To Pandemonium at Last

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Prerequisite Epic Quest Icon.png Abandoned Becky
Briefing Isabella: "You've found a path to Pandemonium. I knew you could do it. Then let's go to Pandemonium! Finally, we'll be the first [ones] to set foot in that new world!"

Erica: "...Pandemonium is not uninhabited."

Dana Donatel: "We're ready. Adventurer, let's go."

Hunter Von: "Heh heh heh, I haven't been home for a long time."

Cyrus: "Are you guys also coming?"

Dana Donatel: "Of course. Is there a reason we shouldn't? Meryl will keep an eye on Luke. We want to help the Adventurer find clues to defeat Luke."

Azalea: "...Finally, we're going to Pandemonium. Shall we go, Adventurer?"
Objectives Go to Pandemonium and talk to Imperial Princess Isabella. (Use the elevator by Hunter Von.)
Upon Completion Isabella: "This is Pandemonium! It looks different from what I've imagined, but it's just as exotic. Wow, we're in Pandemonium! We really are!"

Frantic Beginning

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Isabella: "Where should we go from now [sic]? We have to find this person named Kate and find a clue to break the seal over Luke."

Azalea: "Summoner Kate is in a place called Central Park. It's-"

Hunter Von: "That way. We're near Time Square. We'll have to go that way for a long time-"

Azalea: "Oh, look at that cloud of dust.

Hunter Von: "They're Roccas, just like me. But... *Whine* They're thieves! The materials that Luke threw away here attract all kinds of people. They must think we're simple travelers. I don't think we can reason with them..."

Cyrus: "We won't let those lowlives lay a hand on Her Highness. Adventurer, let's go. Don't let any one of them run away."

Hunter Von: "Errr, th-they're my kind. Please go easy on them..."
Objectives Defeat the Roccas from Time Square who are coming to attack the Pandemonium Outpost.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon starting the dungeon:

Cyrus: "Nasty beasts!"

Rocca Mercenary: "What did you just call us, you bald freak? Guys, wipe them out!"

Upon clearing the first room:

Rocca Mercenary: "*Yip* Run!

Cyrus: "*Snort* Thieves don't deserve to live. You can't get away from me!"

Upon clearing room F1:
???: "Keeeenngggg!"

Cyrus: "What's this noise? It sounds like those beasts. Are they fighting each other? Good. Let them kill each other. It'll be one less problem for us. What? You want to go check the situation. *Snort* Do as you want. I'm going back."

Upon entering the boss room:
Tall Rocca: "Keeeek! Help!"

Gakle Hammer Wielder: "Grr... Grr! How dare you run amok in Luke's sanctum? I'll catch you and press oil out of you! Grr! What are you? Ah, you're the Adventurer who's been causing trouble in Luke's castle. Well-met! I'll punish you on Luke's behalf!"

Gakle Saw Wielder: "Krrk! Krrrkkkrr! For Luke! Die!"

Upon defeating the boss:

Tall Rocca: "*Yip* You helped us. Thank you!"
Upon Completion Hunter Von: "W-welcome Adventurer. What happened to my kin? Whoa, really? You saved them. Thank you so much! Huh? Luke's followers tried to kill them?!"

Little Witch Skuldi

Level 86
Quest Giver Hunter Von
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Hunter Von: "They must be Gakles. At first, they just lived on the junk that Luke threw away, but now they worship him like a god. I heard the rumors about them, but I didn't know they were still here. I've heard they can be pretty persistent. They will continue to pester you. We'd better leave before they come flocking to us. Actually, the Gakles were here before you came. We managed to chase them away, but who knows? They might come back."

Isabella: "Adventurer! I've heard you returned, and you were here. Have you met the Witch? Our soldiers went to chase Gakles away, and got chased away themselves by the Witch. Take care of her, will you? We'll have to move our camp in the daytime, and we can't let her see where we're going."

Hunter Von: "Gee, Adventurer, you barely got here, and you're already busy."
Objectives Go to Time Square and meet the witch that follows you.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering room C2:

Skuldi: "Whew, there you are! You came out of Luke's castle, didn't you? Did you really go and pester Luke? How could you do that to him? I don't understand you. You need to be taught a lesson!"

Upon defeating Skuldi in room C2:
Skuldi: "Err? Are you resisting me? How dare you? You betrayed and hassled Luke! Sister! I've got some traitors here!"

Upon entering room D2:
Skuldi: "Sisters! Sisters! *Shriek* Why are you following me? Shoo! Argh, sisters! Where the hell are you?! You're so stubborn! You harassed Luke. Are you trying to harass us Flameskin now? *Gasp* You are, aren't you? Sisters! This adventurer is a threat to us!"

Upon entering the Boss Room:
Elda: "Skuldi! Is that the traitor you told us about? Good job catching him, but why did you bring him here? I told you to signal us first. I can't believe you've brought an enemy to where the Life water is!"

Skuldi: "I called you, and you didn't come. Where's Verdil?"

Elda: "She went over there to find you. He's looking this way. What if he's trying to put out our fire?"

Skuldi: "Do you think so? Argh, I hate him! Bad adventurer! Let's get rid of him!"

<Player>: "...Something's wrong with these sisters."

Upon defeating the bosses:
Elda: "Ack, they're stronger than I thought. But I can't give up. We must get rid of everyone who interferes with Luke! Skuldi!"

Skuldi: "This isn't over. I'll punish you!"
Upon Completion Azalea: "Adventurer, you're back. Have you found the witch that the Princess mentioned?"

Good Witch Verdil

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Isabella: "Her younger sister wounded my soldiers, so she came to apologize. How kind of her, don't you think?"

Verdil: "I'm sorry that my sister attacked you. We Flameskin are indebted to Luke, and she only wanted to repay his kindness. And... I also came here to tell you that anyone who interferes with Luke is not welcomed here. Please go back to where you're from. You'll be welcomed if Luke forgives you."

Isabella: "You're mistaken. I don't know where you heard that, but we've never interfered with Luke. Luke let us take a tour around the Castle of the Dead. It was wonderful."

Verdil: "...Really? But Luke's messenger said you were his enemies.

Isabella: "That's not true. He's probably mistaken too. If we really interfered with Luke, why would he let us leave his castle alive?"

Verdil: "...Oh... So... Are you friends with Luke?"

Isabella: "Of course! Do you see the Rocca fox over there? We've saved him from danger, and that's why Luke invited us over to his castle. Isn't that right, Von?"

Hunter Von: "Huh? Err... Ah... Yes, sure... *Whine*"

Verdil: "I see. Whew, what were we thinking? Of course, no one can interfere with Luke! I'd better go let my sisters know. Adventurer, would you like to come with me and talk to my sisters? I want to clarify this misunderstanding and make them apologize to you."

Isabella: "Ah, that's great. Adventurer, please take her home safely and have them apologize. (...And while you're at it, find out who Luke's messenger is. I have a feeling he's going to be a problem.)"
Objectives Tag along with Verdil to meet the other two the Nornil sisters.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:

Verdil: "Where are they? You knocked the stuffing out of them. They're probably looking for me by now."

Upon entering the Boss Room:

Sharon: "Verdil. You're here."

Verdil: "Sharon..."

Sharon: "Gragol wants to see you."

Verdil: "Um... Can he wait?"

Sharon: "Are you going to defy Gragol?"

Verdil: "No, I want to clarify something with my sisters..."

Sharon: "That's not my business! Come over here, now!"

Upon defeating the boss:
Sharon: "What are you? Why are you getting in my way? ...Hmpf, Verdil. You've been busy flirting with strangers, I see. You've got a bodyguard now. I'm going to tell on you to Gragol!"

Verdil: "No! Sharon!
Upon Completion Verdil: "Oh gosh, Sharon's going to talk ill of you to Gragol. He's the strongest warrior in this place. He can make your life miserable if he has a mind. I'd better go to him. Adventurer, take your friends and leave as soon as you can!"

Fox Marcella

Level 86
Quest Giver Dana Donatel
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Dana Donatel: "Oh, Adventurer. Did you get them to apologize? The others are moving the camp. I'm here to look around--huh? Someone dragged the girl away? It sounds like she's in danger. I'll tell the others. You should go help her. The new camp will be set up over there. Follow the lights when you're back."
Objectives Look for Verdil in the Valley of the Half-breeds.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:

Kisa: "Strangers! Strangers! They've got good stuff! Let's get rid of them and take their stuff!"

Upon entering room D2:
Marcella: "Hm, I wondered what this commotion was, and it's these hairless creatures running amok. I hate noise. Guys, get rid of them for me."

Upon entering room E2:
Marcella: "You beat all my fans. You're pretty strong. What brings you here? Sharon? Oh, you mean that tomboy. Why? Do you think she's prettier than I am? Verdil? Yes, there's a girl by that name. Sharon doesn't like her. So, you came to rescue her, huh? How kind of you! I'm sorry, but you can't have her. She's my boss's favorite. Leave when I ask nicely, or... get ready for a good beating!"

Upon defeating all enemies in room E2:
Marcella: "Aww... My head is swimming... You're so rough. Alright, you won. I'll tell you what you want. Our law dictates that we submit to the stronger. Our boss Gragol is in there. Of course, Sharon's there, too. Is Verdil safe? I can't say. I'd go find out myself if I were you."

Upon entering the boss room:
Verdil: "Ah, Adventurer."

Gragol: "You're the rascal who's been raising hell on my turf. Marcella, I can't believe you let him in."

Marcella: "I had to. He beat me. That's our law."

Gragol: "Hmpf, you foxes are worthless. Anyway, who are you? An adventurer? You came to take Verdil with you. You're not going anywhere with my future wife!"

Verdil: "P-please, Gragol, I told you I can't marry you--"

Sharon: "..."

Gragol: "Gosh, you're so shy! I know you're still young, but every Half-breed wants our union, and you know it'll be good for your sisters, too."

Verdil: "Excuse me, Gragol, I'm done tending your wounds. May I go back now? I've made a promise with that adventurer."

Gragol: "Verdil, Verdil. You're such a good girl. All the Flameskin are blessed by Luke, but none of them is as kind as you are. Alright, Adventurer. You can take her with you. I can't ignore her when she begs. But there's one condition. You've disturbed the peace of my turf. It'll reflect badly on me if I let you go peacefully. Sharon."

Sharon: "Yes, sir!"
Upon Completion Sharon: "D-damn it, I can't accept this! I want a do-over!"

Gragol: "Sharon, accept your defeat before I completely lose faith in you. You can't beat him. You're still too weak."

Sharon: "..."

Gragol: "Adventurer, take Verdil with you. She's my bride. Take good care of her."

