The Seven Mistral is a mini-boss fought in Sanctuary of Birth

Description

Mistral is a creature that comes from Planet Gallabaddon and is similar to Haboob & Apostle Sirocco. She lived in the sewers of Gallabaddon and consumed leftover energy through waste waters, but at some point she obtained the ability to mind control after absorbing Sirocco's leftover energy. With new powers, Mistral was able to conquer Gallabaddon's sewers and even started a rebellion, but she was easily outmatched by Sirocco and finally confined in a ice prison. With no energy to absorb, Mistral was waiting for her death... until Sirocco was killed by Roxy in Old Screaming Cavern. Sirocco's death allowed Mistral to escape her ice imprisonment, and at some point she traveled through dimensions and appeared in Castle of the Dead.

Move Set

  • Water Barrier: Mistral will say "Don't you dare lay a hand on me!" and form a barrier to protect herself from incoming attacks. Once broken, Mistral will be completely exhausted and stunned for roughly 8 to 10 seconds, being opened to damage.
  • Runaway: Summons water clones that spawn on Mistral and runs outwards in a hexagonal pattern. It is easy to avoid, but hard in the middle of other mechanics.

The droplets cause no damage, but the puddles they leave behind will cause Confusion and Slow status. It is best to group these away from the fight as it will hinder avoiding additional patterns.
  • Whirlpool: Mistral goes "Let's dance!" disappears and casts an large water AoE circle in the room, summoning a whirlpool. It has a vacuum effect and anyone caught in it will take multiple hits, causing heavy damage so try to run away when she uses this skill.
  • "Fight on your own:" When Mistral's HP threshold is lowered, she'll will stand in place, invulnerable for a short period of time before sinking into the ground. After this, she'll attempts to mind control a random player by diving into them around three times. This move can be avoided with Y-axis.
    • She'll be stunned for one second if the attempt fails, but will rinse and repeat the process until defeated.
    • If Mistral's mind control succeeds, the affected player will have 80% of their MP depleted and cause friendly-fire.
