White Rust Sisley

White Rust Sisley is a an ordinary-looking girl with a rabbit doll in her arms who happens to be a Geniewiz and former member of the defunct Devilgirl group. She later joins the Kashipa, becoming leader of the Senior Looting Unit Rust that's dispatched in the Harlem Outskirts during Operation: Hope.

History

Prior to current events, Sisley was once a member of the Devilgirl group which consists of Geniewiz who are also the biggest troublemakers in Pandemonium dedicating their work into researching the Homunculi that was forbidden. But when Apostle Hilder became angry towards that group and disbanded it, Sisley along with several witches that strayed away would later take refuge in Harlem to join the Kashipa and continue their research. She is the most stubborn and determined of that group, even going so far as to conceal her magic from an old grimoire just to avoid Hilder's wrath.

During the Adventurer's journey through Metro Center, She first approaches them in Wind Canyon by introducing herself as an innocent nomad under the alias "Laura" who escape from her village that was destroyed by Gragol and asked for their help to save her brother and defeat the monsters there turned out to be a lie. While accompanying them, they deal with the Garuda Queen, Suparna along with her servant Valgur to attack the duo, but somehow the beast is stopped by the Bell of Obedience which catches Laura's curiosity.

She heard from a friend that Garuda feathers can be used to fill up the bell's magic that's currently in a weakened state and so the adventurer heads back into the Canyon to collect them, eventually stopping Valgur and defeating Suparna in the process. Later on, Laura asked if she could use the bell and escape on Valgur until Azalea uncovers her suspicious plot that involves her luring the adventurer into a trap while persuading the Garuda Queen into attacking them and steal the bell which didn't go so well. Despite the failed plan, Laura leaves and promises to meet her savior again by threatening them.

During the Adventurer's journey through Harlem, they eventually cross paths with Laura for a second time in District 9 when she comes across Tagor's ward and Demon Sworder Chermak who attempts to kill them, running away afterwards. When the adventurer and Pai revisits the ward, Laura chats with them and denies being a Kashipa after Pai questioned her. She does ask for forgiveness after the threat she made back in Metro Center by making a proposition to help out freeing slaves and destroy the ward that protects Royal Casino's entrance.

Laura later reappears inside the casino where she hears the adventurer is gonna participate in Fight Club, Ceberin is able to sense her concealed magic which she calls "unpleasant" and aware that only the Kashipas are capable of using such antiquated spells which Laura applauds to and calls out the weakened mage as a Kashipa. After the awkward silence, She still wants to offer her help, but chooses to leave instead after the adventurer gets announced to compete.

During the events of Operation: Hope, Sisley and her unit are dispatched in the Dying Forest section in Harlem's Outskirts to continue their research involving the Abyss. She fights off adventurers and is defeated only to take control of the rabbit doll she carries, uttering out "Useless body" and continues to battle, but loses again and retreats to an unknown location.

• The White Rust title is a reference to a disease in plants caused by the oomycete Albugo candida or one of its close relatives.
• Both Sisley & Enchantress happen to carry around a rabbit doll.
• Azalea & Ceberin are the only two characters that are able to sense her concealed magic during their respective conversations.
  • Sisley is aware of Azalea and how powerful she is, but the relation between those two is unknown.
  • Ceberin on the other hand knows about those spells considering she's an Ex-Kashipa which Sisley calls her out on.
