[TP] The Ring of Combat 1/5

Level 50
Quest Giver Chobung
Briefing Chobung: "Thank you for coming. I've been watching you, and I can tell you're an impressive fighter. How'd you like to pit your fighting skills against others'? If you're interested, then come to me. I'll show you the way to the Arena."
Objectives Talk to Chobung.
  • Meet Chobung: 0/1
Upon Completion Chobung: "Welcome. Now you can access the Arena by talking to me or using the menu that appears when you press Esc. Oh, please don't go just yet--I have something else to tell you."

  • Goldicon.png Scales with Level Gold

[TP] The Ring of Combat 2/5

Level 50
Quest Giver Chobung
Briefing Chobung: "I suggest you prepare yourself before entering the Arena. Sizki, Wind Fist Master Instructor Pungjin's sister, is an expert in dueling. You should go to her."
Objectives Move to the Rank Arena Square and talk to Sizki. (You can access the Rank Arena Square by talking to Chobung or by selecting Arena (hotkey: P) in the Esc menu. This quest cannot be completed in the Practice.)
  • Meet Sizki: 0/1
Upon Completion Sizki: "Hello. Yes, I'm Sizki. Oh, you're the adventurer Chobung said she would send to me. Hm... I trust Chobung, but different rules are applied to fighting in the Arena and fighting monsters. Great adventurers don't always mean great duelists."
Rewards

[TP] The Ring of Combat 3/5

Level 50
Quest Giver Sizki
Briefing Sizki: "There are some things you have to know before entering the Arena. In there, you can use only certain skills and they may work differently. That can throw you off if you're not prepared. It'll take too long for me to explain every little detail. Why don't you experience it on your own? Open the Skill window (K) and select Auto Allocate. You'll automatically learn the basic Arena skills. Start fighting and practice combo attacks that help you finish your opponents quickly. When you're done practicing, fight and beat the opponent I've arranged for you."
Objectives Open the Skill window (K) and click Auto Allocate to learn skills. Press the Start Training button. Succeed in combo attacks and subdue enemies.
  • Open the Skill window (K) in the Dojo and use Auto Allocate.: 0/1
  • Succeed in combo attacks.: 0/1
  • Subdue all the enemies you encounter during the Training.: 0/1
Upon Completion Sizki: "I can see why Chobung thinks so highly of you."

Objectives Press Start Training and beat an opponent.
  • Subdue all the enemies you encounter during the Training.: 0/1
Upon Completion Sizki: "You're incredible. I've never seen anyone learn as quickly as you do. ...Ah, if only they focused on their training as much as you did, then they wouldn't have made such a stupid mistake..."

[TP] The Ring of Combat 5/5

Level 50
Quest Giver Sizki
Briefing Sizki: "I had students before I met you. At first, they were enthusiastic about fighting, but they couldn't improve themselves as quickly as they wanted. Soon they started looking for a way to cheat. I should've known... I just thought they'd come around. Eventually they ran away with a secret textbook while I was away. I felt responsible for their transgression, so I haven't been able to bring myself to demand the return of the book. You want to retrieve it for me? Please don't. There are many of them, and they're more familiar with fighting in the Arena than you are. They'll do anything to beat you. Sigh, you're stubborn. If you really have to go, then let me release the restriction on learning Advenced skills for you. You can now learn Advanced skills if you open the Skill window and press Auto Allocate. Please come back safely."
Objectives Open the Skill window (K) and click Auto Allocate to learn skills. Press the Start Training button. Succeed in combo attacks, subdue enemies, and retrieve textbooks.
  • Open the Skill window (K) in the Dojo and use Auto Allocate.: 0/1
  • Succeed in advanced combo attacks.: 0/1
Upon Completion Sizki: "This textbook made them strong, but they weren't good enough to master its content. They don't deserve it, anyway. What happened to them, they had it coming. Only adventurers like you who are passionate about fighting and practice with diligence deserve to learn what's written in this textbook. Read it and awaken powers that lie dormant in you. I'll see you can freely enter the Arena from now on. Feel free to come and practice. You have the power to change the Arena. I'll be here watching you grow. Keep up the good work."
