Old Hag in the Dream
Contents
Description
Old Hag, a colloquial name for sleep paralysis,
is the strongest of all nightmares that protect Sirocco's subconscious.
While the resurrected Sirocco represents her life instincts,
this Old Hag is the personification of her death instincts. She hides deep inside her mind
and dishes out terrible nightmares to intruders to keep them at bay.
Lore
Lore Excerpt:
Hush, little baby. Forget your nightmares, and come here and sleep. Don't be afraid. I can see you.
This is an artificial world of immateriality. Its dense net will tighten around you, the more you thrash. Baby, she's here. She'll watch you scream in fear, writhe in futile attempts to escape, and slowly exhaust yourself to death.
Hush, little baby. Just close your eyes. I'll cry for you. I'll let my tears sweep away the tragedy that's been following you. So, hush. Be still. Listen to that sound of eternal rest that's been prepared for you. Yes, Death is coming.

Move Set
- Green Tornado: Old Hag targets one player to summon a large Green Tornado that tracks them down, functioning like Monk's former Twister of Judgement, but deals a heavy amout of multi-hit damage and can pull players over to the middle.
- Wave of Sight: It'll send out a red shockwave that's able to inflict a stun status.
- Purple Eye Drop: Any of Old Hag's eyes shoots out a eye drop that slowly lands on the ground and turns into a puddle.
- Green Flamethrower: Old Hag launches out a green flamethrower from it's mouth in the middle section, getting hit by it can deal continous burn damage.
- Berserk
- Inescapable Inferno: Similar to Isys' Day version of My wind shall cleave the sky!, Old Hag begins suctioning in everyone in the middle section with green flames generating on the floor around it that slowly move forward and those flames can inflict heavy burn damage upon contact.
- Inescapable Terror: The screen flashes and Old Hag's four eyes attempt to target everyone by firing out red lasers at them. In order to get Old Hag into it's groggy time, players are required to take advantage of the Purple Eye Drop floor puddles and have that laser bounce back at the eyes. If this is done successfully, Old Hag will enter it's groggy time.
Strategy
- Old Hag in the Dream is a fairly straightforward boss fight, however it's attack patterns can be extremely fatal if party members do not pay attention to their surroundings, as Bullet Time can be very useful slow down Old Hag's patterns during either berserk.
- Clearing Altered Hall of Subconsciousness results in disrupting Sirocco's Illusion boss fight and puts her in a groggy state.
- For Inescapable Inferno:
- Classes who have invicibility frames in their skills can easily avoid either the Green Tornado or ground flames.
- Buffer classes can also cast their respective healling skills Healing Wind/ Regenerative Aria/ First Aid of Love to keep their party's HP intact while they attack the boss.
- Most parties tend to ignore Old Hag's patterns to just burst it down on entry, so have the Buffers deploy their respective skills Apocalypse/ Final Judgment, Crux of Victoria/ Laus di Angelus, Marionette/ Curtain Call.