Verdil's Gratitude

Level 86
Quest Giver Verdil
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Verdil: "Mm... Thank you, Adventurer, for fighting [on] my behalf, even though we've just met. Marriage? Oh no, I've never thought about it. I don't know why Gragol likes me. I'm not special. And he knows Sharon has a crush on him... Can we not talk about this? I'm too embarrassed. Let's go find my sisters. I really want to clarify the misunderstanding between us."
Objectives Take Verdil to her sisters in Time Square.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:
Skuldi: "Ah, Verdil! Verdil!"
Upon Completion Skuldi: "Verdil! Where have you been? Why are you with that adventurer?"

Still Wary

Level 86
Quest Giver Skuldi
Briefing Skuldi: "Verdil, do you believe him? Can't you see he's lying just to avoid suspicion?"

Verdil: "But he helped me. He's kind. Why would he lie? Plus, you can't judge him purely based on what he said."

<Player>: (Who is he?)

Skuldi: "What, does this mean you don't believe him? We're only alive and healthy because Luke gave us the Life Water, and he's working for Luke. How could you--"

Elda: "Skuldi, stop. We shouldn't fight each other. Verdil, I understand you want to trust this adventurer because he helped you, but you ought to know thieves don't say they're thieves."

Verdil: "But... Why would anyone want to wish ill on Luke? He's brought light back to this world. When I first went to see this adventurer and his friends, the thought came across my mind that they might be mistaken. Maybe they wanted to help Luke, and something went wrong along the way. That's possible, isn't it? Everyone makes mistakes."

Elda: "...Say anything you want, but Skuldi and I are not ready to trust them completely. Even so, Adventurer, you helped Verdil. I won't ask you any questions this time. But if I find out you did interfere with Luke and lied about it to us, then even Verdil won't be able to stop me from making you pay."
Objectives Return to the camp and relay what you experienced.
Upon Completion Dana Donatel: "Welcome back. It's been a while since you left, so I was about to go out and look for you. You did well. Now you should get some rest."

Anxious Azealea

Level 86
Quest Giver Azalea
Briefing Azalea: "Adventurer, you're back. It feels like ages since I saw you last time. You're not hurt, are you? I've had so much trouble on my mind lately that I didn't pay enough attention to you. I'm so happy to see you again. ...I don't know. Do I look anxious to you? I wonder why. We're finally in Pandemonium. Maybe I'm just not sure if we could persuade Apostle Luke. I can't tell you, but then I'm always worried about the future. Adventurer, you and I are on the same path right now, but we might have to go our separate ways someday. If that ever happens, I hope we'll be looking in the same direction. ...Oh, I'm sorry. I must be tired--I'm never this sentimental. No, don't worry about me. The Princess is looking for you. You should go."

Discovery of Terranite

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Isabella: "This is called terranite. I've heard it possesses a great power. I have no idea what kind of power it might be, but I've heard it's supposed to be awesome. Cyrus. Have you thought about what we should do with this?"

Cyrus: "I think you should do whatever it is you want to do with it, Your Highness. I'm sure you'll make good use of it."

Isabella: "Hmpf, but I have no idea how to use it. I wish Sir Walshuted was here. He would've given me good advice. Gosh, where in the world is he? Oh well, Father will know what to do with it. I'm going to gather as much terranite as I can and send it to Father. Adventurer, help us. I want to sort out the best pieces of terranite, but I don't know which ones are better than the others. You can tell, can't you?"
Objectives Collect 10 Large Terranites from Time Square.
Upon Completion Hunter Von: "Adventurer... Mm, Adventurer? That terranite... Are you gathering it for the Princess? *Whine* Oh, no... Ugh, I don't know how to say this... *Whine* Terranite is a hazardous material. Its effects are detrimental to the body, especially for those with a poor constitution. But that's not my main concern. As dangerous as it is, terranite makes a powerful weapon. What if the Empire...? What if the Empire likes the terranite the Princess sent to it and comes to Pandemonium for more? Meryl said things are getting hairy in Empyrean because of the Imperial Army stationed in there. Things would be worse for Pandemonium since it's not as organized as Empyrean. Its people are too busy making ends meet every day, so national defense isn't really on their minds.

Hiding from the Empire

Level 86
Quest Giver Hunter Von
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Hunter Von: "Every piece of terranite you've gathered is big and powerful. You're better than anyone else I know when it comes to detecting strange energies around you. The soldiers can't go too far away from here, leaving their Princess unprotected. Could you look for more pieces of terranite? Please."
Objectives Collect 10 Large Terranites and 20 Terranite Fragments from Time Square.
Upon Completion Dana Donatel: "You've brought them. Good job. We've collected some terranite pieces too. We'll hide the bigger ones. Take these small pieces to the Princess."

Terranite for the Empire

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Briefing Isabella: "Ah, you've brought them. Could you pile them here?"

Cyrus: "Hm... Adventurer, you're not as good at this as I thought. These are worse than the ones our soldiers have gathered."

Isabella: "Don't feel so bad about that. If treasures are easy to find, then they're not treasures. Even an adventurer like you can't be perfect. We have many people gathering it at the same time, and we already have enough to send to Father. I made him worried by coming to Pandemonium. Seeing this, he'll know I'm safe."
Objectives Go to Dana and tell her about the terranite collection.
Upon Completion Dana Donatel: "I've hidden the bigger terranite in there when the Imperial Soldiers didn't look. Do you see it? I hope they won't find it."

Captured Imperial Soldiers

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Isabella: "By the way, there's really nothing to see in Pandemonium. I wish I was in my garden, drinking a chilled cocktail..."

Cyrus: "This is why I didn't want you to come."

Isabella: "Ugh, don't start again. Alright, alright. I'm a little bit tired of this place, but that doesn't mean I really want to go back. So hush."

Imperial Guard: "Your Highness, our terranite transport unit has been attacked!"

Cyrus: "What?"

Imperial Guard: "They were attacked by a giant tiger. Most members of the unit were taken, and only a few have returned."

Cyrus: "That giant tiger has to be the Gragol that you've run into, Adventurer. Your Highness, I will go pay him a visit."

Isabella: "What? No, Cyrus, you can't leave me. Sir Walshuted is not here to protect me in your stead. Adventurer, you can do this alone, can't you? Those Half-breeds must think they can walk all over us. Go teach them a lesson."

Return of the Foxes

Level 86
Quest Giver Tall Rocca
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Tall Rocca: "*Yip* Adventurer, please don't attack us! We're not enemies! We don't want to fight you! We've been only keeping an eye on these soldiers for Gragol! Don't you remember us? Well, I guess it's true that hairless creatures like you have a hard time telling us Half-breeds apart. *Yip* We're the Roccas you saved from the Gakles. We steal for a living because there's nothing else we can do without getting killed by Gragol, but we have our pride. Look, as you can see, we didn't touch even the hair on their tails."

Chubby Rocca: "But they don't have tails."

Tall Rocca: "Mm... Then... hair on their legs! We didn't touch the hair on their legs! *Giggle* Anyway, Gragol took your terranite. He's greedy. He wants terranite to take over this area. Also, he wants those little witches for their magic powers. Once he's done with them, he'll get rid of them without batting an eye. He will do anything to become the king of Pandemonium. Where did he take the terranite to, you ask? Go in there. His henchmen are guarding it."
Objectives Go to the Valley of the Half-breeds to find terranite.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering room C3:

Elda: "Terranite... I hate it... Please, get it away from me... Err... Verdil... Skuldi... Where are you...? Have you seen my sisters? Verdil disappeared. Skuldi and I came here to find her. And the Half-breeds threw terranite at us. We couldn't move. Please, I beg you. Find my sisters. We Flameskin can't move when we're surrounded by so much terranite. At this rate, we'll..."

Upon entering the boss room:
Skuldi: "Ugh... Sister... Sister... Elda!"

Elda: "Skuldi! You're safe! Oh, I'm glad. When we got separated because of the Half-breeds, I thought I'd never see you again."

Skuldi: "Elda, there's too much terranite around us. We can't find Verdil while we're separated."

Elda: "...You're right. This is a special situation. Luke will understand that we had to use our power."

Secret of the Sisters

Level 86
Quest Giver Norn
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Norn: "You look surprised. I'm one of the Flameskin who have been reborn by Luke, and I'm the strongest of them all. Well, I'm not perfect. Unlike Nornils of previous generations, my power has been split into three sisters, and without Verdil, I don't have my full power at this moment. Adventurer, do you know the danger of that mineral, terranite? Unlike you strangers, everyone who lives in Metro Center knows it. Verdil went off to stop you when she heard you and your party were moving terranite. She trusted you. She thought you wouldn't do something so dangerous. So, let me ask you: did you really not know how dangerous terranite was?"

<Player>: "..."

Norn: "If you feel sorry, then find Verdil and tell her the truth. You'll do it if you really care about her."
Objectives Look for Verdil in the Valley of the Half-breeds.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Sharon: "What are you doing here? I was just joking. You're looking for Verdil, right? She's with Gragol, and I'm here to guard the door. ...I can't say I like doing this, but I can't disobey Gragol. Now, bring it on!"

Upon defeating the boss:
Fire Cat Sharon: "Bah, I knew this would happen. Just kill me. I lost to you twice. Gragol would never trust me again. That's worse than death. I'd rather die now and be remembered for my bravery than live in misery."

Booted Marcella: "Sigh, you're being stubborn again."

Fire Cat Sharon: "Marcella!?"
Upon Completion Sharon: "Marcella? You coward, you ran away before the fight even began. What brought you back?"

Marcella: "I came because I knew you'd be acting stubborn like this. Snap out of it. Gragol is using you Flameskin. What do you like so much about him, anyway? I understand Gragol is the second-most important figure to you Flameskin, after Luke, but that's--"

Sharon: "You don't know what you're talking about. Stop talking, or I'll kill you, Marcella."

Marcella: "*Sigh* You can try. I really don't want to fight you, but I will if you don't stop protecting him."

Sharon: "...?"

Marcella: "You know, many Half-breeds were killed and wounded in the process of stealing the terranite from the strangers, and Gragol didn't care about them. He only wanted us to catch the Nornils for him. Everyone's angry at him. We've put up with him because he's stronger, but enough is enough."

Rebellion of Half-breeds

Level 86
Quest Giver Sharon
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Sharon: "Oh, no... Are you really going to defy Gragol?"

Marcella: "My friends and I are persuading the others. The Roccas, who have never been on good terms with him, are happy to help us. Sharon, I want to save you. Gragol isn't worth your admiration. You deserve--"

Sharon: "Shut up! I told you not to lecture me. I'm not going to listen to you--you're a traitor! I'm going to Gragol, Marcella. I'm going to tell him what you're up to!"

Marcella: "Sharon! ...Sigh, she's impossible. The Flameskin can be pretty stubborn, but... You. Should I call you Adventurer? Sharon has gone to Gragol. Gragol must be with Verdil. I have something really urgent to handle, so I can't follow Sharon. I could use your help. I saw you gather terranite. If you have remorse for what you did to the Nornils, then help me stop Gragol from turning Verdil into a weapon."

