Sharan The energy that grows children into adults. The energy you get from food and sleep. We call it the vital force. Sir mage, you're incapable of regenerating the vital force. You have to rely on others' blood to live and use magic, and I don't want you to grow used to taking other people's lives for your own existence. I helped you because I trust you, but I need you to reassure me one last time. Vampire magic is frowned upon because those who use it often get carried away by the intoxicating effects of blood and commit atrocities. Promise me that you won't hurt the innocent. You need this restraint not to lose your humanity.

Sharan Bloodseekers rely on others' blood to stay in existence. The magic that they use go against the natural flow of mana, and yet it requires the most intensive knowledge in life for its application than any other type of magic does. Continue to think about life, a force that cannot be solved, even by magic. Don't stop thinking about it, for your own sake. The moment you do, you will degenerate into a monster.
