Description

The Oculus, meaning the eye that reflects the world, is a place featured in a legend of the dark elves that tells of a being who was higher than the sky and its clone who was confined in this place. The Grim Seekers have occupied and declared The Oculus their sanctum, calling it the place of resurrection of a great being, and are now performing a secret ritual in there.

Entrance Requirements & Rules

• Reach Level 100.
• Accept and clear the Another Sign Scenario Quest from Oberith first.
• No materials required.
• 30 Fatigue Points.
• Party of 4. (Normal/Abyssal)
• 5,750 Exorcism or higher required.
• Opened on all days and can enter once a day up to three times. (Daily Entry count resets 9:00 UTC)
  • The third entry can be seen as a backup, but cannot offer rewards if the dungeon was ran twice.
• Weekly rewards can only be received twice. (Weekly Reward count resets on Tuesdays)
• Speak with Knight Robato to create a party inside the Oculus channel, once everything is fully prepared, talk to Highmore to start the mission.
•  Life Token limit is 2.
• There is no penalty for retreating the dungeon. When resuming through Highmore, you'll restart at the beginning point of your last floor, and normal monsters respawn.

Time Limit

• You have 20 Minutes in the form of a Ritual Completion gauge that is located beneath the Mini-map status board. The gauge itself will increase slowly by 1% and if it reaches 100%, the mission fails and your entry count is replenished. However, the percentage can be lowered by defeating specific bosses or accessing Nayu's shop if she is freed from defeating Tria Cerebrum.

Unique Effects

• Weaken Barrier: Defeating either Roseberry or Louise results in decreasing the Ritual Gauge by 20% and adds a Damage Intensification effect to the party.

• Chaotic Effect: On either floor, your party's vision is blocked by a "Imposters' Fog" that prevents them from seeing the entire map layout and the monsters that are on the current floor will be strengthened with increased stats. Defeating either or both Blood Ria & Nerolotte weakens the effect which restores vision to make the map traversing easier and removes the buff.

• Volcano Spider -  Life Token count will be increased by 2.
• Tria Cerebrum - NPC Merchant Trainee Nayu is rescued and her shop is accessed on all floors.

Normal Mode (Group)

Released in May 2020, The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection is a special dungeon located in the Abyssal Sky Tower that has now been occupied by the Grim Seekers to carry out their ritual to resurrect Apostle Sirocco. Inside of the Oculus, consists of 4 Basement Floors in total known as "Pilgrim Shelters" with B4 being the "Altar of Truth" where Prophet Ezra dwells. Your main goal is to traverse through this huge dungeon, defeat Ezra and interrupt the ritual.

B1-B3 (Pilgrim Shelters)

• The party will always start off on the upper right corner of each shelter that act as floors consisting of 15 rooms that are filled with normal monsters. Floor bosses such as Roseberry or Louise spawn at B1-B2 and Mini-Bosses like Blood Ria, Nerolotte, etc can randomly spawn on either floor in different positions with Soryun herself always located in B3 that's mandatory to reach B4.
• These bosses are completely optional to defeat or skip entirely. Choosing not to fight Roseberry/Louise heavily effects Soryun's boss fight when entering B3.
• Cooldowns on skills will be reset upon entering another floor.

B4 (Altar of Truth)

• This is where Prophet Ezra's located, defeat Soryun in Pilgrim Shelter B3 first to access the stairs.
• Defeating Ezra will clear The Oculus.

• Gold Flips will yield:
  • 1 Oculus Unique or Legendary Monster Card
  • 100  Grim Seeker's Dark Souls
  • 1 Product of Wisdom Recipe

Dark Soul Converter (Ditto Epic)

• By gathering enough  Grim Seeker's Dark Souls, Robato rewards players with a  Purged Soul Box that allows them to generate or convert a Level 100 Epic Armor/Accessory/Special Equipment of their choosing, otherwise known as a "Ditto Epic".

Requirements & Restrictions

• Accept and complete [Sanctum of Resurrection] Put Them to Rest via The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection.
• 1260  Grim Seeker's Dark Souls.
• Epic Equipment outside of  Purged Soul Box cannot be used.
• 1  Epic Soul & 70  Grim Seeker's Dark Souls are needed to exchange the Ditto Epic into a different item at any time.
• Once you've exchanged, the previous equipment's Reinforced/Amplified/Enchanted effects will disappear and it's quality grade is randomly chosen.
