Move Set
"This place belongs to Ivy, Who are you?"
- Botanical Covering: Ivy will summon flower fields which turn into spiritual flower spikes that launch players into into air. If a single botanical covering spawns from one flower, stepping on it will inflict Bind (Status) on them. This is pretty much Ivy's only attack pattern.
- Ivy possess two Berserk patterns throughout the fight.
- Don’t touch me! I’m angry!: If Ivy's berserk gauge rises due to being held too much by player skills, the flowers on the ground will turn into explosions underneath players for heavy damage, launching them in the air.
- Don’t bully my kids! Boohoo!:If once a significant number of flowers are spawned on the ground, Ivy will push back players and have the flowers turn into spikes that'll launch players airborne. Stay in a spot where there are no spawned flowers to avoid the attack. After this, she becomes vulnerable and enters her groggy state for 12 - 13 seconds. If not killed by the end of this time limit, she'll repeat her patterns.
Strategy
- Ivy sports a lot of HP and isn't that difficult to face, the main concern is the time limit that's required to defeat her.
- Party members should spread out during Botanical Covering so they don't get flung in the air by her flowers.
- Do not over-hold Ivy whatsoever or bring classes that relies on hold-type skills (such as Female Grappler or Male Grappler) as this could cause a headache among your party.
- You are encouraged to chip away at her HP with low-cooldown skills until she gets ready to use Don’t touch my children! Boohoohoo!
- If you get launched airborne by her main berserk pattern, you will lose 3 seconds of damage-dealing time which itself is not good.
- Use a Toy of Sparkling World if you're caught by her flowers.
- Depending on how powerful your party is, you can have Crusader/Enchantress deploy Apocalypse/ Crux of Victoria/ Marionette right away and skip Ivy's patterns altogether.
Appearances
