Quests
Dorothy's Gateway
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Dorothy |
Briefing | Dorothy: "I know not how you found this place, but I cannot allow you to pass. *She peers at you from under the rim of her visor* But you seem different from the others. What business have you here?" |
Objectives | Talk to Dorothy. |
Upon Completion | Dorothy: "*She listens as you explain. After you finish, she sighs.* I can see you have not stumbled here by accident. You are more determined than the others. Against my better judgment, I shall let you pass. Come, follow me." |

The Empire's Blockade
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Dorothy |
Briefing | Dorothy: "*As she speaks, the woman does not remove her hat or make eye contact.* My name is Dorothy. I am an imperial officer, here to guard the Interdimensional Rift from Dungeon Fighters such as yourself. *She gestures toward the rift* As you can see, Interdimensional Rifts, which we thought to be legend, are indeed real. Were you to enter, you would find yourself in the Otherverse, a place where time and space, as we know them, do not exist. We know little else about what lies beyond the rift. You mentioned that you seek powerful equipment from the Otherverse, but I warn you, such treasures will not be easy to obtain. I suggest you bring allies with you. Actually, I suggest you do not go through the rift at all, but I can tell you are determined, so... I bid you good luck, though it will not be enough to save you." |
Objectives | Enter the Interdimensional Rift, clear the Goblin Kingdom, then return to Dorothy. (You can only enter Goblin Kingdom in a 4-person party.) |
Upon Completion | Dorothy: "*Dorothy stares in disbelief as you step out of the rift* You... You made it back alive! This has never happened before! I am thrilled, of course. Overjoyed. But I think I need to sit down." |
Rewards |
A Rift to the Past
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Dorothy |
Briefing | Dorothy: "*Now that you've proven you can handle the Interdimensional Rift, Dorothy seems much more excited. Her eyes seem to burn as you tell her about the rift.* I have studied these rifts, studied them intensely. In all of Grand Flores, the energy of the Devolution is at its most potent here. Exactly here. And you say you've found the Goblin Kingdom inside the rift! In all my studies, no one has ever found the Goblin Kingdom. Actually, no one's ever returned from the rift, period. *Dorothy thinks for a moment* It all seems a little too convenient. I have a hunch, Dungeon Fighter. I think someone purposely placed this rift here, exactly so we'd find that kingdom. I would never suggest you re-enter rift, but if were thinking of heading back through, anyway... I'd be curious to know what else you see." |
Objectives | Unknown |
Upon Completion | Dorothy: "*Dorothy's eyes widen at your report* The Sky Tower? How is that possible? It couldn't possibly be the same Sky Tower we have here. Give me a minute to let this sink in." |
Rewards |
The Tower's Dark Past
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Dorothy |
Briefing | Dorothy: "I wonder if anyone else knows about the Sky Tower within the Interdimensional Rift. *Dorothy laughs* No, of course no one else knows about it. Where did I even get such a ridiculous notion?" |
Objectives | Unknown |
Upon Completion | Sharan: "My, my, Dungeon Fighter. You are surrounded by a strange aura today. *You explain going through the rift and seeing Sky Tower, and Sharan gives a knowing nod* The Sky Tower you saw was the Sky Tower from 500 years ago, back when the tower was surrounded by Bakal's dark magic. It was barely more than a speck in the sky back then. They called the tower Castle Nebulous because it looked like little more than a mirage. Humans never ventured to the castle, but a few brave and powerful Dark Elves did. Most were killed by Bakal's minions, but a few Mages survived. They documented their experience, which is how I know what I know." |

Harnessing the Rift
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Sharan |
Briefing | Sharan: "Today, humans consider the story about the Dark Elves and the Interdimensional Rift little more than legend, but it is no myth. You see, we found an Interdimensional Rift some hundreds of years ago and have been studying the nature and power of the rift ever since. We have learned that some Dark Elves can move between dimensions using those rifts, though they have no control over where they end up. Some have also learned to manipulate the powers of the Otherverse. Unfortunately, that is all I can reveal. The details are confidential, and I will not betray my people, not even for you. But I will tell you one other thing. If you enter a rift seeking true power, the rift will lead you to a place where you can obtain it." |
Objectives | Unknown |
Upon Completion | Dorothy: "First, Sky Tower, and now, the Kartel fortress. Truly, time and space do follow their own laws within the Interdimensional Rift. Fascinating." |

Guerillas in the Mist
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Dorothy |
Briefing | Dorothy: "That the Kartels built such a powerful fortress on this continent is disturbing. You must find someone who can give you more information about their fortress." |
Objectives | Unknown |
Upon Completion | Kiri: "Hey, you. How's it going? *You explain what you saw at the Kartel fortress, and Kiri's face turns uncharacteristically grave* Rangelus's Guerrillas... That's who you saw. This is bad, Dungeon Fighter." |
Rewards |
Kiri's Plea
Level | 65 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Lady Kiri |
Briefing | Kiri: "Rangelus's Guerrillas are a mercenary group known through the deserts and the Lawless District of Empyrean. They're sly, strong and more despicable that words can express. I came to Arad to avoid them, but I cannot keep running. No, this time, we must face them head on. If they're here, it means they have their eyes on Arad. They'll inevitably expand. They want to rule here. Dungeon Fighter, we cannot allow that to happen." |
Objectives | Unknown |
Upon Completion | Kiri: "It is amazing what this rift allows us to accomplish. You've bought us some time with the Kartels by defeating their advance guards, all because of the rift. Wonderful!" |
