Metamorphosis
Description
Partially unleashes the power of the demon and become half-demon
Details
- Command Input:
- Obtained upon becoming an Avenger
- Activating Metamorphosis triggers an explosion that damages surrounding enemies.
- Changes your basic attacks, dash attack, and jump attack while active
- Devil Strike's damage increases while Metamorphosis is active
- Devil Strike does not consume the Demon Gauge while Metamorphosis is active
- Furious Grab, Shadow Render, Thunder Mine, Spin Cutter, Thorn of Protection, Spinning Deformation, Demonic Clutch, Reaper, and Dark Authority all have their damage increased while Metamorphosis is active
- Giant Weapon Launcher is completely disabled while Metamorphosis is active, pressing the
key (default) instead triggers a downward slash for burst damage.
- Launching enemies into the air while in this state must be done with the use of Devil Strike.
- Continuously drains Demon Gauge while active.
- Using Painful Rapture still increases the Demon Gauge and lengthens the amount of time the Avenger stays in Metamorphosis.
- Using Falling Soul during this state still drains the Demon Gauge.
- Execution may be used during Metamorphosis but will automatically cancel Metamorphosis after use.
- Using Execution in this state does not have the claw-dragging part.
- Activating Demonize during Metamorphosis triggers an alternate, faster transform animation which causes an AoE explosion that damages surrounding enemies.
- Changes the animation of Phoenix Hammer to a ground-punch due to his weapon disappearing.
