History

Veara comes from Echon just like Kasijas & Yashin, he sold his soul to an ancient demon to obtain unimaginable power and demonic-like appearance. In order to become even stronger, he visited Luke and asked for remodeling, but after doing so Luke was attacked by Veara as he wanted to take control over his Castle of the Dead. It’s no surprise that Luke easily defeated his opponent and brainwashed him to stay there, but the surprising fact is that Veara regained his consciousness and is the the only one who was able to rid himself of Luke's influence. And yet, Veara stayed in Luke's Castle and even developed feelings of admiration and loyalty towards him, because there he was able to refine his combat skills by fighting powerful opponents.

Move Set

• Spinning Strike: Veara kneels to the ground and hops into the air by striking down the floor with his sword that creates red large spires infront of him. The move itself is avoidable with y-axis movements and causes moderate to heavy damage if players come in contact.

• Tornado Slash: Veara swipes his sword and creates a tornado that moves in a straight-line. Very avoidable, otherwise deals moderate damage upon being hit.

• Light Orb: The screen turns dark and Veara will summon six light orbs and fires them straight towards players. This too can be avoided as it causes heavy to lethal damage upon contact. This attack only occurs when he gets back up from being knocked down.

• Self-Harm: Veara stabs himself in the chest and fires out a blood stream in a straight line. He will appear at the very side of the map to charge and unleash this attack that reaches to the opposite side of the map. Be careful to avoid this as getting caught into the stream will have you captured in a bubble and dealt with moderate to heavy damage.

Berserk

• Veara's berserk gauge is the one below saying "The power of the devil." If this fills up during the fight, he will use two different attacks to wipe out party members.
  • Extreme Overkill: "A pitiful wretch..." Veara goes into the air and creates a large red line in the middle of the room that can pull in players. He strikes down to knock away players and creates huge blood pillars that can cause very lethal damage if pulled into the line.  Quick Rebound can be used to avoid taking damage from this pattern.
  • Devil’s Shaman: "A poor wretch..." Veara charges a shock wave that hits screen wide and launches party members into the air. He'll will capture the airborne players and throw a giant light dragon at the party with the message "The power of the devil shall eradicate you!" This attack has multi-hit properties and deals very heavy to lethal damage if caught.

Strategy

• Use holds and burst damage to dispatch of him.
• Avoid his Light Orb and Self-Harm when he's about to prepare the attacks.
• Time your jumps when he uses Devil’s Shaman.
