Titles

Titles are obtained in the game by several means such as through quests and participating in events (for example, the Trailblazer title could be gained from participating in Closed Beta). They are considered equipment items in the game and takes up the bottom right-most slot of the equipment portion of your inventory. Each title adds some sort of a bonus to the player's stats and may have additional effects as well, such as summoning a monster when hit.

They are untradable (with some exceptions) and can have varying qualities. For example, one person with the title of Beast Slayer equipped may gain 4 strength while someone else with the same title of a higher quality may gain 6 strength. What titles add to are predetermined, but the amount added is randomized with its numerical value within a certain range of numbers.

Tower of the Dead

These titles are formally obtained at the end of a very long questline in the Tower of the Dead. You can only get one or the other. Introduced in the Act XI patch, but altered in Season 2 Act I patch. Now obtained by Sharan's Feat quest.

Relationship Titles

These titles are obtained though maintaining a Trusted relationship with certain NPCs. These are created through Recipes that will be mailed to you. Currently not avaliable due to Season II Act I patch.

Mentorship

Additional Notes:

• Bonuses will apply automatically once the title owner dashes for the first time.
• If a player dies, the title owner must reequip the title and perform a dash to reapply the bonuses to the revived player.
• Bonuses last for the duration of the dungeon.
• The bonuses will stack if other players have this title.
• To make the quest "Dungeon Training" appear in Oran's quest list, you must clear a dungeon while in a Lv. 10 Alliance. Your mentor must be online in the same channel(?)
  • This quest can only be done once a day.

Awakening Titles

Bad Titles

These are "bad" titles, as they are only obtained by being blocked by a certain amount of people (at least 50 to start). These also have some negative effects on the character that they're on, such as warnings when trading or trying to party up with others, but nothing too serious. However, unlike other titles, these aren't associated as items.