Undying Fire

Level 86
Quest Giver Gragol
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Gragol: "Hush! What's going on?"

Sharon: "Marcella, the Roccas, and some others are going to attack you!"

Gragol: "They're small potatoes. Leave them. I'll kill a few of them, and the rest will cower. I have a more urgent matter at hand."

<Player>: "Verdil...?"

Verdil: "...Ugh..."

Sharon: "Gragol, what's wrong with Verdil? Did you kill her?"

Gragol: "Why would I do that? She's more useful alive than dead. She's just poisoned by terranite. *Snort* Foolish girl, she thought she could take on so much terranite by herself. Even the strongest Half-breed can't do it. She's only Flameskin, and not even a complete Nornil at that. But things have turned out to go in my favor. I was going to poison her slowly, and if I did that, I would've wasted my time!"

Sharon: "...Gragol? Verdil..."

Gragol: "She poisoned herself, and this is a perfect opportunity to move on with my plan. The other sisters have also been poisoned, and I expect they've turned into Norn by now, to escape from the pain. I'll give her back to them, and they'll turn into the complete Nornil. Hm, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I can't just waste it. Sharon, where's the spring from Luke that releases your life water? Take me there."

Sharon: "...That's the sanctum for us Flameskin... Oh, yes, sir."
Objectives Follow Gragol and Sharon who have abducted Verdil.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering room B3:

Handsome Rocca: "*Yip* Don't attack me! I'm one of the Roccas that you helped! I'm not going to fight you! By the way, what's this? Who buried such potent terranite in here? Those with a weak constitution won't be able to get near it. *Yip* Verdil? You mean that kind Flameskin? Gragol took her with him a while ago. Why? *Yip* So Verdil tried to move this terranite you'd buried in here, but couldn't handle its noxious influence. Alright, I got it. You keep following Gragol and save Verdil. I'll bring my friends. *Yip*"

Upon entering room D2:
Sharon: "...Does this mean it wasn't Luke who gave Flameskin the Life Water?"

Upon entering the boss room:
Verdil: "Hot... so hot! But why? I drank Luke's Life Water..."

Gragol: "Do you still think what you drank is Life Water? Mwa hah hah! Geez, you're stupider than I thought, but that was good for my plan."

(The player approaches Gragol.)

Gragol: "Stop interfering with me! My weapon is about to be completed! What did I do to Verdil, you ask? Nothing. I only took her to the Life Water that these girls think is so sacred. Luke gave this to the Flameskin when they were abandoned by the others of Pandemonium and on the brink of extinction. Hah hah hah! They didn't know the water that they thought extended their lives was actually dosed with terranite! The Flameskin are dying young because they've been drinking this Life Water!"

Verdil: "Hot... Hot... Elda... Skuldi... Help me...!"

Gragol: "*Chuckle* Verdil, do you want to live? Then find your sisters, and become Nornil. Come on, go find your sisters!"

Fated Norn: "Verdil, are you all right?"

Verdil: "...I'm hot... I'm burning..."

Fated Norn: "Please hang on. We're the children of the World Tree. Once we become one, these flames won't be a problem anymore."
Upon Completion Nornil: "Hot... Hot! Why? Why do I still feel hot?"

Gragol: "As a Flameskin, your life relies on the flames that burn inside your bodies. Nornil, you may be special, but you're still just Flameskin. If you thought becoming Nornil would change anything, then well, you're mistaken. Nope, it doesn't. All the Flameskin--especially you Nornils--are poisoned by the terranite in the water you've been drinking every day, thanking Luke for giving it to you. Hah hah hah!"

Deranged Nornil and Gragol's Madness

Level 86
Quest Giver Gragol
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Gragol: "Luke didn't give you that water! It's poison, dosed with terranite! I gave you the water when you were on the run and exhausted! It was I, Gragol! While you were barely conscious, I showed you Luke's illusion and you believed it was real. Mwa hah hah! I've never seen anyone so stupid!"

Nornil: "Hot... So hot! The fire in my body is burning me alive! Put it out! Put it out!"

Gragol: "*Chuckle* Nornil, Nornil. You foolish woman. Do you want to get rid of the fire? That's impossible. You've ingested too much terranite already. But there's a way you can live. Release the fire! Release the fire that is so hot, it can melt rock. It's the only way you can survive! Yes. Marcella has defied me. I'll let you burn her. Anyone who defies me shall die! Nornil, do you hear my voice? Do you hear the voice of the true savior of Flameskin? I'll save you once again. Burn the Valley of the Half-breeds! Hah hah hah. Yes, follow my commands, Nornil. You're the Miraculous Flameskin. I'll use you to defeat the Apostle and become the king of Pandemonium! Mwa hah hah!"
Objectives Follow Nornil and Gragol to stop them.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:

Upon entering the boss room:

Tall Rocca: "Keeennnggg! This is too hot! What's wrong with Nornil? Why does Sharon look so distraught? Ah, Adventurer!"
Upon Completion Tall Rocca: "How did this happen? Nornil is going to burn down this place. All of Pandemonium will be set on fire! Sharon! Hey, snap out of it!"

Burning Valley of the Half-breeds

Level 86
Quest Giver Sharon
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Sharon: "Nornil... Nornil... We can't let that happen to her! We can't let anything--even Life Water or terranite--drive her mad! Nornil is the heart of Flameskin. She helps us plow through our harsh destiny. She connects the past with the present and illuminates the future. She's our guide! And yet look at what the stupid sisters have done to her! She's not Nornil--she's a witch burning in fire! Adventurer, you're strong. Stop Nornil, please! If she doesn't return to normal, there's no future for us Flameskin! Please, help us. Save Nornil!"

Tall Rocca: "*Yip* We'll help! We've always wanted to get out of the valley, but we've made friends with many of the Beastkin in there. We can't leave them to die! Adventurer, find Marcella. If anyone can stay sane in the middle of madness, then it's Marcella. She'll know how to stop Nornil. If we're lucky, we might be able to bring her back to normal! *Yip*"

Sharon: "Really? Do you really think so?"

Chubby Rocca: "Hey, are you sure?"

Tall Rocca: "Marcella said so. The three Nornil sisters have a unique power aside from the power of fire that all Flameskin are born with. Marcella knows more about it. Go find her! If Marcella dies, so will Nornil and everyone else!"

Sharon: "...Okay."
Objectives Find Marcella in the Valley of the Half-breeds.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Marcella: "Nornil? No, that can't be--it's too strange."

Sharon: "Nornil, stop!"

Upon defeating the boss:

Nornil: "Hot... I need something more to burn..."
Upon Completion Marcella: "Sharon? What happened?"

Sharon: "I don't know... Nornil started acting strangely all of a sudden... The Life Water wasn't life water. It was Gragol's..."

Marcella: "...This was what Gragol was up to. I knew something was off. I didn't want the three sisters to come here."

Sharon: "Marcella, you've been with Gragol for a long time. Can you tell us anything?"

Marcella: "What I know is that you Flameskin thought Luke was your savior. I didn't say anything because I thought you needed something to believe in. I was wrong."

How to Calm Nornil

Level 86
Quest Giver Marcella
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Marcella: "Where's Gragol? He wasn't with Nornil when I found her."

Sharon: "...I-I told him Marcella and the Roccas wanted to attack him. Maybe he went to strike them first."

Marcella: "...You said Nornil and Gragol were moving together, right? But we've found Nornil alone. I don't think he left her behind because he preferred to fight alone; I think he left her because he couldn't keep her under control. Gragol spent so much time and effort to create this weapon. If I were him, I would want to stay close and watch it burn things for me. Don't you agree? Sharon, chin up. Maybe it wasn't Luke who brought you Flameskin back to life. Maybe you've been jealous of Nornil because of her powers. But she's your proud Nornil! Don't let her die as Gragol's crazy puppet!"

Sharon: "What are you saying? What should we do? Are you talking about the World Tree? Nornil was born from the World Tree. The tree can bring her back to normal, can't it? Answer me, Marcella!"

Marcella: "...There's no time to talk. Sharon, meet with the other Flameskin and help us Half-breeds. We're not as tolerant to fire as you are. Help us evacuate. And Adventurer, you should come with me. Let's bring Nornil back to normal."
Objectives Follow Marcella.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:
Marcella: "Flameskin are pitiable children without an adult leader. Their parents died after giving them birth. They were the only family that they had as they grew up. You don't know how terrible it is to be bullied by others and have no grownups to protect you. Their extreme situation made them believe in legends, like the World Tree from which that they believe Nornil was born and the Life Water that they thought Luke gave them. All of them are make-believe, but they were the only things that Flameskin had for themselves, and Nornil having a unique power has cemented their belief. I didn't want to disappoint them, so I started telling other Half-breeds the legend of Nornil. The legend spread and gave Flameskin hope. But... I don't know if that was the right thing to do. They can't see the truth and refuse to wake up from their dreams. Should I let them stay in their dreams if that's what they want? I don't know..."
Upon Completion Marcella: "...I also was poisoned by terranite once. I would've died, but some random mage saw me and gave me an antidote. Ah, I've found it. Whew."

Save Nornil

Level 86
Quest Giver Marcella
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds
Briefing Marcella: "There's something both Nornil and Sharon don't understand. Nornil doesn't feel hot because of the fire in her. Excessive heat is just a symptom of terranite poisoning. We have to catch Nornil and give her this antidote. Once she realizes that she doesn't have to burn things to feel better, [she'll] stop her rampage. The antidote isn't enough to completely cure her, but it'll improve her condition, though it's only temporary. Now, this is what I want you to do. Lure Nornil outside the valley and keep her busy. I'll feed her the antidote."
Objectives Find Nornil and lure her outside the Valley of the Half-breeds.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:

Marcella: "I think I've heard the sound of Gragol laughing from a distance. I'll give you the antidote, just in case."

Upon entering room C1:
Marcella: "Gragol...!"

Gragol: "Marcella. You're hiding in here. I'm surprised you haven't been burned to death."

Marcella: "Gragol, I'm disappointed in you. You've fooled those innocent little girls and created this mess. Why, are you not happy with what you've got?"

Gragol: "What about you? You spread the exaggerated legend of Flameskin, old fox. You're no better than me."

Marcella: "I admit that I hid the truth from them, but at least I didn't burn down the valley. Or abuse those girls."

Gragol: "Mwa hah hah! Good for you, Marcella. You told the truth to that adventurer, didn't you? Then did you tell him this, too? You were the one who suggested that I should give the Flameskin the Life Water. You've orchestrated this mess!"

Marcella: "... I'm sorry, Adventurer. I didn't tell you everything. Please don't ask me questions--I'll tell you everything later. We have to save Nornil first."

Upon clearing room C1:
Marcella: "Whew, you're as strong as I thought. Adventurer, go save Nornil!"

Gragol: "You're not afraid of me, are you? Whelps like you can't stop me!"

