Lore

Prey-Isys Raid Lore:

Ahh... How can he be so amazing?

He must be the man of my dreams!

He's mine.

Mine alone.

I'll never let anyone else touch him.

From now on, he'll only exist for me!

One of Kashipa's labs in Nighttime Skyscraper was burned down to the ground.

The bodies of the researchers at the lab were found without the heads, and their research materials about demonology were burned with the rest of the lab.

The scythe that they stole from some demon also disappeared.

The investigators couldn't find out who did it or why.

The only thing that they had was the incoherent testimony of the only survivor.

"Greta... The demoness with the giant wings... Everyone's head... rolled on the ground..."

Move Set

  • Death Mark: Greta's main pattern. Upon entering the boss room, she will randomly target a party member with a sign on their body. Anyone who is marked by this sign, all of Greta's attacks will only focus on that player. During her fight, a My next murder! timer gauge will appear below which slowly fills up that activates her berserk pattern.
  • Rush: Greta rushes in a straight line to prepare her attack patterns towards that marked player.
  • Scythe Slash: Greta swings around her scythe to attack. This is used during Rush and she may swing three times in a row.
  • Scythe Blade: Similar to Scythe Slash, except that the scythe's blade is able to extend at a short distance.
  • Black Sphere Launch: Greta twirls around her scythe and launches around three Black Spheres in a front line.
  • Tracking Black Sphere: If the Death Mark player is hit by any of her patterns, she launch out a homing version of Black Sphere Launch. While it moves slowly and is quite harmless towards unmarked party members, the one who is marked receives fatal damage if they're hit by them.
  • Assassination: The unmarked members will be immobilized and takes damages equal to 70% of their max HP if the player with a Death Mark sign is killed during the fight, then Greta will repeat the pattern again towards someone else.
  • Berserk
    • Ground Explosion: In order to make Greta groggy, after the My next murder! gauge is filled and that marked player managed to survive, Greta pushes back party members, teleports to the room's center and begins to creates numerous demonic energy explosions that randomly around each player in a close proximity, dealing heavy damage. After this, Greta will enter her groggy phase for 20 seconds.

Strategy

  • Greta's boss fight requires a lot of concentration and coordination as she is quite fast with her hard-hitting attack patterns.
  • To the player who's received Death Mark, do your best to prevent being killed by Greta at all costs while the My next murder! gauge fills.
  • Unmarked players can focus attacking Greta using sustained skills and keep stronger ones saved for her groggy state.
  • When Greta gets ready to use Ground Explosion, have your entire party gather up and run in a clockwise faction going from 1'o clock to 10 'clock as this is highly recommended to dodge the explosions and avoid party wipes during Raid.
  • Once she becomes groggy, have the Crusader/Enchantress deploy Apocalypse (Male Crusader).png Apocalypse/Crux of Victoria.png Crux of Victoria/Marionette (Enchantress).png Marionette and kill Greta before she starts up her patterns again.

Quotes

  • Encounter
"Your death will be exquisitely painful!"
  • Ground Explosion
"No one can survive here!"

Trivia

  • Greta's dialogue in her lore suggests that she's displaying a yandere archtype, being highly obsessed with Isys while showing a deranged and violent side.
  • Her moniker during a loading screen when entering Void Tower is shown to be Maleficent which is an adjective for doing evil or harm as this too befits the demoness.
  • Although she has little to no backstory compared to various Raid bosses, it's implied that Greta was a former Kashipa researcher that became corrupted by Isys' power and is responsible for the lab's destruction.
  • She is one of three Raid bosses to have a Mistress-like motif, alongside Succubus Princess and Hanielle of Seduction.
