Quests
Iris's Dissuation
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Siran |
Briefing | Siran: "What are you going to do now? We know who's the mastermind, but she's out of our reach. Oh, yeah? We can go to Pandemonium through Empyrean. But Iris said it wouldn't be easy. I didn't think it would. You're still going, aren't you? Yes. Even I can tell everything you've experienced is pointing in the same direction. The Metastasis that threw this world into chaos. The epidemic that broke out all of a sudden. And the war. All this is because of one entity. And Vaughn... Ah, why did he do that? Was he also under influence of Hilder? He doesn't look different to me, but then the Vaughn I know would've never done what he did. ...Anyway, we'd better head out to Empyrean. to go to Pandemonium. Even if it weren't for Hilder, we would've had to go there sooner or later. Now that we've decided to go there, you should go see Iris again. She said she'll help you, and you need her help now. Okay, have travel safely. Be careful." |
Objectives | Meet Iris. |
Upon Completion | Iris: "Adventurer, you came. You're going to Pandemonium, right? I can't let you do that. I understand you want to go to Pandemonium for the peace of Arad, but it's the Apostles' land. If the Pandemonians find out that you brought down their Apostles... Going there is tough, but being there will be tougher. Worse still, you have to bring down Apostle Anton to open the path to Pandemonium. Apostle Anton is also known as 'The One Who Is as Big as the World.' He's not like any enemy you've seen till now." |

Quest Giver | Iris |
Briefing | Iris: "I see. If you're so determined, I have nothing more to say to stop you. Then it's time you meet the people who can help you. Go up to Empyrean, and some people will call you. Meet them and overcome your destiny with them. Please be safe..." |
Objectives | Go to Empyrean and talk to Marlene Kitzka. |
Upon Completion | Marlene Kitzka: "It's been a while. Her Highness has been looking for you. Please go to the Palace." |

To the Slaugh Industrial Complex
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Erje |
Briefing | Erje: "Long time, no see. How are you? I wanted to see you because I need your help again. Have you heard of Pandemonium? You have, huh? I thought so. All adventurers have. Then do you know about the Apostles? As a matter of fact, there's an Apostle terrorizing this Empyrean even as we speak. His name is Anton. He's the reason the war with the Kartels dragged on so long, and Empyrean is crippled by a shortage of electricity. Now that we eliminated the Kartels, all thanks to you, we've moved on to getting rid of Anton. But we've already lost too many soldiers than we could afford, and our remaining forces are weary from having to fight for a long time. They need help from heroes like you, to pick themselves up and get back to fighting. Could you help? Thank you. Thank you so much. I'm sorry that saying thank-you is the only thing I can do at this moment... Then Adventurer, could you go to Doctor Melvin? His sister is at the Power Station where Anton is. She'll be able to tell you about the situation in there." |
Objectives | Go to Melvin Richter.
|
Upon Completion | :Upon talking to Melvin: Melvin Richter: "So you're going to fight Anton. Our situation? As dangerous as it was when we were surrounded by the Kartels. The Empyrean Royal Army still has its hands full with the remnants of the Kartel, so only its elite units are stationed in the Slaugh Industrial Complex near the Power Station while the rest of the army is defending the Imperial Capital. The forces on that side will be happy to have you with them. You're going to the Power Station, where Anton is, right? then you're going to the Slaugh Industrial Complex, where my sister, Ria, is. She can help you. I'd love to introduce you to her through this portable video comm device, but her reception is not good at this moment. But don't worry. I'll tell her about you before you get there. Go to Beren now, and he'll help you get on the train to the Slaugh Industrial Complex in Etten. Go find my sister when you get there." :Upon talking to Ria: |

