Briefing | Woon: "Now that everyone is here, let me explain the situation. Anton is heading for the Sea of Twilight, covered in a thick, black smoke that is released from his body. This smoke is so thick, it's impossible to see through it, even with thermal imaging radar or ultrasonic waves."
Jakter: "What the hell is that smoke? Is it different from the one released from his volcano?" Naen: "Th-they're probably similar. O-or they could be the same thing released through a different route." Hiram: "Hm, then we can clear it by doing the same thing as before, right?" Jakter: "That's just a theory. We'd better check it first, and we must do it without alerting the enemy. Adventurer, could you help? Thanks. Colonel Lyonir, go show the Adventurer what kind of enemy this Anton is. Collect some samples of the smoke while you're at it." Woon: "Yes, sir. Adventurer, you'll lose your energy to Anton if you get close to him unprepared. Please wear this blocking device. We'll go when you're ready." |

Naen: "S-see, I t-told you. N-no matter h-how powerful Anton is, his body composition d-doesn't change, s-so we should- Err... S-sorry, I-I didn't mean to i-interrupt." Jakter: "Hah hah. Don't worry about it. You wanted to say we should get rid of those smoke-inducing minions, right?" Woon: "Just before we returned, we were approached by an enemy who had sensed our presence. I suspect he's the leader of the smoke-releasing Tartans." Jakter: "I see. Then the place he's guarding is where the black smoke is coming from. Captain Hiram, we can't wait until the smoke naturally dissipates. Go out with your unit and scatter it. Naen, help Captain Hiram." Naen: "O-okay. I-I can a-add the dissipating agent in the f-form of gas t-to the flamethrower cylinder. I-it m-might blow up, but since we d-don't have time-" Hiram: "Let's try something safer." Jakter: "Adventurer, I want you to stay nearby and keep enemies at bay." |

Briefing | Jakter: "Now we're ready to fight Anton. Now that the smoke that covered Anton's body has dissipated, it's time we stop Anton. He'll resist us, of course. While Anton was in the Power Station, we tried to break his legs several times, but all to no avail. We can't touch them, let alone shake them, without having Anton breathing fire at us. We've figured out Anton's fire-breathing pattern. We'll signal you, so you can evacuate the battlefield before it's engulfed in fire. Just make sure to get out of there without a moment's hesitation."
Hiram: "Got it. But as you know, that place is overrun with Anton's minions. We won't have time to get rid of them all." Jakter: "So Captain Hiram and his unit will distract them while the adventurer locates Anton's joint. When he signals us, we'll fire a missile at it. Huh? Can missiles damage Anton? Not normal missiles-Anton will just suck their energy dry. These missiles we're using this time contain magtonium, which has special properties. Colonel Lyonir, please explain." Woon: "Let me explain it to you, Adventurer. When a certain amount of magtonium is subjected to impact, it absorbs the surrounding energy for a few seconds, and then explodes with a power that's at least a few ten thousand times its mass. Its unique properties do not change, though for a limited amount of time, when it enters Anton's body. These missiles we're using this time rely on that principle, exploding as soon as Anton absorbs their energy." Jakter: "Yes. In other words, he'll be damaging himself with his own energy. Isn't that awesome? Then you'd better get ready. This operation cannot fail. Adventurer, I'll count on you." |
