Description
Superalloy Alligare is one of four Advancing Fiend Units during Fiend War whose body is nigh-impenetrable. His chances of appearing are quite low, unlike the normal Fiends.
Move Set
"You all shall fall..."
- Flamestorm: Superalloy slams his totem into the ground, summoning a huge flamestorm around himself. If players are nearby when he slams the ground, they’ll be knocked down or receive Stun (Status). Use and hold Quick Rebound immediately because there’s a high chance that someone will die from this afterwards.
- Totem Sweep: Superalloy charges up his totem, turns red, and sweeps in front of himself. This attack has very long range, both horizontal and vertical, so be careful not to stand in front of him as this deals heavy damage.
- Totem Ground Slam: Superalloy slams the ground in front of him with the totem, and the slam creates a crack in the ground that causes an explosion. The explosion has a very high chance of killing anyone caught in the attack.
- Ground Stomp: Superalloy lifts up his leg and starts charging it, turns red and then slams it into the ground.
- Triple Slam: Superalloy slams the ground below him with the totem as each slam knocks players down and increases the radius of that attack.
Strategy
- Superalloy can be seen as a more tougher and dangerous version of Darksteel to some extent as he not only boasts high HP, but his defenses are also a problem for players who are considered undergeared if they come across him in Group Raid.
- All of his attack patterns are easily telegraphed, but wait for Flamestorm or Totem Ground Slam to finish and this leaves him vulnerable in a counter damage state.
- Have Crusader/Enchantress deploy Apocalypse/ Crux of Victoria/ Marionette and use your strongest skills to take him down as long as he's in an after-pattern state.
- If your party needs a damage increase, let the Crusader/Enchantress hard reset (die and revive with Life Token), rebuff and deploy their awakenings again.
- Don't ever let any other Advance Fiend Unit enter your sector during Superalloy's fight as this will increase his stats, making the encounter even more difficult.
Appearances
- Fiend War (Boss)
Trivia
- Alloy is a combination of metals or a combination of one or more metals with non-metallic elements. It is also latin for alligo which means to bind, to keep together befitting Superalloy's appearance.
- Superalloy seems to be very similar to Darksteel in some aspects.
- Both carry a totem around.
- Wield high defenses.
- Attacks with very powerful close-range melee moves.
