Subtrait Guide
Subtrait Selection Interface.
The Subtraits is a system introduced within the Season 8, Act.01 Seon update that allows players to select one of four different Trait categories that'll increase their character's abilities (Active/Passive/Buff Enhancement) inside of dungeon content through the usage of Trait options they can spend points to reinforce their Trait options such as; Overall Damage, Skill Cooldowns, Party Support, and an increase in
Adventurer Fame.
Prior to the Verge of Recollection patch's overhaul, this system was originally known as Equipment Trait which offered around six different categories that required spending
Gold,
Golden Beryls,
Pale Mists, alongside the Equipment Option Growth System on Level 110 Epic or Sacrosanct Area Equipment to accumulate a number of points they can spend specific Trait options that offer further enhancements. As of the Growth System's removal during Forest of Awakening, Subtrait Points are applied to all existing Seon equipment at maxed option levels.
To access Subtraits, visit either the Mystical Grimoire in Seria's room, or NPCs Kiri, Scholar Riki and Inventor "Sweetie" Tehiti where they offer the option to upgrade your entire Level 105 Epic Equipment set (Weapons, Armor, Accessories & Specials) into their Level 110 versions with a Seon prefix by spending 200,000
Gold and 300
Golden Beryls per upgrade each, while Sacrosanct Area Legendary Equipment must have their options around Lv.61 or higher. Upon successfully reaching those requirements, you'll begin receiving Trait Points.
A total of 1300 Points can be used to upgrade your Trait Options per level.
Restrictions
- You can only have one Trait, switching to another one will reset your points upon doing so when saving it.
- Each Subtrait has their own separate branching options to choose from, so if you pick Onslaught's Rush Trait branch, this locks you out from spending any points on the Raid Traits unless there is a reset involved.
