GBL Goddess Temple

Behemoth carries the temple of the ancient Goddess Venus. Leslie Bagrans first discovered one of the oldest buildings in history, believed to be a work of the Humans of the ancient civilization that once prospered on Behemoth. Their ceremonial dresses depicted in the murals in the goddess's temple have inspired the GBL's masks and dresses. Some time ago, a group of GBL followers went into the temple and never came back. Marcellus, the leader of the Bloody Purge, followed suit in his attempt to find them. GBL Leader Ophelia asked you to investigate the temple. You broke through the ward around the temple and entered inside, only to learn that the missing GBL followers were now deformed, deranged monsters. "Oh, no! Some wicked force must have tainted the grace of Goddess Venus. Now her grace is a deadly curse." You asked if she knew about the corrupting force. Ophelia shook her head, her downcast eyelashes trembling with fear.

Briefing	Ophelia: "How strange! Numorous ancient sites exist on top of Behemoth, and only two of them are shaped like temples. One belongs to an ancient god named Philis, but you must never enter it. Shortly after the occurrence of the Great Metastasis, a giant evil creature appeared on Behemoth. That monster controlled the minds of many followers and tried to sink Behemoth into the ocean. His appearance was foretold in the prophetic book of my order. My followers and I sealed it away with our magical power. The evil creature, Lotus, is capable of controlling minds, so steer clear of Philis's temple for your safety. The other temple belongs to another goddess, Venus. It's long been a research subject for my order. Recently, a group of followers entered the temple days ago, but they haven't returned. Marcellus went in to find them, only to go missing as well. I'm worried for their safety. <Player>. Would you enter the temple and check the situation? Destroy Goddess Venus's statue, and that'll lift the ward around the entrance to her temple."
