Trauma Yom is the leader of the Kashipa's Top Looting Unit 'Ya-ma', and appears to be able to control a shadow monster. In addition to the Royal Casino, he also runs an underground Fight Club, both of which are located in Harlem. It is later revealed that he is Healer Soniar's lover.

It is not an exaggeration to say that this splendid castle built up by Yom’s know-how is the place where all the wealth in Pandemonium has collected.

Gamblers gather here with a variety of commodities, even bodies, to bet everything they own.

After a few thrilling challenges and joys, most gamblers fall into the same demise. It's considered a grace if they could enter into servitude. Miserable debtors who didn't get even that chance are guided to a room deep in the casino.

This is where they end. At a forced funeral hosted by Yom, they are deprived of the right to live by a shadow as dark as their life.

The screams of those who did not anticipate such an end will soon be met by silence, but another victim follows.

Yom enjoys listening to their screams with a drink. Enjoying every little bit of it until the end.

History

Trauma Yom is a member of the Gremlins who beyond the limits of his race, became the world's richest man in Harlem that has accumulated tremendous wealth through his outstanding talents and later became part of Kashipa's ranks having his own looting unit 'Ya-ma'. It was around that time that he managed to capture and take control of a mysterious shadow monster named Garum that he kept as a pet.

When the mysterious flame crash landed from Harlem's sky into Dark City, Heart Destroyer Ricardo recovers it and hands it over to Yom since he didn't know about the identity and due to it's immense energy, Yom wanted it all for himself. Silver Light Tagor speaks of him during her conversation with the Adventurer when she offers them info on the flame in exchange of joining forces to overthrow Yom and wants Royal Casino.

When the Adventurer returns to Border Town, they come across The Valdes Brothers who are Yom's messengers that are sent out to bring them to their boss for reasons unknown. After the events surrounding District 9, the Adventurer and their group finally reach the Casino and meet Yom for the first time. He takes quite an interest towards the Adventurer, asking them if they want to participate in a underground Tournament called Fight Club, but they refuse to join as Pai brings up the flame from before.

Yom explains the reason to join is because that flame turns out to be the Grand Prize for winning. While discussing negotiations, Dealer Elonse screams as the Adventurer being accompanied by Yom, Ceberin and Pai check for themselves as she's being chased by Demon Sworder Chermak only to have Yom bring out Garum and it eats him, then Tagor arrives and she breaks off the beast's shackles, transforms into a Pugnator and bombards Yom with numerous attacks that presumably kills him as she claims victory over the Casino.

But Yom was actually faking his death as Shadow grabs hold of Tagor underneath and reappears along with his lover, Healer Soniar scolding her for going too far trying to challenge him as Garum also eats Tagor. Afterwards, Yom fills out the Adventurer's application and asks them to wait for their match later on. While the Adventurer does eventually compete in Fight Club, they later listen to Yom and Soniar's conversation regarding the flame that turns out to be a Apostle's egg with the duo running off after being overheard.

As they argue, Soniar threatens to destroy the egg as Yom retaliates by killing her with Shadow. Then Ricardo speaks to Yom through voice and is aware of his plans while warning him that the Adventurer is here, making him freak out as he runs away with the egg. Now being accompanied by Cobb, the Adventurer seeks out Yom only to find a secret room in the Casino. Inside of it, there are corpses of Kashipa members who were killed by Garum on the floor as they confront Yom over the egg. Failing to keep the beast under control, Garum breaks free of the shackles and eats Yom, putting an end to the Casino owner.
