Etten (or Eaton), most commonly referred to as the Etten Industrial Zone, is one of the four continental islands of Empyrean, located to the east of Ispin. It provides majority of the electricity to the Ziben Empire, and houses many of the industries owned by the Council of Nobility and research institutes of the Seven Shards. The island's main headquarters, Slaugh Industrial Complex, oversees the production of electricity produced within the Power Station and is managed by Archpriest Commander Petra Noiman. To meet the constant demand of the Ziben populace, the island has been plagued with pollution and currently is unable to sustain agricultural development.

In recent years, the island has been under attack by the colossal, energy-consuming Apostle Anton, who made its home within the Power Station. Due to the creature's ravenous appetite, electricity production to Ispin ceased, allowing the Kartel to launch a full-scale assault on the Imperial Capital.