Marcella: "Well, I'd rather fight you than be burned alive. Adventurer, go. Go save Nornil!"

Upon entering the boss room:
Nornil: "Hot... It's hot! My body won't stop burning!"

Upon defeating the boss:
Transcendent Nornil: "Aww... Luke... Help me..."

<Player>: (She drank the antidote, but she hasn't gotten better.)
Upon Completion Tall Rocca: "Kknngg! Argh, my tail is on fire!"

Chubby Rocca: "Maybe that's a sign, that you should cut it off and start a new life."

Tall Rocca: "Knnggg! What good would cutting my tail off do to me?"

Chubby Rocca: "You'll look different at least."

Tall Rocca: "Forget it! Kknngg! Knngg? Oh, Adventurer! Nornil! Finally I've found you! Knngg!"

Chubby Rocca: "Erm, is Nornil... dead? Ah, she's just passed out. That's a relief. But if she wakes up, you really might have to cut off your tail. How'd you like to cut it off now and get it over with?"

Tall Rocca: "Are you trying to make money off my tail? You cut off your own tail! Geez, knngg! Adventurer, when do you think Nornil will wake up? She'll go on the rampage again. Shouldn't we just run? You fed her some medicine, and it didn't work. Maybe terranite poisoning is hard to cure. I've heard Marcella once went through hell because of terranite. Her condition must not have been as serious as Nornil is now. Unless a miracle happens... Knngg. I see. Even Marcella can't help."

I don't know how long Marcella and the other Roccas can last, [or] if Nornil will come to her senses before this is over... ... *Yip* Okay. We'll make sure to move Nornil someplace safe. Bring her to us."

Chubby Rocca: "*Yip* Are you sure?"

Tall Rocca: "We saw their parents die from mining terranite day and night, but we didn't do anything. I'm not going to let these girls die."

Chubby Rocca: "That was because they were Flameskin. We hated the Flameskin before Marcella suggested we should raise young Flameskin as our own. *Yip*"

Tall Rocca: "Yes, but we don't anymore!"

Chubby Rocca: "*Yip* I agree. We should help if we can. Captain, if Nornil wakes up you'll make sure we can get away safely, right?"

Gragol and Nornil

Level 86
Quest Giver Azalea
Dungeon Valley of the Half-breeds

???: "Kyaaaaahhh!"

Handsome Rocca: "What was that noise?"

Tall Rocca: "The Kisas. Gragol must be doing something to them. *Whine*"

Nornil: "..."

Azalea: "Are you awake? Please, you can't move just yet. Please close your eyes."

Nornil: "No... I have to go fight..."

Chubby Rocca: "N-Nornil!"

Azalea: "Oh gods, I didn't think she's strong enough to move yet. Are all Flameskin so strong? Or is it just Nornil?"

Tall Rocca: "Nornil was born from the World Tree. That's why she can resist terranite. *Yip* Thank the gods! Marcella was right!"

Azalea: "The World Tree? There's no such thing... Adventurer, please follow her. She's not completely recovered. She needs your help."
Objectives Follow Nornil in the Valley of the Half-breeds.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering room B2:

Nornil: "Gragol, answer me. How did you know terranite is our ultimate weakness?"

Gragol: "*Chuckle* You want to know, don't you? I've been wanting to tell you. You came to save Marcella, when it's you who needed help. Yeah, yeah. You're Flameskin's pride and joy, Nornil. You have to repay her favor. By the way, Nornil--no, Elda. Verdil. Skuldi. You don't know how your parents died, do you? You probably don't remember. You think you were born from a tree that doesn't even exist."

Nornil: "Our parents...?"

Gragol: "Yes! You don't still believe that crap about being born from the World Tree, do you? That's because Marcella lied to you! Your parents died in pain, poisoned by terranite. Before they died, they went mad from the pain that burned their bodies. Why? Marcella, who hated Flameskin with a passion, made your parents collect terranite. They mined pure terranite day and night. They were bound to die from exhaustion, like Sharon's mother did, or go crazy. Mages, I've learned, call it the Transmutation, not poisoning."

Nornil: "..."

Gragol: "Are you still going to protect Marcella, even though you know the truth? She took care of you, but only because she felt guilty about killing your parents!"

Nornil: "Enough!"

Upon clearing room C1:
Gragol: "Ugh...!"

Nornil: "Ugh, I will finish you, Gragol... even if it kills me!"

Upon entering room C2:
Nornil: "Adventurer, there are unsolved issues between you and us. But now that we know what we've believed in is a lie, I have no reason to stay mad at you. So please, help me defeat Gragol. It's him or the rest of Pandemonium."

Upon entering the boss room:
Gragol: "Nornil, I apologize that I treated you like a tool. I thought I've lived long, but not long enough to see everything. You're much stronger than your parents, I get it. How'd you like to join me? We can split Pandemonium between us two. You can be the queens of the world. No one will dare call you mutants. What do you say? All right, you look like hell. I can nab a few mages for you, to cure you--"

Nornil: "You didn't stop experimenting on us Flameskin after my parents died, did you? You didn't stop until all the grownups died. You let the children survive on their own and desperately clutched onto that false legend for support."

Gragol: "...So what? What if I did? Maybe you're too young to realize this, but you had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm offering you half a world. Don't let your obsession with revenge ruin it."

Nornil: "My obsession with revenge? I'd rather be obsessed with revenge than with ambition, like you are. You killed so many people. It's time you pay for it."

Upon defeating the boss:

Time to Say Goodbye

Level 86
Quest Giver Sharon
Dungeon Time Square
Briefing Sharon: "We've been told we should be grateful that we were saved by Luke, and that Nornil is Flameskin's pride and joy. I've heard those stories [so] many times that I can recite them in my sleep, but they're all lies. Do you know what I hate the most? I bullied the Nornils because I didn't like that they were special. They were born from the World Tree, and I was not. I wanted to believe that was what set them apart from the rest of us. It turned out they're special, born from a tree or not. And the rest of us are just too ordinary to compete with them. Ah... I hate this. I don't know what to say to the others."

<Player>: "..."

Sharon: "*Sigh...* I know they're victims as much as the rest of us, but knowing that doesn't make me any happier. I have too much to think about. Marcella was involved in killing our parents and lied to us. Should we kill her? But we couldn't have survived for this long if it weren't for her. ...Bah, why am I telling this to a stranger? It has nothing to do with you. Just go. I'll take care of Nornil. ...Go. I've got too many things to think about."
Objectives Return to the Pandemonium Outpost and talk to Azalea.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Handsome Rocca: "Something smells so bad that my [nose] hurts. Did someone fart?"

Tall Rocca: "Oh, everyone's here."

Hungry Rocca: "I didn't fart. I haven't eaten anything. *Yip* My [nose] hurts too."

Tall Rocca: "Hey, be quiet."

Chubby Rocca: "Maybe it's me. I fell into the outhouse while searching it for money that Gragol might have hidden there..."

Handsome Rocca: "Keeeennnggg! Go wash yourself again!"
Upon Completion Upon speaking with Azalea in the Pandemonium Outpost:

Azalea: "I see. I'm glad you were there with them. The sisters have suffered severe magical transmutation, which could've killed ordinary Flameskin. I can't believe they've been able to move and even fight in that condition. Maybe there's truth in the legend of Nornil told among the Flameskin. Nornil really could be the savior and leader of her kind, even if she's lost her old looks. But I don't want her to be. Right now, she's just too weak, and she'll never be happy, being one. ...Oh, I hear a commotion coming from over there. Are they your friends? Why don't you go meet them before the Imperial Army gets suspicious?"

Upon clearing the dungeon after speaking with Azalea:
Tall Rocca: "Kknngg! Keep your voice down! It's overpowering mine! *Cough Cough* I inhaled too much smoke. It'll take a while before I get my voice back."

Hungry Rocca: "And your [tail] fur."

Tall Rocca: "Stop talking about my tail! Anyway, Adventurer. Woman over there. We came to thank you. We could've died if it weren't for you. Thank you for your help."

Azalea: "How are the sisters?"

Chubby Rocca: "Sharon and other Flameskin are taking care of them. They're still sick, but they'll live."

Tall Rocca: "By the way, you said your name is Azalea, right? Strange... There's no way we didn't know such a powerful mage. Which sect are you from?"

Azalea: "I'm not from Pandemonium. I came with these people."

Tall Rocca: "Oh, yeah? Interesting... Oh well, you say you're not from Pandemonium. I'll just have to believe you. Anyway, thank you for your help. Don't worry about the Flameskin. We'll take care of them. Oh right, Marcella asked me to tell you this: before you came, someone told her about you. She thinks he's the same person who talked ill of you to the Flameskin girls. His name was... Aslan. Marcella said he's yay big. His face? I don't know. Humans look the same to us Half-breeds. Knngg. Anyway, beware of him. Then we'd better leave now. I hope we'll meet again. But this place is challenging, even to the most seasoned warriors like you and me. I'm not talking about the smell of blood. It looks so disgusting, I'm afraid of breathing in the air, lest it might be contaminated with weird germs. We'll have to go through this place one way or another. Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Pipi: "Your Honor, I thought you were stronger than this. You're not exhausted already, are you?"

Panzer Hodor: "I am strong, but this is beyond my limits! Only a stupid mage like you would come into a lair of mutants without any preparation whatsoever! Gaaah! Err? Who's that? Do you think he's an enemy?"

Quest Giver Pipi
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Pipi: "You want to talk about this later and get out of here first? Not only did you come to my rescue, but you also want to see to my safe escape out of here. How kind of you! 'The girl has no one else but herself to rely on in the midst of enemies. Then a mysterious hero comes to her rescue, and he's strong on the outside as he is soft on the inside.' That's a decent story, if too cliche. Oh, don't be disappointed. I'm only saying it's cliche because everybody likes stories like that. Sometimes cliches make the best stories. You came here with someone else? They're really brave to be on their own in a place like this. Haven't you heard about this Chamber of Terror? Monsters here are not the run-of-the-mill. They're mutants. Make a mistake, and you could end up a mutant yourself. ...At least that's what I've heard. Actually, I don't know much about this place. If I did, I wouldn't be in that dangerous situation to begin with. If this is the first time your friend came in here, then he shouldn't be alone, no matter how good a fighter he is. Let's go find him."
Objectives Join Cyrus in the Chamber of Terror.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Hound Cyrus: "Who are you? You look different from the others."

Count Cantemir: "I'm Count Cantemir, the rightful ruler of this place. Kkhh... Kwah hah hah!"

Pipi: "Huh!?"
Upon Completion Pipi: "Huh? Wait, did you just say you're Count Cantemir? The Count Cantemir?"

Cantemir: "Yes, I'm Count Cantemir, a true researcher and seeker of knowledge."

Pipi: "...Oh my!"

