Black Crystal Fusion

Black Crystal Fusion is a system introduced in the Season 6 - Act 01: The Ascension Patch that allows players to upgrade their Level 95 Fiend War Super Tayberrs Armor & Prey-Isys Raid's Black Sky Power Accessories/Specials and Level 100 Roschest Legendary Equipment into their Level 100 Equipment equivalents. This system can be only accessed through NPC Administrative Officer Dorothy in Chest Town.

Upgrade Requirements

• Talk to NPC Dorothy, then select the Upgrade Equipment option as this requires the following materials:
  • For Level 95 Fiend War Super Tayberrs Armor & Prey-Isys Raid's Black Sky Power Accessories/Specials:
    • 1,850  Black Crystals ----> (Black Shrine, Basement of Pain, The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection).
    • 50  Aiolites ----> (Black Shrine, Basement of Pain, Stormy Route).
    • 1 or more  Engraving Stones ---->  Wisdom Crystals via Loton Maximug from collecting  Wisdom Crystal Fragments in Guide of Wisdom. (Reinforce/Amplify/Enchant only)
  • For Level 100 Roschest Equipment (weapon excluded):
    • 2,000  Black Crystals ----> (Black Shrine, Basement of Pain, The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection).
    • 100  Aiolites ----> (Black Shrine, Basement of Pain, Stormy Route).
  • For Level 100 Dimension: Roschest Equipment:
    • 1,850  Black Crystals ----> (Black Shrine, Basement of Pain, The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection).
    • 100  Aiolites ----> (Black Shrine, Basement of Pain, Stormy Route).

Cost

If you're planning on upgrading an entire set (i.e. Normalizing Synchro, Elementalist's Accessory) or individual set pieces (Mother Nature), more Black Crystals will be needed to meet those requirements.

• For example, fully upgrading to Normalizing Synchro will require a total of:
  • 5,550  Black Crystals & 150  Aiolites with Second Dark Power Set
  • 6,000  Black Crystals & 300  Aiolites with Encroaching Darkness Set
  • 5,550  Black Crystals & 300  Aiolites with Dimension: Roschest Special Equipment

Notes

• <!> Black Crystal Fusion Upgrades are irreversible once finalized, do make your decisions carefully. <!>
• The Equipment's grade may likely be different depending on the option change slightly, but this doesn't apply towards the highest grade that's 100%.
• During some in-game events, there are Upgrade Recipes given out to lower the Black Crystal cost to 950 for Level 95 Fiend War/Prey-Isys Raid Equipment or 200 for Level 100 Legendary Equipment.
•  Refined Black Crystals that were included in the Equipment Farming Improvement via Watcher in the Rift patch, can be helpful for new and existing players.
• Outside of upgrading through Dorothy and Mythic versions of their respective sets, Black Crystal Fused Equipment cannot be obtained through normal means, such as Guide of Wisdom, Pots or Ditto Epic Boxes.
• Reinforcement/Amplification/Enchantment levels can be transferred over, but they will require more Engraving Stones to keep their values from decreasing, yet reinforcement bonuses cannot be transferred.
• If you're upgrading to Mother Nature's Breath Set, the Super Tayberrs armor that was re-textured will remain the same.