Quest Giver | Ria Richter |
Briefing | Ria Richter: "Are you? You're as amazing as I thought! Oops, that wasn't ladylike. I apologize for my behavior. I was too excited to meet the person whom my brother couldn't stop praising. My name is Ria Richter. I'm here to help our forces in any way I can. I've heard you came here to help us. Thank you so much. The commander of the barracks here is General Navarre. Why don't you go get acquainted with him?" |
Objectives | Meet Brigadier General Navarre.
|
Upon Completion | Upon talking to Navarre: Navarre: "Ah! Aren't you the adventurer who saved me in the battle? Comrade, it's so good to see you again! What brings you here? You came to help. Ah, thank you! I'd love you to join our operation immediately. It was that contribution that earned me the Brigadier General title, but I lost Gizel. Hmpf! Anyway, good job saving that little imperial princess. You deserve this Brigadier General title more than I do. Every day I'm battling nothing but unsavory rations. We don't have any cold water. Would you like some tea? Ah, I really wish I had an icy soda to beat the heat." <Player>: "...?" Navarre: "Um...*Ahem* Oh, right! How'd you like to meet Farrel Wane at the Land Runner factory? He's our technical advisor. He'd love to meet you." Upon talking to Farrel Wane: |

Objectives |
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the dungeon: Navarre: "Keep your eyes peeled. Enemies could be lying in wait for us from this point and on. Safety is our priority. We'll retreat the moment things go out of hand. Don't try anything reckless, all right? Let's go in!" |
Upon Completion | Navarre: "I had to have my soldiers retreat because they're tired and demoralized. The Capital Island had better send us some supplies. My soldiers need all the encouragement they can get." |

Enemies in the Kore Power Plant
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Navarre |
Dungeon | Kore Power Plant |
Briefing | Navarre: "Kore Power Plant is guarded by various monsters. We can categorize them into 3 different types. Fire Slimes are armed with flames. Granets absorb external energy. And then, there's the clones of Avenging Pit. To defeat the real Avenging Pit, we first have to get rid of these three types first. Let's start with Fire Slimes." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Navarre: "You exterminated those burning Fire Slimes so easily. Impressive! By the way, Doctor Wane was looking for you. He must be in need of your help." |

---|---|
Quest Giver | Farrel Wane |
Dungeon | Kore Power Plant |
Briefing | Farrel Wane: "Ah yes, there's something I'd like you to do for me. I'm curious about the Granets. They have a blue ball inside them that absorbs external energy. I think I can make powerful batteries with those balls. Would you collect them for me?" |

|
Upon Completion | Farrel Wane: "This is more than enough. Good job collecting so many samples." |

Dangerous Research
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Farrel Wane |
Briefing | Farrel Wane: "Ugh, geez! They're absorbing everything, even my vital force. I need empty batteries to contain them, but I have none. A-ha! Why didn't I think of that earlier? The owner of that mini crane Nessman hoards everything he sees. Go check if he has some usable batteries. Hurry, before Granet's Light Orbs suck me dry." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Upon talking to Mathias: Mathias Nessman: "Come on people, you live only once! Catch things with this crane! Gold or garbage, it all depends on your skill as well as your luck! Yesterday, a soldier caught a Unique gear. Rumor has it that he immediately retired and went back home. Ah, welcome! Trust me, Mathias Nessman, and pull this lever. It moves the crane, so you can catch things with the crane. Simple, huh? Err, not interested? Hmpf, thought I finally got a customer after such a long time. What do you want? Sure, I have a few unused batteries, but I'm not going to give them away for free." Upon bringing Mathias cubes: |

Destroying the First Generator
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Navarre |
Dungeon | Kore Power Plant |
Briefing | Navarre: "Avenging Pit is using the energy generated by the first generator in the Kore Power Plant to maintain his shape. Destroy the generator, and you'll be able to get rid of him. But he wouldn't just watch as you destroy the generator. Please be careful." |
Objectives |
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the boss room: Avenging Pit: "How dare you try to get rid of me? My hellfire will reduce you to ashes." Navarre: "I knew it'd be guarded. But there's an extinguisher near the power generator. See the switch over there? Flip it, and that curtain of fire will be turned off for a short period. To defeat Pit, it's best we destroy the power generators. The longer we take, the less likely we can achieve our goal. Please hurry." Upon destroying the power generator: |
Upon Completion | Navarre: "You made it. Good job." |

