Description

The Altar of Infinity is a special gauntlet-type area, where you must attempt to clear 15 waves of enemies. In order to move on, you must defeat all enemies in a room before going to the next. There are 15 waves in total, spread across 3 rooms and the further you go, the harder the enemies get. At the 15th wave, the boss will appear and must be defeated in order to clear the dungeon. You have to pay gold in order to enter the Altar of Infinity. The amount of gold paid for each run increases depending your character level and number of runs.

Restrictions

First off, your character is rebalanced to Lv.60 (as seen through your weapon). You can use your own consumables here, and you'll accumulate points for killing enemies. You can then use these points to purchase buffs to your stats or heal yourself. The buffs will last the entire dungeon and will stack, however, they become more expensive to use the more you use them and the further you get through the waves. Healing will also get more expensive the more you use it.

Also, inviting more people to run the dungeon will increase the difficulty, much like in the Towers. You can use Tokens, however, you're limited to 5 per run. No Fatigue is wasted here.

Death & Rewards

You'll gain Item Cards and extra experience based on how many waves you made it through. The more waves completed, the more Item Cards and EXP you'll get. You'll get one Item Card per wave completed.

Monsters

The first ten waves are randomized. Waves 1-5 may be waves of Lugarus or Spiders and so on for 6-10. Every 5th wave will result in a miniboss fight, dependent on the type of wave (ex. Lugaru waves will have you fight a special Lugaru miniboss, etc.). Waves 11-15 are always the same. The 15th wave is the boss fight against Agares.

1-5: Lugaru, Spiders, or Slimes
6-10: Lizards, Goblins, or Knights
11-15: Undead; Zombies, Ghouls, and Titans, etc. (Always the same spawns)
Boss: Agares
