Black Purgatory Lore:
"Huff, huff..."
Perhaps it was an instinct in all prey.
The soldier couldn't stop looking back, even though he knew he shouldn't.
The moon was nothing but a faint halo, mostly swallowed by the dark clouds.
Under its dim light, the soldier caught a glance at the gleaming white teeth of the Imposters who were hot on his heels.
He no longer heard the others who started running with him.
At the moment, he wasn't thinking about his prince's safety or even his own.
He had slowed down, enough for these Imposters to catch up with him.
Why haven't they done that already?
When he was finally near his advance party that had escaped earlier than him, he realized why.
The Imposters had stopped following him.
He forced his stiff neck to turn and look back.
There was nothing but complete darkness.
A strangely elongated shadow stood, looking down at him with contempt.
A part of it squirmed and turned into a raised fist.
As if to say goodbye, it slammed itself down onto the soldier's helm.

History
As an Enemy
- Jett makes his debut in the Black Purgatory dungeons as a Named Monster encountered in Graveyard of Terror and sometimes as a boss during the weekly version. He makes a second appearance in Ozma of Chaos Raid as Lunatic Darkness Jett.
Move Set
- Clash Slash: Jett does a basic clash slash attack within a wide arc.
- Dark Tentacles: Jett can pierce the ground by unleashing a wave of dark energy spikes.
- Divided Darkness: Jett can create a clone of himself to perform similar patterns, destroying the clone causes a short 5 second groggy time.
- Pounce: Jett targets a player's location and jumps at their location to attack.
- Darkness Release: Identical to Heart Destroyer Ricardo's Power Runaway in Pandemonium War, Jett goes in the middle as he stabs the ground with his tentacles as he begins launching out a series of dark energy spikes that goes in multiple directions, then he'll end the pattern by unleashing an AoE explosion. If anyone is caught by the spikes, they'll receive damage at the pattern's end.
- Trap & Rescue: Jett immediately captures three party members with his tentacle claws, except for one player. The non-trapped member will have a violet circle below them and to cancel out this pattern, they must head over to a trapped member that has a purple light pillar around them and stand on that pillar for a few seconds to free that member before a time limit gauge fills up as Jett will go groggy if everyone is freed.
- Ground Burst: Jett goes airbone to drop drop various Dark Meteors across the map, all party members should stay within the green barrier that's randomly placed around the map as a safe-zone to avoid being fatally damaged.
- Berserk:
- Summon Dark Orb: A similar setup to Tra and Tana's Play Ball and around reaching 40% of his HP, Jett moves to the middle section as he summons a large dark orb above him surrounded by a circle. In order to successfully clear this pattern, one party member is required to stay on a smaller violet circle that has a red line connected to it. Once stepped in, another red line generates toward a second party member which can be used to cross Jett. When the time gauge below fills, Jett's clone will appear at the starting red line charging at Player 1's direction and they must immediately counter hit it to follow the second red line coliding into the real Jett, causing a groggy if done correctly.
Strategy
- With plenty of fatal attack patterns at his disposal, Jett of the Black Order Follower Trio can be considered rather annoying, unpredictable and much harder than Despero which requires cooperation to clear his boss fight.
- Take advantage of the short groggy when destroying his clone.
- Depending on the strength of your party members, Black Purgatory's route chosen and alongside obtaining specific buffs through rescued APCs or defeated Black Order Followers, have the Crusader/Enchantress deploy their Apocalypse/ Final Judgment, Crux of Victoria/ Laus di Angelus, Marionette/ Curtain Call and use your strongest skills upon entry into his boss room and get Jett into least 40% to proc his main berserk.
- Do not wait until the last minute to use Awakenings as Jett can easily cancel out your skills with Trap & Rescue right away.
- If you don't counter Jett's clone during Summon Dark Orb, it is a automatic failure and party-wipe.
