Westpiece, most commonly referred to as the Western Lawless Distict, is the largest of the four continental islands of Empyrean, located to the far southwest of Ispin. Despite the island's size, much of the land is unfit for agriculture, covered by two vast deserts. It is the farthest geographically from the Imperial Capital, and is the only island that is un-traversable by the Oceanic Express. Due to these factors, famine and isolation is commonplace, and has resulted in cultural decline. However, despite these disadvantages, its people still manage to survive. Currently, the island maintains two main cities, Heiz and Arden.

Due to its inhospitable terrain and lack of connection with the outside world, the island has become a den for criminal and outlaws. In recent years, a criminal organization known as the Kartel has taken over the entire island.

서부 무법지대 (West Lawless District) 이스핀 섬에서 남동쪽으로 멀리 떨어져 있는 커다란 섬. 헤이즈가 이곳의 가장 큰 도시다. 정식 명칭은 웨스피스이지만 낮춰 부르는 명칭인 서부 무법지대로 더 많이 불린다.(1) 천계에서 가장 큰 대륙이지만 중앙에 있는 갈라하 사막과 라이언 사막이 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 과거 해상열차를 만들 때 예측 거리가 미묘하게 어긋나 전차가 다니지 않게 되었는데, 이 때문에 다른 대륙과 큰 문화적 차이를 보인다. 초창기 바칼시대에 있었던 문화는 거의 사라지고 거친 무법자들이 이곳저곳에 흩어져 있다. 이튼 공업지대의 파워스테이션으로부터 전기 공급도 받지 못해 매우 빈곤하며 문화적으로도 상당히 낙후되어 있다. 문명의 혜택을 거의 받지 못한 데다가 치안을 유지할 제도조차 미비하기 때문에 주먹이 곧 법이 되는 곳이기도 하다. Its official name is Wespeace [sic], but it is more popularly known as its more derogatory name, the Western Lawless District.(1) Itis [sic] the biggest continent in Empyrean, but the Galaha and Lion Deserts in the center take up most of the land. During the construction of the Oceanic Express, its traveling distance to the Lawless District was incorrectly calculated, so the trains could not reach. This caused huge cultural differences between the other continents and the Lawless District. The original culture established during Bakal's reign is all but extinct, and rugged outlaws live scattered across this island. It is even excluded from the electricity supply from the Power Station in Etten Industrial, and so it culturally declined. Cut off from the benefits of civilization and with no police to maintain public peace, the Lawless District is purely operated by the principle of survival of the fittest. (1) It got its name because of the widespread looting caused by resource scarcity and poor environmental quality.

• Despite Westpiece's location shown on the in-game minimap, the game's lore settings states that the continent is located southeast of Ispin, not the southwest.
