New Map of Southern Dale

Description

A secret letter delivered from the Empire to the Dungeon Fighters states that a religious group called the Shadow Seekers have dug a hole in the southern hill areas of Grand Flores and are building a temple there. The Empire asks that Dungeon Fighters handle this matter. According to rumors, there may be royal family treasures hidden in the area, and because of this, many are already headed towards the southern hills of Grand Flores.

Notes

Special items can only be obtained here, making it a prime location for hunting loot. However, many traps await those looking for treasure...

  • No equipment items will drop in this dungeon
  • Green monsters will have a chance to drop all sorts of demon scrolls
  • Monster drops guild slips to increase guild points used to buy Guild EXP books which are needed to increase the Guild's level above 10.
  • Characters are auto-balanced (much like in the Towers), so that low-level characters will be as effective as high-level characters.

Entry Requirements

In order to enter Southern Dale, a Southern Dale Pass is required. Passes can be obtained by battling during Town Invasions. A pass is given after the 3rd, 5th, and 10th successful battles.

Tips

  • Special Monster Cards ONLY drop here, giving unique enchants not seen elsewhere in the game.
  • A Treasure Room lies to the North; however, it may be trapped...

The Trapped Treasure

  • To the north of the dungeon lies a room with a single Treasure Chest. However, while it may give some very nice items (including Terranite), it may also hold nasty surprises to those who seek it. What actually appears in the room is random, but you may have to put up a fight to escape. Keep in mind though that the Treasure Chest may sometimes drop nothing. There will usually be a recovery fairy in this room

Types of battles

  • Nothing: Only the chest will appear.
  • GBL: Minister of Dawn, Minister of Twilight, Minister of Shadow, Minister of Light, Isadora and other GBL members
  • Fighters: Faris, Shasura, Ms. Shonan of Heaven's Net, and Wind Jisun
  • Slayers: Aganzo, Bwanga, Sajin the Dragon Swordsman, and Shadow Knight Sayoung
  • Goblin Kingdom: Various powerful goblin enemies from the Goblin Kingdom.
  • Hell Mode: You'll face off against a special "Hell Mode". In this room, your enemy is none other than the Sealed Container itself. However, while it can't attack, it will summon the other Hell Demons to its aid. In most cases, you'll be fighting at least 2 Hell Demons at a time. This is mostly a match of endurance, as the Hell Demons don't last forever.

Something to keep in mind is sometimes you'll gain help from Adventurer Dipper. But this mostly depends on what you end up facing. You'll also gain Victory Points for any APC you defeat here.
