History
A giant bird hailing from Tayberrs, Slenikon is the brother of Slenikron who was betrayed by Plunderer Rossol when their home was invaded by a mysterious Black Fragment that corrupted many of it's residents as he stole his tail feathers as a result. With the ongoing situation regarding Tayberrs and Isys's resurrection, Slenikon is tasked by Lupsong to pick up the Adventurer on his back through Prey's message.
While fighting off the corrupted inhabitants, Slenikon explains that both Isys and Arketo-Frekses were responsible for bringing Tayberrs into it's current shambled state and those who were unaffected couldn't help Prey due to being weak. After Silvery Harbart's defeat, he brings the Adventurer back to Pandemonium and regroups with Lupsong in the meantime.
Slenikon returns to Pandemonium during Nighttime Skyscraper to assist Adventurers confront Isys and his followers who have taken over the area. He is later seen resting while healing from his injuries with Prey inside Sky Nest following Isys' defeat.
Trivia
- The inspiration behind Slenikon is heavily based on the Middle-Earth Eagles created by J.R.R Tolkien that were known to be immense flying birds that were sapient and could speak.
- In Prey-Isys Raid, he has voice dialogue that remained unused in-game.
