Lore

Prey-Isys Raid Lore:

Eike was always happy. He loved prancing across the golden fields with his friends. Everyone loved him as he loved everyone. But then, the sky turned purple. The great being that caressed him disappeared into the sky.

The golden fields that were his playground disappeared, and the pure spring water that quenched his thirst turned black. Everyone who he loved was sad. So was he. He was no longer happy in this new world. Every day he was sad... until he wasn't. The golden fields didn't return.

The spring water was still black. But the great being that loved him so much had returned. He may have looked and sounded different, but his touch felt the same. Eike, his body darkened by his touch, shed dark tears in happiness.

Move Set

  • Lighting Strikes: Eike's only attack pattern. He'll summons several lighting bolts through out the area that deals moderate damage. A red circle will also randomly appear below the player's feet where those bolts will appear in their path.
  • Teleport: Eike will often teleport around the area and becomes invulnerable during this.
  • Feather Pluck: Eike's main pattern plays out very similar to Cosmo Fiend: Rosen's Planet Phases. Each time his HP is depleted to 0, he'll "die" as the screens flashes a specific color and a black feather will land on the floor around 7 times as this pattern plays a role in Feather Pick-up.
  • Feather Pick-up: Once all 7 feathers are plucked, Eike will teleport to the area's upper top section and in order to get him in his groggy phase, those 7 feathers must be collected by any party member before the timer gauge below fills up. The screen turns dark and those feathers will flash different colors going in a specific non-random order from; Red < Orange < Yellow < Green < Blue < Indigo < Purple. If the order is done successfully, Eike enters his groggy state for 20 seconds.
  • Berserk
    • Room-Wide Lightning: If party members failed to gather all 7 feathers within' the time limit, or if they go out of order and get petrified by the lightning strikes around that same number, Eike will perform a roomwide party-wipe attack that'll kill everyone.

Strategy

  • Eike of the Slenikon Defense/Intercept Trio isn't very difficult either, but quite time consuming due to his constant usage of Teleport and Lighting Strikes.
  • During Feather Pick-up, it's recommended to have the feathers scattered out so they don't become clumped in with the others.
  • The triangles that are on top of the feathers is suited for players who happen to be colorblind.
  • Be careful not to waste your skills on Eike when he uses Teleport.
  • Eike is not particularly difficult to kill once groggy, so the Crusader/Enchantress may wish to deploy Apocalypse (Male Crusader).png Apocalypse/Crux of Victoria.png Crux of Victoria/Marionette (Enchantress).png Marionette early to speed up the Feather Pluck pattern.
