Black Purgatory Exerpt:

The pulverized rock flows down from my clutched fists. Every time I stomp my feet, the ground cracks and screams. I have the power of destruction.

But this isn't enough. It's no way near enough to get me what I want. I don't care if I reach the pinnacle of my art. Or free myself from worries and restraints and enter the path of the Sura.

I want to save humanity and guide it to the Western Paradise! That's my only mission and reason for existence. I'm ready for any criticism from the foolish people who can't see the forest for the trees.

When Chaos descends again, my mission will be finally completed. I'll save humanity with my own hands.

Move Set

• Triple Combo: Banya at close range delivers two punches, then either ends it with a AoE double fist slam or a targeting shoulder tackle that's identical with Female Striker's  Mountain Pusher.

• Black & White Lightning: Lightning bolts can periodically strike down during some of his patterns and is able to quickly drain HP upon hit.

• Energy Explosion: Banya charges up to deliver a close ranged AoE explosion with lightning bolts striking downwards.

• Taowu - Lion's Roar: Banya summons Taowu with a stamina bar that jumps around the map roaring to create a roomwide shockwave that can be jumped over, while Banya himself charges up at players to dash punch or stomp at them, showing a red line on the ground where he'll target. To successfully clear the pattern, party members should focus on depleting Taowu's stamina first to stun it, then stay behind it and draw Banya into charging at them and if he comes into contact with his Shikigami, he'll be groggy for a few seconds. The pattern's setup is very similar to either Wordsworth's Pursuit Charge or Lava Monster Worm's Triple Charge. Failing to stun Taowu results in it causing a room-wide roar.

• Qiongqi - Red Tornadoes: Banya summons Qiongqi and starts planting red clouds across the floor underneath players' feet that spawns into a tornado covering parts of the room, then he'll finish off with a screen-wide punch that's lethal enough to instantly kill anyone if they're in his direction.

• Hundun & Qiongqi - Tornadoes & Lightning: Banya summons both Shikigami with Qiongqi first creating red clouds, while Hundun begins suctioning everyone towards it's direction including those red clouds following them underneath. Once Hundun bites down, that'll cause those red clouds to spawn into tornadoes to appear alongside lightning bolts in a total of three times.

• Taotie - Roomwide Dash: With a similar setup like Beastmaster Marcelo's Black Tortoise Power! in Sirocco Raid, Banya and Taotie do two opposite X-axis dash attacks with the former leaving Black & White Lightning bolts striking down, then he targets the middle section with a downwards strike.

• Berserk:
  • World of Red Dreams: Banya gets into the middle section and summons a huge orb above him alongside four colored orbs that represent his Shikigami, then he'll start using their attacks as a casting gauge below slowy fills up. In order to successfully clear this berserk pattern, all party members must coordinate by watching Banya using attacks that corresponds to that orb's color and push them into a white pentacle three times in total. If the order is done correctly each, this causes Banya to enter his fully groggy time.

Upon failure if the casting gauge is full, Banya does a roomwide party-wipe.

Strategy

• Bloodlust Banya of the Black Order Follower Trio is essentially a far more powerful version of his Exiles' boss fight in Black Purgatory, possessing more AoE-specific attacks that can easily kill party members.
• Watch for the indicator on where Banya gets ready to perform his punch during Qiongqi - Red Tornadoes as this can result in some major casualties if not avoided.
• For World of Red Dreams:
  • Do not pay attention to the middle orb above him, instead only watch the screen where Banya summons an attack during these three phases ranging from:
  • Taowu - Shockwave
  • Qiongqi - Red Tornado
  • Hundun - Suction
  • Taotie - Dash
  • Example: If Taowu's Shockwave is seen first, Hundun's Suction second and Qiongqi's Tornadoes third, push those blue, yellow and red orbs into those pentacles in the right order correctly. Going out of order causes the orbs to regenerate and you'll have to start over again.
• Depending on the strength of your party members, Black Purgatory's route chosen and alongside obtaining specific buffs through rescued APCs or defeated Black Order Followers, most opt to brute force Bloodlust Banya by having Crusader/Enchantress to deploy their  Apocalypse/ Final Judgment,  Crux of Victoria/ Laus di Angelus,  Marionette/ Curtain Call and use your strongest skills upon entry into his boss room.