Next Power Plant
Level | 82 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Navarre |
Dungeon | Furtz Power Plant |
Briefing | Navarre: "Adventurer. The problem with the Kore Power Plant is resolved, but we don't have time for a break. We have to move on to our next target, Furtz Power Plant-mm?!"
???: *RUMBLE* Navarre: "Wah! Geez, he's been doing it more frequently lately. Ah, it's the noise Anton makes. I don't know why, but he's been making these noises that really disturb my sleep. Some soldiers have even become paranoid of them. He's so big that we can hear all the unpleasant noises he makes, even from this far. You'll just have to get used to them. See Anton beyond the factory over there? He spread his lackeys across this power station. When we learned Anton feeds on electricity, we tried to stop the power station. We haven't succeeded yet because of his lackeys, though. Anton is not moving any farther from there because Empyrean's Commander-in-chief and his soldiers are fighting tooth and nail. We must get rid of Anton's lackeys here and go help them as soon as possible. Ah, I've talked for too long. Adventurer, please meet with Narke of the D.T. Unit in the Furtz Power Plant and clear the enemies from that place. If you keep the enemy busy, he'll clear a path for us." |
Objectives | Meet D.T. Unit Narke in the Furtz Power Plant.
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the dungeon: D.T. Unit Narke: "Are you the adventurer who helped the Empyrean Army? Nice to meet you. There's debris piled up here and there in this Furtz Power Plant, impeding our operations. Our soldiers get wounded while trying to go over the piles of debris, or worse, get killed by enemies because their retreat route is blocked by them. Reciting Samuel who is occupying this power plant has the power of lava at his command. We had to explode the gate in a hurry to stop the flow of his lava, and now it's backfiring on us. I'll get rid of the debris. Could you cover me in the meantime?" Upon clearing the dungeon: |
Upon Completion | Navarre: "You must have made it. Now we can really get moving." |

Magtonium Collection
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Melvin Richter |
Dungeon | Furtz Power Plant |
Briefing | Melvin Richter: "How are things over there? Better, I hope. I was looking for you in a hurry because of a mineral called magtonium. You've been briefed on it, haven't you? You haven't? What are the staff over there doing without telling about such important stuff? Hmpf! Magtonium is a red mineral that appeared at the same time Anton did. You must have seen it here and there in the Power Plant. It may not look it, but it deserves serious study. I know the staff over there need all the magtonium they can find to study it on their own, but I also need some for an urgent project I'm working on. If you go to the Power Plant next time, collect it and send it to me by train."
|
Objectives | Collect Magtonium Samples in the Furtz Power Plant. (Destroy the Magtonium objects inside the dungeon to collect Magtonium Samples.)
|
Upon Completion | Navarre: "You've collected quit a lot of magtonium. We've collected some too." |

Objectives | Deliver Research Purpose Magtoniums to Beren Vonnegut.
|
Upon Completion | Upon talking to Beren Vonnegut: Beren Vonnegut: "Err? When did you come here? I thought I saw someone looking similar to you. It was just you. huh? Hmpf, what is it this time? You want me to send this rock to Ghent. What good is it for? It's not even shining. All right, but the Empyrean Army had better pay me well for this. Hee hee." Upon talking to Navarre: |

Dungeon | Furtz Power Plant |
Briefing | Navarre: "Ah, please don't get me wrong. Of course, the lukewarm soda is an emergency, but we really do have an emergency situation. Some of our members who entered the Furtz Power Plant haven't returned. I sent out a rescue party, but it couldn't break through the enemy's strong resistance. I don't want to lose any more elite soldiers. Could you help me find them?" |

Quest Giver | Navarre |
Dungeon | Furtz Power Plant |
Briefing | Navarre: "Unfortunately, all the missing members were found dead. This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Anton. Let's channel our grief into anger and action and defeat him."
Unstoppable Kon: "I saw an ominous red light shoot up into the sky from the insider of the Power Plant. What is it?" Farrel Wane: "It must be from an energy transmitter. Anton's lackeys are sending the energy produced in the furnace to Anton." Navarre: "We'd better destroy it. Adventurer, please help." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Navarre: "This should weaken Anton's power at least a little bit." |
Rewards |