Man in the Rumor

Level 86
Quest Giver Pipi
Briefing Pipi: "(Adventurer, if he really is Count Cantemir, then he's the Researcher of Immortality. Rumor has it he experimented on scores of his followers.)"

Cantemir: "I haven't had human--fresh, living--visitors for a long time. Aren't you afraid of the mutants in here? Why did you come here and disturb my peace?"

Pipi: "(...Stupid Leiyha, why did she have to come here?) Excuse me. Have you seen a girl named Leiyha? She's a brunette, about this tall. We will stop bothering you if you answer this question."

Cantemir: "No, I haven't. Now get off my property!"

Pipi: "..."

Cyrus: "You're a jerk. I want to slash you down, but I can't make Her Highness wait any longer. Let's leave."
Objectives Return to the Pandemonium Outpost.
Upon Completion Pipi: "This is where you stay? Some of these people look normal enough. Whew. I was worried all of your people might be as strange as that woman."

Cyrus: "Did you say something to me?"

Pipi: "Oh, n-nothing!"

Isabella: "Cyrus, Adventurer, you're back. It took you longer than I thought. And you brought someone I've never seen before."

Pipi: "My name is Pipi. I have a reason to be around here. I've heard you're trying to pass through this place. Is that right? I'll tell you what I know. Could you let me stay with you instead?"

Isabella: "Adventurer, what do you think? Oh, yes? If you're okay, then I'm okay too. By the way, what happened in there? Was this girl the reason it took you so long to come back?"

The Princess Steps In

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Isabella: "...Hm, Count Cantemir? I'd like to talk to him."

Cyrus: "No, you wouldn't."

Isabella: "Do you know anyone who can handle noblemen better than I can?"

Cyrus: "Do you believe him? Pandemonium is a cesspit. There's no king or nobility. Even if he's a count, you don't have to treat him with the respect that is reserved for the nobility of our country."

Pipi: "...?"

Isabella: "Cyrus, maybe you're right. Maybe he's not a count, but he believes himself a noble. He'll act like one. It's better that I go negotiate with him. Adventurer, show me the way. Cyrus will only let me go if you're with me."

Cyrus: "No need. I'll come with you."

Isabella: "Sure. The more, the merrier."

Pipi: "Excuse me, Adventurer. If you're going back to the Chamber of Terror, could you do me a favor? If you find a brunette, please bring her with you? Her name is Leiyha. Thank you."
Objectives Go back to the Chamber of Terror to meet Count Cantemir.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:
Isabella: "Wow, this place really is terrible. Cyrus, now I know why you didn't want me to come here. But I can't keep relying on others. That's not why Father let me come to this place. Adventurer. Cyrus. Let's soldier on."
Upon Completion Cantemir: "Bah, they're too weak. Too weak! They're too weak to partake in my revolutionary experiment. Alas! Will my long, painstaking research fail because of the inadequacy of the test subjects? Who's there? ...Ah, you're the rude human who visited my lab a while ago. Ah, I see. Last time you weren't here looking for a way out--you were here to spy on my research, weren't you? Gyuh, gyuh, gyuh! You thieves!"

Isabella: "Nice to meet you, Count Cantemir. My name is Isabella Catherine Heinrich De Los, the Third Princess of the De Los Empire. I'm visiting Pandemonium on a tour."

Cantemir: "Wh-what?"

Isabella: "My friends told me about you, so I came to introduce myself in person. I'm sorry that we've intruded your property. We're in such a hurry that it didn't cross our minds that we needed permission to cross your land."

Cantemir: "You're on a tour? You're not here to steal my research?"

Isabella: "Of course not. As I told you, we're in a hurry to get to our destination, and we forgot to check who owns this land. But enough of that. I didn't know you were a researcher. I'm not versed in academic fields. I apologize that I didn't recognize you earlier. I feel lucky that I've met someone as intellectual [as] you."

Cantemir: "...Oh."

Isabella: "I'd love to learn anything you can teach me, but I just don't have the time right now. Do you mind if I come back for your teachings later?"

Cantemir: "Gyuh, gyuh, gyuh. You want to learn from me? You know just what to say to please me. Bwa hah hah!"

The Count's Demand

Level 86
Quest Giver Cantemir
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Cantemir: "Alright, then are you going to do as I say? My assistants... They were traitors. They said they'd serve me for the rest of their lives, and then ran away."

Isabella: "Anything, anything at all."

Cantemir: "Good! Mwa hah hah! Then bring me fresh livers and hearts! I want them warm and still beating. With them, I can finally complete my research!"

Cyrus: "How dare you? She's the Princess of the Emp--"

Isabella: "Oh, sure thing. We'll bring them to you. Everyone, can we talk, in private? (...What's wrong with him? He's wackier than I thought! Geez, why didn't you tell me he's crazy?!)"

Cyrus: "(I told you, you shouldn't even be in this place. Let's get out of here.)"

Isabella: "(Ah, wait! I didn't say I give up!)"

Cantemir: "...Wait. You guys, do you have experience in handling research materials? I don't want you to ruin them."

Isabella: "...Oh, you're as shrewd as I thought. Actually, that's what we were discussing because we don't want to ruin your research."

Cantemir: "I knew it! I knew you were inexperienced! Gyuh, gyuh, gyuh! Then tell me what you can do best."

Isabella: "Mm... These two are really strong."

Cantemir: "Are you good at fighting? Alright, then go bring me Yazov. I'll take care of the rest."

Isabella: "If we bring him to you, then will you let us know how to get to Central Park?"

Cantemir: "Central Park? Is that where you're going? Sure. Hm, but make sure to bring him alive, got it?"

Isabella: "Sure, of course."

Cyrus: "Then Your Highness, please stay here with the Adventurer. I'll go."

Isabella: "What? But I want to--oh, Cyrus left already. She must be angry. Oh, well. Adventurer, we should go look for them too. I don't think I can stay here until she returns."
Objectives Search for Yazov with Imperial Princess Isabella.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:
Isabella: "Let's find that person named Yazov first. We'll explain the situation to him, and if he turns out to be a normal person, then we'll ask him to guide us. What do you think? Good. Let's find him before Cyrus comes to punish him."
Upon Completion Isabella: "I don't think there's a way out here. Let's go a little bit farther, and if we don't see an exit, then let's just go back to the count. By the way, this place stinks and the smell is getting worse the farther we go. Can we take a break? When I left Empyrean, I never thought I'd be one day looking for a way out in a strange place, alone with you. Life really takes unexpected turns sometimes. How do I like Pandemonium, you ask? I liked it at first, but I'm slowly realizing this is not a good place to live. So no, I don't like being in this place. There's no place to shop, and it's almost impossible to find clean water."

Princess Isabella's Story

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Isabella: "I don't regret coming here. I knew the Apostles were dangerous, but they were never part of my world, until recently. I came here because my father trusts me. I can't disappoint him. ...Well, this trip would've been a lot better if Sir Walshuted was here. *Chuckle* I might as well tell you that he was my first crush. I outgrew my infatuation with him a long time ago, but he still makes my heart flutter sometimes. Plus, he's a count, which makes him all the more attractive. If I was born a few years earlier, I would've begged my father to let me marry him. Then again, it probably wouldn't have worked. Sir Walshuted really loves his wife. They've been friends since childhood, so I probably wouldn't have been able to snatch him away from her. It breaks my heart that he lost her so early. He didn't tell anyone because he didn't want to distract his men during the campaign, but all along, he must have been dying on the inside. Heaven must have been jealous of their love, taking her away like that. Huh? Didn't you know? I thought you two were close. Oh, I shouldn't have told you. Actually, it's been a while. I think she passed away about that time you went up to Empyrean. Sir Walshuted probably didn't tell you because he didn't want to bother you with his personal life. Please don't tell him anything. He trusts you more than you think he does. Okay, we'd better start moving. I've noticed Dana at the Adventurer Guild doesn't trust me. I'm going to show her that I'm not here to be a burden."
Objectives Search for Yazov with Imperial Princess Isabella.
Upon Completion Isabella: "She doesn't look like she belongs here. I wonder who she is... Oh, can she be the Leiyha that girl Pipi is looking for?"

Domina Hailey: "I want to go home. I can't go home. I want to go back. I can't go back..."

Isabella: "Mm, something's wrong with her."

Domina Hailey: "Why am I here? I want to go back... I can't go back..."

Butler Yazov and the Mysterious Woman

Level 86
Quest Giver Yazov
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Yazov: "Hello, everyone. My name is Yazov, and I'm a butler to the lady in front of you. She's unwell, and she's left the house while I was away on an errand."

Isabella: "Oh, I see. Is she ill?"

Yazov: "No. She just needs time to recuperate. By the way, I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you visiting?"

Isabella: "Yes. We're heading for Central Park. We happened to have met someone named Count Cantemir, and he asked us to bring you to him."

Yazov: "You've met Count Cantemir? Don't believe what he says. Every rumor about this place is because of him. He's caused so much trouble to us long-standing residents of this place."

Isabella: "Then why don't you make him leave, or leave yourself? What's keeping you?"

Yazov: "This place is my second home. I can't abandon it. And I told him many times that he should quit his ridiculous research. He wouldn't listen. But everything's going to be okay. My mistress can easily take care of vermin like that old coot if she has a mind. The same goes for you. If you don't want trouble, then please do not disturb my mistress and leave. The order of this place--"

Domina Hailey: "...Mm... Who am I? Why...? Where am I?"

Yazov: "My Lady, your name is Domina Hailey. You're my mistress, and this is your domain. Are you feeling tired?"

Domina Hailey: "...to go back... I can't go back... Help... Blood... No... ...Hungry..."

Yazov: "My Lady, are you hungry? It's time you get your appetite back. Excuse me, gentlemen. My mistress needs to eat. Please leave. Don't worry about the way out. If you wait, I'll help you. Please tell that to Count Cantemir."
Objectives Return to Count Cantemir.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon defeating all enemies in room D4:

Cantemir: "Keh heh... Keh heh heh... Heart... blood... liver... marrow... Keh heh, keh heh heh!

Isabella: "...Geez, I really hate his voice. I really didn't want to see that guy again."

Upon entering the boss room:
Third Princess Isabella: "I'm back, Your Grace. I've found the man named Yazov, but he refused to come with me. However, he asked me to tell you that he'd help us in your behalf."

Count Cantemir: "Wh-what? You should've dragged him here! You broke your promise! This is unacceptable!"

Butler Yazov: "Don't be so angry."

Vampires

Level 86
Quest Giver Yazov
Briefing Yazov: "My Lady, their blood can be tasty, sure, but you can't drink from them just yet. You need weak blood. But don't worry. Soon you'll be able to digest strong blood. For now, you have to wait until you become healthy again."

Isabella: "...What the...?!"

Cyrus: "Your Highness, step aside!"

Isabella: "Wait. I don't think they want to let us go. Yet. What are you? Was it a lie when you said you'd tell us how to get out of here?"

