Familiar old buildings were severely melted and disfigured to the point of no longer being recognizable. There were a lot of people who had lived in the city, many of which had died unjustly and returned as ghosts. While everyone who died turned into ghosts, most of the survivors had mutated into hideous creatures of the night filled with evil thoughts.
