[hide]Overview & Entry Requirements
Raids within the entirety of Dungeon Fighter Online are introduced as high-scaled endgame related dungeon content that comes in several different phases (1 ~ 3), that'll eventually culminate with boss fights, while implementing multiple mechanics to either test the survivability or overall strength of those parties involved.
The Apostles, who play a major role in DFO's storyline, tend to be heavily centered around the Raids that's associated with them, excluding Fiend War and later Asrahan. When participating in Raids and successfully clearing them after the final boss is defeated, players receive numerous rewards of various items within their inventory that tends to range from; Tales of Braveries, Undaunted Determinations, Monster Cards, or Materials required to further enhance the current Equipment to become more powerful, or cosmetic-related for character customization.
To participate in Raids, each of them has several prerequisites mainly in the form of Act Quests and a Adventurer Fame cutline needed that can be fulfilled before gaining access to its respective channels, alongside coordinating up to a total of 8 to 12 individual players, being split into multiple parties of four members each, or optionally preferring to run solo (Guide/Squad) modes by a specific time limit given in-game.
Prior to the August 2021's Season 6 Act.18 The Unshackled update, Exorcism was the original threshold required to enter Raids before being completely phased out by
Adventurer Fame instead.
Fatigue Points are not required, but it will be always mandatory for all participants, alongside their Raid Leader to have an entry pass by purchasing one for a certain amount of materials, Gold or
Golden Beryls. If under the Neo Premium Contract Plus beneficial effects, players can receive a free raid pass without spending any resources at their respective Raid Shop tabs.
Weekly Auction System
Only exclusive to Bakal and Mu Raid's Normal/Hard Mode difficulties, these two in particular can offer up a Weekly Auction System after the final boss is defeated, in which players can spend a base amount of 1 Million Gold or higher to bid on various loot items either being; Enchanting Beads, Monster Cards, Equipment Recipes, Materials for upgrading, Custom Equipment, Warped Dimensional Cubes, Fusion Stones, or exclusive cosmetics.
Not only will the highest bidders receive their rewards, but the amount of gold spent gets distributed through the mail for all participants regardless if they stayed or left the Raid group after everything is finished. As of the Archer patch via Season 7 Act.07 ~ Shoot for the Stars, while Sirocco Raid's Hard Mode and Ozma Raid's Chaos Levels 1–3, post-Raid auctions remain in-game, but are no longer featured within the Global Client.
