There are two categories of chronicle items: 2nd Chronicle and 3rd Chronicle. 2nd Chronicle gear requires doing the first three Otherverse dungeons: Goblin Kingdom, Castle Nebulous, and Rangelus's Guerrillas. In addition you gain Immunity items from Iris via a quest chain, these are essentially beginner-tier chronicle items. The 3rd Chronicle gear requires running the next three otherverse dungeons: Void Rift, Castle of Bakal. and Dark Side.
