The Blade Master uses his weapon as a shield to reduce damage taken in front of him. As long as the skill hotkey is held, Guard will be maintained.

Details

  • Command Input: Downkey.pngDownkey.png + X.png
  • MP is consumed only once, upon activation.
  • On each successful guard, the character will be pushed back forcefully for certain period of time.
  • Effective against normal launching moves, but useless against throw moves.
  • When an Asura uses Guard on a projectile right before it lands, such as Ghost Orb or Illusion Sword Dance's final slash wave, Guard will negate the damage, and produce a Wave Manifestation.
