Description

Malicious Morgan is the boss of Shallow Keep. Formally a dark elf alchemist investigating the pandemic, he ironically fell victim to the very same plague he tried to cure.

Move List

  • Rushing melee attacks, and a close-range grab that is rarely used.
  • Throws exploding skulls. These travel in an arc, then stay in an area for a few seconds before exploding.
  • Has a special "Darkness Aura", which causes periodic damage.
  • Has a special Haste Aura that increases the speed of other undead enemies near him.
  • When attacked from behind, it has a chance to emit a poison cloud that may poison the attacker.

Strategy

  • Morgan's poison effects are more powerful than every other monster in the dungeon, so it's important not to get multi-poisoned by him as this can kill you extremely fast.
  • The Darkness Aura's timer is different for each party member. Once you see a skull forming on your character, jump to avoid getting hit by the aura.
  • It may be beneficial to kill the rest of the Ghouls that spawns with him as they'll gain speed bonuses from Morgan's auras. Skull Throwers are especially annoying as their attacks may stun you and leave you open to be hit by Morgan and his mob.
