K, the Watcher in the Night, or simply K is one of many Shepherds that are associated with the Black Order. Originally human, he once lived a peaceful life with his family until they were killed in a fire by the De Los Empire and swore revenge up on them by becoming a Imposter himself after being saved by Midnight's Darkness.

Lore
The Exile Mountains Lore Exercpt:
I tearfully begged you not to kill my father. I screamed not to punish those children. You said we all had to make sacrifices to eradicate the Imposters. You said it was inevitable, to punish evil. To me, you were evil.
Does your god really exist? Because if he did, he would never have let you be so cruel to others. He would never have let my father, who had been an honest man his entire life, be burned to death along with those young innocent children, right before my eyes. I stopped praying after there was nothing but their ashes. I started hating man, hating the gods. I only wanted to die. Then, He sent His messenger to me. "The gods will continue to take away those you love unless you do something about them. If you want true redemption, follow me." That day, I turned to Him.
Man was evil. The weak were helpless. None of the gods answered my prayers. That day, I lost everything to the fire and died along with it. Now, I'm reborn. Now, my name is K. K, the Watcher in the Night. I'll use this power that you abhor to save others that have been suffering at your hands. I'll punish your evil with my evil.

Character Biography:
Male/Early 20s.
K used to live in a bordering helmet of the Empire with his disabled father. He was curt and inflexible, but also kind and responsible. He even took some orphans under his wing.
One day, someone reported that Imposters showed up in his village. The Imperial Army barged in, and soon his village turned into a battleground between Imposters and the human army.
K evacuated with his father and children into a forest. The Imperial Army set the place on fire, in case Imposters were hiding there. K helplessly watched as his family died of smoke inhalation, and his heartrending screams reached Midnight's Darkness.
Midnight's Darkness appeared and saved K, but it was too late for his family. K was left with nothing but hatred and anger. Midnight's Darkness suggested he join the Cult of Darkness for the power to protect those he loved.
K agreed. He accepted the false stigma and became an Imposter.

History
As an Enemy (Exile Mountains)
K makes his first appearance inside the Exile Mountains as a end boss to Night of Chaos.
Move Set
Black Sheep's Ritual: Upon entering his boss room, K transforms as he begins summoning five statues engraved with symbols around him, one in the middle and four in each corner. To successfully clear this pattern, either one or two party members can coordinate with each other by performing a [Ritual Modification] where they must pair the middle statue's symbol with one in a matching corner four times in total before a timer gauge below empties out. If this is done correctly, K enters a groggy state with his defenses lowered. Failure to meet those requirements results in K performing a fatal AoE party wipe.
Magic Tentacles: After his groggy time ends, K can summon magic tentacles to pull in players to damage them, these can be destroyed while being summoned.
Cult's Halidom: K summons two halidoms on both sides of the room alongside gold circles on the floor with a random symbol that was seen on the statues during Black Sheep's Ritual. Around this pattern, a dark fog encroaches the floor as stepping into it damages anyone. To clear this pattern, all party members are required to stay on a circle that matches the Halidom next to them which activates a [Cult's Halidom Translation] timer gauge that'll reactivate the Halidom once that gauge is filled, then K will send out his shadow to interfere with it, this can be interrupted twice when K's shadow does a eye flash motion before he atacks. Then another pair of gold circles are summoned next to the opposite Halidom as everyone will need to move over there and repeat the same process, minus K's shadow. Once the second Halidom is done translating successfully, this activate K's groggy state.
Strategy
- K's boss fight can be described as simple and straight-foward since most parties tend to ignore most of his patterns afterwards.
- For Black Sheep's Ritual:
- It's reccommended that either one or two players can take turns matching the statue symbols while the other two party members can focus on attacking K.
- If you get a Ritual Modification, do not wander around the room as this can waste time or cause frustration during a Exiles run.
- Do not block the symbols when players are clearing the pattern.
- He does not have any invincibilty frames or Berserk during his patterns, and depending on the party's overall strength, K can be easily be dispatched of after his main pattern is finished, so have the Crusader/Enchantress to deploy their
