Description

Isadora is the boss of GBL Arad Branch, and is a huge step-up in difficulty from the previous bosses you've faced up to this point. She's another fallen GBL member, and possesses several nifty spells, fighting like a Battlemage / Elementalist / Summoner hybrid.

Move List

• Attacks you at melee range with her staff. Also has ridiculously fast dashing attacks that generates Chasers which inflict a variety of elemental damage.
• Summons Wisps and Naias. These inflict roughly double the damage of enemies found in the dungeon.
• Causes rocks to drop from the ceiling at random points in the room. Marked by yellow circles on the ground.
• Casts Spirit Explosion. This is a very powerful spell which causes all summoned Wisps and Naias' in the room to explode, causing Light and Ice damage.
• Summons a meteor to drop into the room. The meteor's landing zone is marked by an orange spell circle on the floor. Staying close to the meteor as it drops will inflict periodic fire damage. If you are caught within the meteor's explosion when it lands, you will most likely be killed instantly.
• Summons multiple smaller meteors consecutively. Landing zones are marked by orange spell circles.
• Gains Super Armor when casting spells.
• May cast Phase Shift to teleport out of attacks.

Strategy

• The main obstacle in this boss fight is the huge mob that Isadora spawns with: Concentrate on killing her minions first. This will make the fight alot easier.
• Isadora has various text bubbles and voice warnings when she casts her spells. Use these to help you predict and dodge her attacks.
• Ignore her summons and focus on attacking her: She will eventually get rid of her summons with Spirit Explosion. Pay attention and dodge when she casts it.
• Use grabs often, as grabs cancel her Super Armor and prevents her from Phase Shifting out of your attacks.
• Keep Isadora in the air as long as possible. She cannot Phase Shift while in mid-air.
• If she gets the chance to cast her meteor spell, immediately run for the opposite side of the room. The meteor can instantly kill you if you're caught in the landing blast.

Notes / Oddities

Isadora's physical attacks can inflict a variety of abnormal status effects, including Blind, Electrocution, Burn and Poison.
