Overview & Gameplay Progression
Released in July 2024 as part of the Season 8, Act.04 patch, Asrahan: Curtains of Mu is the second Pre-Raid content for an upcoming eighth raid that's focused around Mu, God of Mist for Dungeon Fighter Online. Identical to The Machine Revolution: Total War, either you as a solo player or a party of four members can traverse through the World of Rumination's Border Walls, which are Mu's unstable dreams. Here, you'll battle five bosses that represents an element and memory alike. For every week that's similar to Hall of Dimensions, one of five Boss Monsters will be selected as the last fight encountered in a stronger state, while the other four remain as Named Bosses. Defeating each boss grants a buff in the form of a "Memory Effect" offers different bonuses, while an Energy Orb they possess can be absorbed by one player each, or be optionally left alone which also has various effects when pressing the TAB key.
In a September 2024 patch following the Hunter/Vigilante update, Curtains of Mu would receive a Hard Mode version.
Sacred Beast Assistance
Before entering The World of Rumination, there are Five Sacred Beast allies that Camilla has to offer, except only one of three can be chosen when starting a run. Each one has their own individual abilities that helps out not just during boss fights, but even during the final encounter depending on the rotation and who was picked. Sacred Beasts are capable of evolving through accumulating experience after defeating bosses.
