Tanictar, the king of the Dwarves with an insatiable hunger for gold, told Venus that her Human lover Narcissus was in love with a fairy girl named, Radia. Venus paid Tanictar's favor by sharing the location of her secret location of her secret gold vein. Tanictar mobilized all his people to dig an underground tunnel to get to the vein. Venus cursed the Dwarves, making gold their misery, but Tanictar was undaunted. He found the gold vein and mined all the gold there was. With the gold, he built the underground city Noire Ferra and enjoyed the greatest prosperity that any kingdom had ever known. Fennes King Guntram and the other Dark Elves realized Tanictar's inquisitiveness was the cause of Venus' curse upon them and their loss of holy power. They swore vengeance and raised an army. Guntram led his army into Noire Ferra, beheaded Tanictar, and drove the Dwarves out of the city.
