The crazed swordsman battles them once again in front of the ward only to be defeated again and gets captured this time as he tries to break free.
During the events in Royal Casino, Chermak somehow was able to escape Tagor's ward and encounters the adventurer's group one last time before Yom uses his shadow to devour him, killing the crazed swordsman for good. He is briefly mentioned during a conversation between Yom and an unknown voice which happens to be Ricardo who was the one that sent out Chermak on his mission which he ended up failing.
Inside Fight Club, the adventurer comes across Chermak's body along with several dead Kashipa members.
