Move List

  • Kratek's Gaze: Upon entering the room, Kratek will cast a gaze effect on each party member. If players afflicted with this gaze stand still for too long, they will take damage over time. Kratek will continue to apply this effect over the course of the fight.
  • Summon Clone: Upon entering the room, Kratek will summon a spectral clone of himself. This clone does not take damage; it only dies when Kratek dies.
    • Dive: Kratek's clone will grow brighter overtime. Once it is completely white, the clone will leap towards a random party member.
  • Smoke Plume: Party members will occasionally be marked by a red orb above their head. After a short delay, afflicted players will drop red smoke where they are standing, which eventually turns into a smoke plume that deals contact damage.
  • Gathering Energy: Occasionally after taking damage, Kratek will shield himself and the message "Energy starts gathering around Gatekeeper Kratek" will be broadcasted. After a brief delay, a random party member will be permanently stunned and send out a destructable, slow-moving blue orb towards Kratek. If Kratek successfully absorbs this orb, he will gain a large amount of health, attack speed, and movement speed. Once the orb dissappears, the stunned player will be freed.
  • Flash: Kratek will cover his eyes and the message "Gatekeeper Kratek covers his eyes" will be broadcasted. After a short delay, he will stun and place and place a Smoke Plume on all players who are looking towards him.
  • Burrow: Occasionally after taking damage, Kratek will go underground and become invincible for a brief duration. When Kratek resurfaces, all players nearby will take a large amount of damage.
  • Pillar Drop: Kratek slams the ground and summons fiery pillars at marked areas, dealing moderate damage and knocking back players caught in the impact zone.

Strategy

  • Make use of long-lasting holds and stuns to prevent Kratek from using Burrow or Gathering Energy.
  • Players marked for Smoke Plume should bait the plumes towards the edges of the arena.
  • Move as far away as possible when Kratek primes Gathering Energy in order to give party members ample time to destroy the blue orb.
  • Kratek's clone's Dive attack has very short vertical reach. Because of this, players should start moving up and down right before it leaps.
