Transcendents (Korean: 초월자 choweolja), also referred to as the Transcended, are four all-powerful beings who were created at the Dawn of Creation by the Great Will to aid in the protection of the universe and the maintenance of law and order within his creation. However, following the Great Will's disappearance in the aftermath of the Clash of the Gods and the formation of the Great Crack, the Transcendents currently manage the universe in his stead.

Unlike Gods, who have multiple variations across the Multiverse and are restricted to their respective universes, Transcendents are singular entities and are able to transcend Planes. But despite their seemingly limitless power, they are unable to directly interfere within the Planes. As such, they use conduits to house their power and enact their will.

Notable Members

Much information regarding the Transcendents remains unclear. Of the little known information, some speculate that the Evil God Aten is a member of their ranks. Additionally, according to the DNF 15th Anniversary Artbook, the Planet Terra is said to have been named after one of these Transcendents.