Yazov: "No. I won't tarnish my mistress's honor by lying to her guests. As you said, the Mistress is not ready to drink your blood. Yet. Which is all the more reason for you to leave. She won't be able to stay away from you forever. I'll tell you how to get out of here. For now."

Cyrus: "Why would we believe you?"

Yazov: "It's your call to believe me or not. Just remember: you don't have much time left."

Isabella: "..."
Objectives Return to the Pandemonium Outpost and talk to Imperial Princess Isabella.
Upon Completion Isabella: "Adventurer, do you believe what Yazov said? I don't think he was lying, but we can't leave him alone. Don't you agree? He may let us go this time, but we might have to go through this place again, to return to the Castle of the Dead. His mistress may be weak now, but she'll get her full strength back. I say we should get rid of her while it's [relatively] easy--"

Anxious Pipi

Level 86
Quest Giver Dana Donatel
Briefing Dana Donatel: "...I see. I'm with you, Your Highness. I believe this is the first time you and I have agreed on the same thing, but it's vital that we secure a safe return route."

Azalea: "Based on what I've heard from you, those you and Your Highness met could be vampires, the originators of vampire magic, although they sound different from what I know about them."

Pipi: "Maybe they're victims of terranite transmutation, just like those mutants we've seen."

Dana Donatel: "Can we save them?"

Azalea: "They sound like their transmutation is already completed. Those three sisters were exceptionally resistant to terranite. The legend of their birth may have been a lie, but their power wasn't."

Cyrus: "I don't think that woman Domina Hailey is strong. She's unable to control the power inside her. That explains her feverish [state], and why she has to drink 'weak' blood. She can't hold down 'solid food', if you will."

Pipi: "...?! Wait, what did you say her name was? Domina Hailey? Did you say Hailey?"

Isabella: "I did. Why?"

Pipi: "O-oh, nothing. I'm sorry I interrupted you. You can continue..."

Dana Donatel: "So, in short, that couple has already undergone transmutation and cannot be saved, and they could pose a threat on our way back if we leave them alone. Adventurer, this means there's only one thing we can do. They may look like us, but they're dangerous monsters. I hope you'll make the right decision."

Pipi: "..."
Objectives Go to the anxious Pipi and ask what happened.
Upon Completion Pipi: "I've read about vampire magic before. I was curious how it worked. I quit it when I realized I didn't have a talent for it, but I've learned about vampire biology. People think vampires always crave blood, but that's not true. Once they find a perfect shelter, which is usually dark and cramped, they drink only a minimum amount of blood that they need for survival. Based on what you said, that man Yazov is close to the description of a normal vampire, and that woman Hailey... I think she's Leiyha."

Pipi's Determination

Level 86
Quest Giver Pipi
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Pipi: "Leiyha was terrible at magic. I tried to teach her as best as I could, but she could never get it right. I didn't care, though. I really loved her. I sneaked out of my house to play with her sister Rony all the time, and Leiyha treated me the same as she did Rony. I couldn't visit their house anymore because of the Wind Canyon. I didn't hear much news of them, but I wasn't worried--I knew we'd meet again someday. Then I heard a rumor that a maiden in their village on the other side of the Wind Canyon went missing. I was so worried that I crossed the Wind Canyon and went to Rony's. Rony already gave up on Leiyha by the time I got there. I haven't. I came all the way here to find her, and I would've been less shocked if I found her dead. ...But maybe I'm wrong. I'll only have to see her with my own eyes to know if she's Leiyha."
Objectives Go to Domina Hailey with Pipi.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the dungeon:

Pipi: "I said, you don't have to follow me. *Sigh* You're so nosy, aren't you? *Chuckle* But that's why everyone loves you. While I was resting in the tent, everyone I met told me great things about you, even though they don't know me well. I'm envious of you. So many people have faith in you. I wish my sisters back home trusted me as much as your friends trust you, and it's all my fault."

Upon entering the boss room:
Yazov: "That way is the exit. Please follow me."

Pipi: "I came to see Leiyha."

Yazov: "There is no person by that name here."

Pipi: "Stop playing games with me. You just mixed the letters in the name Leiyha to make the name Hailey!"

Yazov: "...The Mistress is resting. She's not in any condition to receive guests, let alone digest your blood. But I am. Drinking your blood will help me better serve my mistress."

Upon defeating the boss:
Butler Yazov: "Urgh... I've gotten rusty at fighting... For now, you're stronger than I am. But I'm not going to let you interfere with my mistress. She's not a weak vampire like me. She has [a] voracious appetite. She won't stop craving blood. Not until everyone in this place and everywhere else in Pandemonium has fallen asleep! On a silent night... The new order of the world will be established."

(Count Cantemir enters and stabs Butler Yazov.)

Count Cantemir: "Khh... Khh... I've found... research ingredients!"

Pipi: "A-Adventurer, he's too dangerous. We should avoid him for now."
Upon Completion Pipi: "How did this happen? It's so terrible... You said the Count was looking for research materials, right? Count Cantemir is also known as the Researcher of Immortality. If his magic power grew stronger after he was bitten by Leiyha, then he could've gotten close to succeeding in his research. But that would've cost many lives. Most of the mutants around here are probably his test subjects. *Sigh...* Do you think the Count would tell us how to turn his test subjects back to normal, if we ask? He wouldn't, would he? He couldn't even turn himself back..."

Kind Leiyha

Level 86
Quest Giver Pipi
Dungeon Chamber of Terror
Briefing Pipi: "What do we do about Leiyha--I mean, Domina Hailey? She can't be controlled either. If [left] alone, she'll eventually get out of here, looking for new prey. Am I not right? You don't have to answer me. That kind, brown-haired girl who was shy and terrible at magic would never come back... Hey, Adventurer. You don't have to look so serious. I can never stay depressed for too long. I'm more cheerful than Kate!"

<Player>: "Kate?"

Pipi: "Oh, do you know her? Well, it'd be strange not to--she's one of the most famous people in Pandemonium. She's transformed Central Park into the beautiful forest it is now. Huh? Oh, you're heading for Central Park. Maybe acts of Providence really do exist. Maybe I was meant to meet you. I don't believe in destiny, but I wouldn't mind having you as my soul mate. Oh, did you believe what I just said? Come on, you should know better than that. Even if you're my soul mate, I wouldn't fall for you that easily. Now, are you ready to go to Domina Hailey? Vampires are monsters, and I'm not going to go easy on her. I'll fight. I don't want to disappoint Kate. ...This has to be kept secret from Rony, though. ...I'm okay. I'm still hoping that she's not who I think she is. I'd rather be wrong and feel silly than be right and feel sad."
Objectives Find and eliminate Domina Hailey.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering room B1:

Cantemir: "Kkhh... Awww... Test... Test subjects..."

Pipi: "You're really..."

Upon clearing room B1:
Pipi: "It was because of people like you that this place was created and that my sister had to come all the way here. ... ...Oops, I didn't mean to take my anger out on you. This is embarrassing. Let's go find Domina Hailey before she kills again."

Upon entering the boss room:
Domina Hailey: "I smell blood..."

Pipi: "..."

Domina Hailey: "Yazov... They smell tantalizing... Can I have them? Yazov? Yazov..."

Pipi: "...Your so-called butler Yazov is dead."

Domina Hailey: "What? No. Yazov can't die. I drank his blood... He has to serve me..."

Pipi: "...I see. Yazov was so obsessed and loyal to you because you bit him. You're not even a real vampire, and yet you had the power to control real ones. I thought you were incapable of magic. What changed you?"

Domina Hailey: "Hungry... I want to drink your blood... No one can stop me now, right?"

Pipi: "..."

Upon defeating the boss:

Domina Hailey: "Hungry... I'm so hungry! I want to go home... I can't go home..."
Upon Completion Pipi: "Poor girl. She must have left her house when she realized she was turning. I can't even imagine how terrified she must have been, knowing she's turning into a monster. Objectives Go to Azalea and meet with her guest.
Upon Completion Skuldi: "Ah, there he is!"

Elda: "Hey, Adventurer. I can see Pandemonium has been good to you. I'm still grateful for what you did for us back then. After I recovered, I was told that you had headed out this way. I came as soon as I could. No sane man comes to the Chamber of Terror of his own accord. I understand you were just passing through, but did you really have to come here? Us? We're fine. Verdil can't move around freely yet, but she's okay. So are the other Half-breeds and Flameskin. Sharon is still acting awkward toward us, and Marcella... She's okay. By the way, did something happen? I heard a commotion. A woman turned into a monster? Tell us more about it. Actually, we came here to tell you something. ...I see. Then..."

Skuldi: "Yes, I think she was that strange woman we saw. Before we met you, we saw this woman walking in the desert by herself. She looked like she was sick, and she didn't want us to get near her. I knew something was wrong with her. She kept saying she wanted to go home, but couldn't. She kept contradicting herself. She said she was heading for the Chamber of Terror. I thought she was crazy."

Elda: "I'm sorry for her. She probably suffered from terranite poisoning like we did. How do I know? She came to the Valley of the Half-breeds several [times] to sell terranite. We were lucky that we got help before it was too late and that we were strong enough to endure the poisoning for so long. Otherwise, we could've ended up as monsters like her. That's what Gragol wanted."

Azalea: "You still have to be careful. Don't strain yourselves."

Skuldi: "Don't worry. We're Transcendent Nornil. We're not completely cured, but one day we will--we'll transcend our limits and become stronger than you, Adventurer."

Elda: "That's right. Come back to Time Square when you have time. I want a match with you. You'll be surprised to know what I can do. We'd better go back now. The Roccas wanted us back soon. Without Gragol, the Roccas are the king of the valley. Now that the cat's gone, the mice are playing."

Adventurer, if what you heard is right, then Aslan is an enemy of Kate's and he's abducted Pipi to use her as leverage. Now we have one more reason to get to Central Park as quickly as possible. But, as Pipi said before, past the Chamber of Terror is the Wind Canyon. Even she didn't know how long it would take to go around it."

Hunter Von: "Adventurer, while you were in the Chamber of Terror, I've gathered some information. A twister has turned into the big Wind Canyon, and it's suspected that some mages are responsible for its creation. When the wind calms down, which is very rare, the shadow of a big snake can be seen, threatening anyone who gets close. *Whine* Some people believe the snake is the mythical Valgur. There was no windy canyon before I left Pandemonium. Things have changed so much in the last few years. *Whine*"

Dana Donatel: "Going around it will take too long. Pipi said she came through the Wind Canyon. There has to be a way we can do the same. Let's get close to the canyon first."
Objectives Check the Wind Canyon.
Dungeon Dialogue If player is a Swift Master:

Looking for a Path

Level 86
Quest Giver Dana Donatel
Dungeon Wind Canyon
Briefing Dana Donatel: "It'll be difficult to access the center of the canyon, where the air current is at its strongest, but it's tolerable at the edges. There are even some monsters that have adapted to the windy weather. By the way, Adventurer, have you seen any monsters that move under the sand? Some monsters might have created tunnels underground to avoid the wind, and I'm hoping we can use them."

