Field Commander Babylon leads the Kartel forces on the Ghent Battlefield

History

Before joining the Kartel, Babylon was a noble of Ghent. At some point, he became disillusioned with the nobility and their lack of action against the rising threat, and soon defected to help bring down his former home.

When the Adventurer arrives on the Ghent Battlefield, Babylon quickly identifies them from a distance. Babylon informs the adventurer that he was well aware that they were a decoy, and that the Kartel forces were already mobilizing to intercept the Empyrean army. Undeterred, the adventurer continues to pursue Babylon and eventually defeats the commander after working alongside Zeldine Schneider.

Personality

Unlike most of the Kartel forces, Babylon does not engage the adventurer immediately, preferring to operate from the sidelines until direct intervention is necessary. He also seems quick to insult and taunt anything that annoys him, such as calling Gizel's machines junk. He also compares the adventurer to a rat and threatens to throw their dead body before the Empyrean army. Despite his callous attitude, Babylon seems to take his defeat in grace, remarking that it was a painful loss.

Move List

• Often deploys EX-S Vipers, along with with RX-78 Land Runners, along with the occasional Mech Drop.

• Uses Mach Kick at close range

• Uses Steyr AMR and Laser Rifle

• Despite being a Mechanic, Babylon can activate the Launcher's Awakening skill; Satellite Beam.
