- Availability: White Cloud Valley is opened all year round; it can be entered once a week per character. However, doing additional entries will require a White Ocean Advanced Dungeon Ticket. This shares the same weekly counts with Solidaris.
- Player Amount: Can be optionally played solo, or with a party comprised of 2 ~ 4 players.
- Quest Needed: Clear the quest [Ready to Go to Dusky Island] to gain access to the Advanced Dungeon.
- Area Buff: Mist of Remembrance will be added.
- Time Limit: 30 Minutes.
- Speak with Elder Luton to create a White Cloud Valley lobby. Once everything is finalized, talk with Luton again to begin entering the dungeon.
Restrictions
- Like with several Advanced Dungeons, you are given 30 minutes as a time limit to clear White Cloud Valley, or the run is considered a failure once time runs out.
- You can only obtain 40 Dim Floating Stones once per clear, this count will reset during Tuesdays at 9:00 UTC.
- Puppet-related items from Animator cannot be used.
- 4 Life Tokens are given by default and shared with party members, these can be replenished upon defeating Named or Boss monsters.
- Your current Skill Cooldowns will not be reset upon reviving.
- If choosing to retreat from the White Cloud Valley, this places everyone under a recovery time limit and cannot re-enter until it reaches zero.
- Selecting Abandon Mission counts as an automatic forfeit, and any Fatigue Points or Admission Tickets that were used, will not be replenished.
Gameplay & Progression
Upon entering White Cloud Valley either as a solo player or party of 2 ~ 4 members, there is a central hub area that consists of rooms containing Shume, the Keeper of the Land, and White Cloud Watchmen members as boss fights, including their leader Elder Luton. However, some bosses cannot be confronted easily, as their rooms are locked out behind a progress bar that's located on your HUD's Status Board, which begins at 0%. To fill up this bar, you must either face off against the Watchmen in their respective available rooms one-by-one, or successfully clear Emergency Operations to increase it overtime. When filling the Progress Bar to a specific halfway percentage (around 50%), Largo will always invade the map to battle which cannot be skipped over.
Depending on which difficulty you're running, only a certain amount of bosses (albeit randomized) are available to battle, playing on Master difficulty will have every Watchmen boss appear instead. Once progress has reached 100%, Elder Luton is now available as a final boss fight, defeating him ends your current White Cloud Valley run.
Mist Collector
- By pressing the TAB key, you can pick up a special object only exclusive to the content, called a Mist Collector that follows the wielder, and is able to absorb Mist Energy through defeating Normal Mobs or fighting bosses while they're performing attack patterns. When the Collector fills to 100%, you can place it down on the ground with TAB to unleash a blast that greatly shreds a Boss's Neutralize Gauge.
Emergency Operation
Optionally, you can do one of two Emergency Operations that are presented in White Cloud Valley that are either; Subduing Normal Mobs or defeating Bosses that offers 70 Mist Energy towards your collector each time these are successfully cleared.