Laura: "Suparna, I've got them!"

Suparna: "Ho? You're better than I thought, worm. Alright, let's see."

Upon defeating the boss:
Suparna: "This one stings. It'll give me enough energy to lay strong eggs... But I don't want to dirty my feathers anymore. Valgur, my servant. Show these vermin what they get for displeasing your mistress!"

Geas

Level 86
Quest Giver Laura
Dungeon Wind Canyon
Briefing Laura: "I'm a nomad. A weretiger named Gragol burned down my village and pillaged our food. I was running with others from my village, when we got caught up in a twister and landed here. And everyone else... They were fed to Suparna. I'm sorry I lied. But I had no choice. I didn't want to die. I know you hate me, but not everyone is as strong as you. I did what I had to do to survive. ...By the way, how did you stop Valgur? Valgur does everything Suparna says. Oh, what's that shining thing? ...A bell? I don't know much about magic, but it looks like it's enchanted with special magic. It could be what stopped Valgur. Its light is weakening. Is it losing its magic? What do we go? ...Oh, other Garudas can cast geas, just like Suparna. They're her children, so it's in the family. Maybe we can use their feathers to revive the bell's power. I remember hearing about it from a friend who is a mage. Let's try it."
Objectives Collect Garuda Rider Feathers.
Upon Completion Laura: "We've got the feathers. Now we can use them to imbue the bell with their mana. Could you show me the bell? This must be the Bell of Obedience that my mage friend told me about. There was this girl who came to visit my village sometimes. I wish I could use magic as well as she did... *Sigh...* Ah, we don't have time to waste. Let's awaken the bell with the feathers' mana."

Not Enough Mana

Level 86
Quest Giver Laura
Dungeon Wind Canyon
Briefing Laura: "The bell's light has grown stronger, but not as strong as it was in the beginning. Even then, it was only strong enough to stop Valgur. We need it to be stronger than that. All Garudas are Suparna's offspring, but some of them are stronger than the others. Their feathers will fill the bell's mana more quickly. Hurry! We don't have time. Can't you hear that rumbling sound? Suparna is sending Valgur after us. We have to fill up the bell before he catches up to us!"
Objectives Find strong Garudas and fill up the bell with mana.
Upon Completion Laura: "The Garudas I saw this time were really scary. Thank the gods, you came. I'm sorry. I should've told you the truth and asked for your help in the first place. By the way, how's the Bell? Is it filled with mana? Oh no, its light is still dim. What do we do? What do we do? Valgur will be released from the Spell of Obedience and come after us. Reliable Comrades

Level 86
Quest Giver Isabella
Dungeon Wind Canyon
Briefing Isabella: "Adventurer! Adventurer! Ah, Adventurer, you're here! I've been looking for you! I wasn't worried about your safety. Something bad almost happened to the rest of us. We were looking for tunneling monsters like Dana suggested, when something pulled Von into the ground--Mm, who's this girl? You're meeting new girls almost every day since you arrived in Pandemonium. What happened? ...Hm. Maybe Pipi was able to cross the Wind Canyon because of that bell. We'll help fill the bell with mana."

Cyrus: "That Garuda named Suparna is carrying Valgur with her. You should leave, Your Highness. I can do this on my own."

Isabella: "What if they catch me on my way back, Cyrus? Don't you think I'll be safer with you? And if push comes to shove, I can always use my martial art skills."

Cyrus: "Yes, you can, but..."

Isabella: "Then what are you worried about? Adventurer, you can move faster than any of us. Leave her with us and go fill the bell with mana. Don't worry about coming back. Taking control of Valgur is your priority, got it?"
Objectives Find more strong Garudas to fill up the bell with mana, and collect their feathers.
Upon Completion Isabella: "Oh, you did it. I'm glad... Ugh... Oh, I got hurt a little bit when a monster jumped out of the sand. Who knew there'd be enemies under my feet?"

Cyrus: "...Bah, here come more stinky birds. Their queen Suparna must want you so badly, Adventurer. Her Highness is not safe with you. Go do what you have to do. Report back when you're done."
Objectives Use the Bell of Obedience on Valgur and defeat Suparna.

Objectives Go to Valgur.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Laura: "KYAAAAAAAAAK! Help!"

Upon clearing the boss room:
Laura: "I knew you'd come for me. You're my savior. I knew you'd be here!"

<Player>: "..."

Laura: "Adventurer. My savior... I have a favor to ask of you. You're so strong, I have no doubt that you can get through this squall without difficulty. I'm wondering... could you let me have the Bell of Obedience? As you can see, I'm not strong enough to fight. I can't get out of here alive unless I ride Valgur, so please?"

Azalea: "We're sorry, but that's not going to happen."
Upon Completion Azalea: "After talking to the adventurer, I wondered why Suparna wouldn't have eaten you already when she needed all the nourishment she could find to lay eggs. That means you were too valuable to her. Suparna knew you could lure prey to her, like you tried to set up this adventurer for her. When you first met this adventurer, your timing was impeccable. You acted like an innocent victim, but that was not the case, was it? You were with Suparna to get some information you wanted when you met this adventurer, and then you realized he had a tool to control Valgur. You leaked the information about the bell, and feigned fear and ran away from us, so you could go back to Suparna and [coax] her into launching an all-out attack against this adventurer. You did all that to kill him and steal the bell. But you failed to steal the bell, and Suparna died. You're strong, but not enough to beat the adventurer. And what you're doing right now--"

Laura: "You're pretty smart, aren't you? I was too preoccupied with this adventurer to take notice of you. Yes, I was going to let his guard down and steal the bell, so I could sic Valgur on him. Bah! Suparna had an interesting ability. I wanted her to lay eggs in her best condition, and that didn't go well. Adventurer, you shouldn't have shown me the bell. I know how it works now. Hah hah!"

Azalea: "Who are you?"

Laura: "Who are you? The spell I used to conceal my mana is from an old grimoire. No one knew how I did it, until you came along. How come I haven't heard of such a powerful mage? It's disconcerting. Maybe Pandemonium is bigger than I thought."

Azalea: "..."

Laura: "Bah, this is just my luck. I've hidden my mana for too long to beat that adventurer in a contest of strength, but once I complete my research... Adventurer. My savior. We'll meet again. I want to repay you for saving me by taking away your life. You'll make good subjects for my research. Ho ho!"

Crossing the Wind Canyon

Level 86

I just wanted to keep an eye on her. She left without a fight this time, but you should watch for her while staying in Pandemonium. Pandemonium is a harsh place to live. It forces its residents to develop survival skills. If they are not physically strong, then they're cunning, and they all adapt to their surroundings quickly. Because there are so many hurdles that you have to overcome just to survive, some people don't hesitate to hurt others for their survival. And they won't change, unless something catastrophic happens to their world. But Terra wasn't always like this. It used to be beautiful and inhabited by kind people just like Arad--Oh, I've talked far too long already. The others are here, so let's go. I'll tell the others to ride on the back. Adventurer, sit at the front and ring the bell to guide Valgur."

Azalea: "I'm sensing traces of his mana. He definitely came here, but it's difficult to trace his mana because of the magic cast on the forest."

Dana Donatel: "...He may be good at hiding, but he won't be able to hide with Pipi in tow. He can't help but leave traces, both physical and magical. Let's keep looking. That girl was with us, even if it was brief, and that makes her one of us."
Objectives Head for Central Park while looking for Aslan's traces.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:
Dana Donatel: "Mm, what are those? There are footprints under the leaves. They belong to a man, judging by the depth. These still look fresh. Let's hurry. Oh, did you find something?"

Enchanted Forest

Level 86
Quest Giver Azalea

Briefing Azalea: "It's been bothering me that this forest is enchanted. At first, I thought it might be a growing spell to cultivate a forest in Pandemonium, but I was wrong. Whoever Cyrus has sensed must be the person who cast the magic on this forest. He hasn't done anything too threatening yet, but we'd better watch for him."

Cyrus: "Bah, why are there so many obstacles? It's just a girl we're trying to find. Is Summoner Kate so great?"

Hunter Von: "I don't know, but I've heard she's considered a pioneer of modern summoning magic. She's also called Elementalist Kate, and one has to be exceptionally good at magic to be named both a summoner and elementalist."

Dana Donatel: "The Apostle told us to go to her. She has to have some clues for us. Or at least, I hope she does. Adventurer, please stay alert. We don't know if the mage of this forest is friend or foe."
Objectives Continue moving through the forest to get to Central Park.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon defeating all enemies in room C3:

Cyrus: "I think we've been here before. This is troublesome. If you get lost in such a vast forest, you can get stuck there forever. If that Grim Seeker woman was right about this forest being enchanted, we could be trapped. Her Highness is not well enough to go on. Adventurer, I'll check this way. You go that way. Come back if you run into any trouble."

Apostle Luke's lackeys have abducted her? It would make more sense that you attacked Pipi and stole the bell. Don't you think? Objectives Follow Aslan who is hauling Pipi with him.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering room D3:

Aslan: "Do you have a death wish? Stop interfering with me!"

Upon defeating Oblivious Aslan in room D3:
Oblivious Aslan: "...Luke told me to leave the adventurer alone. Does he want me to waste my time in this place? No. I'm supposed to eliminate obstacles and return to him as quickly as I can."

Pipi: "Adventurer, this man scares me. He's crazy."

Oblivious Aslan: "If you don't want her to die, stop getting in my way! Keep following me, and this girl will pay the price!"

<Player>: "..."

Upon entering the boss room:
Niu: "I wasn't sure, but it really was you, Aslan. Please let Pipi go."

Oblivious Aslan: "Here comes yet another nuisance."

Niu: "Snap out of it! Luke is controlling you!"

Oblivious Aslan: "Even if he is, it won't change my loyalty to him!"

Red Witch: "Don't worry about Pipi. Just get rid of him!"

Upon defeating the boss:

Oblivious Aslan: "Urgh..."
Upon Completion Niu: "Pipi! Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Pipi: "Aww... Niu... Niu! Ouch--what was that for? That hurts!"

Niu: "It serves you right, you fool! What did you expect? You disappeared on us and came back like this!"

Pipi: "Ouch! I'm sorry, but stop hitting me! My hair is a tangled mess as it is!"

Arrival in Central Park

Level 86
Quest Giver Niu
Briefing Niu: "Ah... Hah hah hah. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you. I was so happy to see my sister that I forgot my manners. You came back from Arad, right? Kate told me you were coming. Thank you for helping Pipi. Please come to our village with us. Central Park is the name of the region that includes this forest. The original Central Park, where Summoner Kate lives, is farther in the back."

Red Witch: "I'm sorry, but where did Kate go?"

