Mech Drop
Revision as of 18:38, 29 January 2013 by CricketJam (talk | contribs)
Description
Calls for aerial support that drops 20 land runners within an area of 500px. The dropped Raid Land Runners explode immediately dealing fire elemental damage, but on rare occasions some special land runners will survive the drop and act like normal land runners.
Prerequisite
- Land Runner Lv 10+
Details
- Cast Time: 0.7 Seconds
- Cooldown Time: 40 Seconds
- This skill consumes 2 clear cube fragment.
- Takes time from activation to actual attack. Be aware of its timing.
- Special Land Runners have following property:
- Red Buster
- The fastest, pinkish land runner with a larger explosion. Inflicts about 40% more damage than Raid Land Runners.
- Steel Smasher
- Round-headed land runner with ability to stun a target. Stun level is equal to the robot's level. Inflicts 3 headbutts and then explodes. Headbutts and the explosion deals the same damage as Raid Land Runners, but the headbutts are non-elemental.
- Mana Relaxer
- A green Land Runner. Approaches an ally and heals them. It only has 1 HP.
- Healing Radar
- A green Land Runner. Approaches an ally and heals them. It only has 1 HP. Sometimes heals entire party.
- Because of its strong visual effects (giant plane shadow and yellow targeting reticles) and slow movement of explosions, players very easily dodge this in PvP almost to the point that it's not even worth trying to use.
- Because Steel Smashers do not self destruct from time, it is possible to break Hell Mode if the skill is used so the Red Busters do not break open the gate. Not advised due to it being a potential bannable offence (abusing game mechanics) as well as the long time it takes to spawn enough Steel Smashers for the tactic to work (30+ minutes).
- Like normal land runners, Healing Radar and Mana Relaxer will not target an ally if they are invisible.
- Can be improved with Mech Drop Upgrade
Trivia
The audio clip that plays with this attack ("In the pipe, five by five") is taken from the game Starcraft, with a very slight audio change.
