if your game is opened.
  • Tip #2: The more hours accumulated, the larger the rank and rewards.

Max Rewards Count

  • You'll start off with a total of eight Entry Counts for the six dungeons and one for the final boss. Each time you clear a dungeon, that rewards count decreases by 1 each and cannot be entered again once all entries are depleted until the weekly reset on Tuesdays.
  • These won't decrease if you fail to clear or receive your rewards.

Ranks

  • Obtaining a Arad Adventure S Rank.png Rank nets 7 rewards.
  • Obtaining a Arad Adventure A Rank.png Rank nets 6 - 7 rewards.
  • Obtaining a Arad Adventure B Rank.png Rank nets 5 - 6 rewards.
  • Obtaining a Arad Adventure C Rank.png Rank nets 3 - 5 rewards.

Elite Members

Introduced within the Dark Dimension Update, Elite Members or Squad Mode is an Automated Player Character System that allows players to form a Squad of AI controlled characters from either their own roster or default ones (I.E Slayer, Fighter, Priest). As of Season 7, only Sirocco, Black Purgatory & Ozma Raid allows Squad Mode for Solo-only players, as both Dark Dimension alongside The Night of Revelation were removed from the Global Client.

Restrictions

  • Only characters at Level 100 - 110, and have reached their 2nd or Neo: Awakening can be used.
  • Only characters on the same server as your current character can be used. (I.E Cain or Sirocco)
  • Characters of the same class, including your current character, can't be used at the same time.
  • The Side Story characters (Dark Knight and Creator) can't be used as Elite Members.

Insignia

A player's slightly upgraded Insignia.

As of Season 7 Act 08. Codename: Gaebolg, the previous Insignia/Gem system that was originally obtained through running Guild Dungeons, have been removed in favor of merging both functions into a new Explorer Club Tab.