Niu: "She's moving on her own. She told me to bring Pipi back home as soon as I found her. We can wait for her in the village."

Red Witch: "Can I come with you? That man is still in my [forest], and I had to lift the spell on the forest for Pipi. I need to stay somewhere else for a while."

Niu: "Sure, you can come with us. Oh, Adventurer, where are your friends? You can take them with you, too."
Objectives Go to Central Park and talk to Niu.
Upon Completion Niu: "Welcome to Central Park. How do you like it compared to the villages in Arad you've been [to]? It's not big, but Kate poured her heart [into] its creation. Pretty, huh? You must be exhausted, coming this far. Why don't you get some rest? Kate will be here soon."

Red Witch: "Oh, right--give me that Bell of Obedience back. It's not something you can carry around so casually. I let you borrow it because you begged for it, and what did you do? Yes, you lost it."

Pipi: "Ho ho ho... B-but you wouldn't have met this adventurer if I didn't drop it, would you? Can't you just let it go?"

Niu: "No. You'll never live this down."

Pipi: "*Sob* My sisters are always harassing me. Adventurer, help..."

Meeting

Level 86
Quest Giver Red Witch
Dungeon Red Witch's Forest
Briefing Red Witch: "Niu, where did Kate go? Why doesn't she come back already?"

Niu: "I don't know. Lady witch, could you look for her?"

Red Witch: "I had to cancel the spell that I cast on the forest for Pipi, and restoring it takes a while."

Pipi: "...Hmpf, could you stop saying that you did it for me?"

Pai: "...You deserve it."

Pipi: "Pai, I can't believe you! You don't know the terrible things I've experienced in the outside world!"

Red Witch: "That's not my business. Right now, I'm just upset about that creepy man stalking my forest."

Pipi: "...We'd better go find her. Adventurer, I know you're tired, but could you come with me? I'll feel safer if you do."
Objectives Help Niu look for Kate in the Red Witch's Forest.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Oblivious Aslan: "Why? Why did you stop me? Don't you know how important Luke is to Pandemonium?"

Niu: "I do. I haven't decided how I feel about Luke, but I know what he's trying to do is wrong."

Oblivious Aslan: "You just don't understand him. Soon, everyone will realize how right he's been!"

'Upon defeating the boss:
Oblivious Aslan: "Well, he doesn't need anything else getting in his way. Anyone who defies him doesn't deserve to live. I will kill you right here and now!"

Kate: "No, you won't. Agent of Apostle Luke, you've abducted my sister and threatened my guests, but I'll let that slide if you leave peacefully."
Upon Completion Kate: "Whew, I'm exhausted. I used my elemental power too quickly. Niu, are you all right?"

Niu: "Oh, yes, I am. Thank you. Where's Aslan?"

Kate: "I don't know. I was too busy casting magic, but coming back here will take him more energy than he cares to spend. I'm sure he'd rather admit his defeat and return to Luke."

Kasijas: "Gah, you blew him away so quickly that I didn't get the chance to see how strong that liutenant of Luke's was."

Kate: "*Chuckle* I didn't want to damage the trees. Plus, Kasijas, your sword is too precious to draw blood from someone like him."

Summoner Kate

Level 86
Quest Giver Kate
Briefing Kate: "And this person next to Niu must be... *Chuckle* You're that famed adventure, aren't you? I'm Kate. I've heard many great things about you. It must have been tough coming all the way to Pandemonium. This is Apostle Kasijas. Don't worry, he's not a threat. He's helping me."

Kasijas: "I'm not helping you. I'm just using you to get into more fights."

Kate: "*Chuckle* Sure, whatever you say. Niu, what are you doing here? Did you find Pipi? Oh, you wondered where I was, so you came to find me. Thank you. Now that we got rid of Pipi's evil abductor, we can safely go back to Central Park. The others must be waiting for us."
Objectives Return to Central Park and talk to Kate.
Upon Completion Kate: "Finally, we're here. Home sweet home! Ah, are they your friends, Adventurer?"

Kate's Story

Level 86
Quest Giver Kate
Briefing Kate: "I know why you came here: to stop Apostle Luke. He's admired by all of Pandemonium, but recently his actions have been rather alarming."

Dana Donatel: "I agree. I thought the people of Pandemonium were aware of that, but I was wrong."

Kate: "That's because his schemes don't affect Pandemonium as much as they do your world. He's never spread the Black Nightmare in Pandemonium, and that's probably because he doesn't want to agitate the other Apostles."

Isabella: "You're saying no one in Pandemonium would help us."

Kate: "You would have a hard time finding people who would be glad to help you. To the general populace of Pandemonium, Arad is a myth and Apostle Luke's technology has benefited all of them."

Azalea: "...What about you? I'll understand if you're upset at what we're trying to do."

Kate: "...Actually, I am. I may not look it, but I've relied on Luke a lot until recently, when I've learned what he did to Arad. What I've learned [shook] me to the core. Are you going to defeat Apostle Luke? Are you going to stop him by defeating him and restore peace? It may be the best solution at this moment, but know that things don't always turn out the way you want. Unexpected things could happen after Apostle Luke is gone."

Kate: "...Give me a moment. Let me put some thought into this before we continue this conversation."
Objectives Wait until Kate puts her thoughts in order, and then talk to her again.
Upon Completion Kate: "...The King of Heblon Luke has created the seal with the dark energy that the Black Nightmare has collected for him. To break the seal, its darkness has to be neutralized by light. He used the Black Nightmare to suck energy out of Arad and strengthen his power of light and darkness. He's keeping most of the energy, but the rest is scattered across Pandemonium. It takes time to gather the scattered light, and gathering enough light to break his seal will take at least a decade."

Hunter Von: "Aww, that's too long. *Whine*"

Kate: "And there's one place in Pandemonium where one can gather Luke's scattered energy of light more quickly than they can anywhere else, and it's here, Central Park."

Azalea: (illegible due to text glitch)

Kate: "Natural light barely reaches Pandemonium. I wouldn't have grown this forest so big if it weren't for Luke's power. Pandemonium is not as dark as it used to be, but it still needs the artificial infusion of light that Luke provides for things to grow. That's why I'm sad and hesitant to help you. I love this forest, and I love Luke for giving it to me. The others of Pandemonium would feel the same about him as I do. ...Adventurer, let me give this to you. Please take it."

Light in the Forest

Level 86
Quest Giver Dana Donatel
Dungeon Red Witch's Forest
Briefing Dana Donatel: "Oh, how pretty! What's that bead?"

Kate: "It's Apostle Luke's light that I've gathered. I've been saving it to create a new forest. But that's not enough to weaken the seal. It needs an extra infusion of light from the forest."

Dana Donatel: "Then can it break Luke's seal with an extra infusion of light?"

Kate: "...It'd be possible."

Dana Donatel: "Then Adventurer, let's go fill it with light."

Kate: "Wait. I suggest letting the adventurer do it on his own. It won't take long, even if he does it alone. Everyone else, you should get ready to leave. Oh, right--your princess is not healed yet, is she? I've got some good herbs for her."
Objectives Enter the Red Witch's Forest to fill up the bead with light.
Dungeon Dialogue Upon entering the boss room:

Kasijas: "You came. I wanted to meet you in private, so I made Kate arrange the meeting. I'm glad you came alone. I don't want any spectators. Adventurer, have a match with me. I've always wanted to see how strong you are. Show me how you've defeated so many other Apostles."

If player is a Summoner:

Kasijas: "Don't worry. I won't stop you if you want to use my clones against me."
Upon Completion Kasijas: "Bwa hah hah! You're good. I like you! Yes, you're ballsy enough to think that you can take on the Apostles!"

Back to the Castle of the Dead

Level 86
Quest Giver Kasijas
Briefing Kasijas: "Kate is reluctant because she trusts Hilder and Luke equally, like everyone else in Pandemonium. She said she'd make up her mind before you came, but she hasn't. Me? I don't have time for trifle things like emotions. I only care about fighting, and that's why I was never interested in knowing Luke. But now I'm excited to see what that short little geezer can do. I can't kill him, but I'd love to watch you fight him. Go back to the Castle of the Dead and fight to the death--that's the only way you can survive."
Objectives Go back to Central Park and talk to Kate. (Complete this quest, and all the NPCs at the Pandemonium Outpost will disappear.)
Upon Completion Kate: "You've met Kasijas. I asked you to go alone because he wanted to test you. *Chuckle* Were you surprised? He's been dying to meet you, so I've arranged the meeting for him. You've passed his test, and that's enough for me. Also, Pipi trusts you. We can't wait any longer. The bead has enough light in it already. It can temporarily weaken Luke's seal by neutralizing his power of darkness. I have faith in you. You won't waste this opportunity in vain. ...I don't know what repercussions this decision will have, but I'm betting the future of this world on you. Meet Apostle Luke. It's up to you to decide what to do with him. Now, you should go back. Arad doesn't have time left. Please hurry. Stop the Black Nightmare before it suffocates everyone in your world to death."

To Zelva with a Heart Full of Hope

Level 86
Quest Giver Kasijas
Briefing Kasijas: "You're not going there to have fun. Depending on the situation, you might have to kill an Apostle. Are you sure you can do that to Luke?"

Niu: "I can't say I am, but Kasijas, there's something I have to know. Someone has become a completely different person all of a sudden, and I want to know why."

Kasijas: "Obviously, that's Luke's doing. No one can change all of a sudden without intervention from some higher force."

Niu: "..."

Pai: "...Sister."

Niu: "...Okay. I don't want to be a burden. Someone has to stay here and watch the forest, anyway. Adventurer, if you happen to meet Aslan in the Castle of the Dead, could you please ask him if he doesn't want to come back? I know we've just met and it's presumptuous of me to ask you personal favors. And Pipi probably wouldn't approve of this, but Aslan is the reason why we're here. I can't... I can't leave him the way he is. Ah... Thank you. Thank you so much, Adventurer."

Dana Donatel: "Then... Von, what are you going to do? You might have to be responsible for Luke's death, and that's not what you want, is it? Why don't you stay here?"

Hunter Von: "*Whine* But I'm a member of my guild. I dread what we might have to do, but I don't want to run away. And my friends need me to navigate the way back for them. Adventurer, I didn't sit around with my thumb up my butt while you were busy fighting. Instead, I've checked all the bypaths and resting spots. I bet no one knows the routes between Central Park and the Castle of the Dead better than I do. *Ahem*"

Dana Donatel: "Ho ho. I see. Then please forget what I said. Now, Adventurer, it's time you leave and bring hope back to those who have been waiting for you."
Objectives Return to Zelva and talk to Hunter Von.
Upon Completion Hunter Von: "Ugh, I knew that route by heart, but I didn't know it'd be so tough using it. Maybe I should choose an easier route than a shortcut next time... *Whine* By the way, the Castle of the Dead looks more dreadful than it was before. Luke..."
