Demonize.png

Transforms you into a powerful demon with increased stats. Provides access to new skills and boosts effects of various skills.

  • Skill Level Interval:Every 5 levels
  • SP Cost: Free
  • Casting Time: Instant
  • Cooldown: 200.0 seconds
  • This skill consumes 5 clear cube fragments.
  • Manual Input savings:
    • MP -4.0%
    • Cooldown -2.0%
  • Duration: 50 seconds
  • Devil Strike is disabled in this form.
  • In this form, the Avenger is immune to status ailments, such as stuns, grabs, bleed, poison, etc. However, he is still vulnerable to very specific situations, such as Luminous Anodron's gimmick in Altar of Ascension.
  • The Avenger is not immune to damage in this state. Reaching 0 HP while in Demonize immediately transforms him back to normal with 1 HP remaining.
    • The Avenger also has a larger hitbox in this form, which may cause him to take more damage than his normal state.
  • Gain the following new attacks
    • Dark Slasher - C.png - Charge up your claw. Reduces Magic Resist of enemies hit.
    • Demon Guard - Z.png - Put up a barrier around you that reduces damage you take by 90%. You cannot move during this skill.
    • Execution - Leftkey.pngRightkey.pngZ.png - Consume 10 DF and grab an enemy, dragging them along the ground before throwing them into the air. Distance can be altered shortly before the grab starts. Can be used in Metamorphosis.
      • If Execution hits an enemy that cannot be grabbed or is currently frozen, it will instead cause an explosion at the impact without moving the target for roughly the same damage similar to Grab Cannon.
  • While in the Demonize status:
    • The first basic attack will only move the Avenger slightly forward, the rest keep him in place.
    • Jumping is disabled.
    • Dash attacks move the Avenger forward at a much further distance, hitting enemies multiple times.
    • All non-Avenger abilities (with the exception of buffs such as Wisdom Blessing) are disabled.
    • Furious Grab has slightly more reach.
    • Thunder Mine becomes much larger and hits more than 3 times.
    • Spin Cutter becomes larger and can no longer be left in place.
    • Thorn of Protection becomes a super hold, is much larger, and hits enemies twice, once by the thorns and again with an explosion, both doing identical damage. The cooldown is also increased if used during Demonize.
    • Spinning Deformation no longer turns the Avenger into a sawblade; instead causes him to quickly lunge forward with a multi-hit charge attack.
    • Dark Authority charges Dark Slasher during the skill, ending with both the claw attack and the crystal explosion.
  • Level 3 Bonus: Movement Speed, Attack Speed, Defense, and HP bonuses in Demonize are increased.
  • Level 6 Bonus: Dark Slasher always achieve the max Atk. [sic.]
  • Level 9 Bonus: Transforming into a demon resets the cooldown for Pandemonium and Disaster