The Princess's Contact
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Navarre |
Briefing | Navarre: "You brought back the Captain as soon as you found him, but he didn't make it. We've lost yet another comrade. But we don't have time to grieve. We've got only two more power plants to reclaim from Anton's lackeys. At this moment, our sense of loss is greater than the prospect of victory, but we must soldier on until we defeat Anton."
Ria: "Th-this is serious! Her Highness is on the line! Please get to the comm right away!" Navarre: "What's going on? Please go." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Imperial Princess Erje: "How have you been? I was informed you've been busy fighting the monstrous occupants of the Power Station."
Ria: "Yes, Your Highness. I'm fine. How are you? Oh, General Navarre and the Adventurer are here to see you. I'll leave you to talk." Navarre: "Your Highness, the operation is going as smoothly as planned, but we've just lost yet another brave man." Imperial Princess Erje: "I see. I've braced myself for sacrifices, but hearing about them never fails to break my heart. Give him a proper burial." Navarre: "Yes, Your Highness." Imperial Princess Erje: "Adventurer, you look healthy. I feel reassured having you there at the Power Station. Is there anything I can help you with?" |

A Message from Pandemonium
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Imperial Princess Erje |
Briefing | Imperial Princess Erje: "The Imperial Army? For now it's helping us restore Ghent, but soon it'll leave for Etten."
Navarre: "Is the Imperial Army participating in this war with Anton?" Imperial Princess Erje: "Vaughn Walshuted, the commander of the army, is familiar with the Apostles. He said he also has a personal interest in Anton." Navarre: "He's peculiar. Underworld seems to be inhabited by all kinds of people." Imperial Princess Erje: "He wants to help, and that's all that matters to me. Oh, right. Adventurer, you seem to be interested in Pandemonium. Didn't you say we received a message from the people over there?" Ria: "Yes, Your Highness. I will share it with the Adventurer." Imperial Princess Erje: "Good. Then everyone, keep up the good work fighting for peace. The priestesses and I will pray for your safety." Navarre: "Adventurer, we'll go prepare for our next operation. Please come join us after talking to Miss Ria." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Ria: "It was a while ago. I was experiencing strange radio frequency interference, so I looked for a cause. The interfering signals were coming from the Castle of the Dead on the other side of the sea. I decided to analyze their electronic sound. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It wasn't a simple electronic sound-it was a message! Someone called Niu the Chaser in Metro Center was looking for an Apostle who disappeared from Pandemonium. I tried to contact him, but to no avail. It turned out Pandemonium and Empyrean can only communicate through interdimensional rifts. I have no idea how to create them, but the Castle of the Dead appeared a long time ago when Bakal arrived in Empyrean. I can only guess they have something to do with the Castle." |

Next Operation
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Ria Richter |
Briefing | Ria: "Are you planning to go to Pandemonium? Then you'll have to go through the Castle of the Dead. The problem is that sometimes it goes beyond this dimension and becomes unreachable. I don't know what to do in that case. Perhaps Doctor Wane and Melvin might know how to help you, but... Oh yes. Defeating Anton is more urgent than going to Pandemonium. You know what things should take higher priority better than I do. I'm impressed. The General must be waiting for you. You should go. Please know that I'm always praying for your safety." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Navarre: "You came. Doctor Wane will join us for this operation." |
Rewards |
The Missing Engineers
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Farrel Wane |
Briefing | Farrel Wane: "Our engineers entered the Trombe Power Plant. Yes, they're not soldiers, but civilian technicians who oversee the management of the Power Station. Many soldiers on this side have been wounded. The situation on the front line isn't that different. The last thing the engineers said before they left was that they would return Trombe to normal to help us."
Navarre: "We already started searching for them. But some of our soldiers, having lost their comrades in the Furtz Power Plant, are angry that these engineers went on this suicidal mission on their own. To expand this search, I need something that will put them more at ease." Grandine Manager Wonders: "No need. We're responsible for this mess. We'll take care of it. Manager Wieners and Teraster went there for the same reason." Navarre: "Uh-oh." Farrel Wane: "Please, calm down. I know you mean well, but it's only making things worst. Wieners and Teraster went in there together, and they know the Power Plan like the back of their hand. They should be fine. The Trombe Power Plant is occupied by one of our enemies, Shuddering Patris, anyway. We'll have to fight it one way or another." Navarre: "Well, you have a point. But I suggest we "guard" our engineers more securely from now on. Adventurer, you heard us. Please help us find the missing people in the Trombe Power Plant. Here, please take a look at their pictures." |
Objectives |
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the boss room: Power Station General Manager Teraster: "Who are you? A soldier? I told them I didn't need help." |
Upon Completion | Power Station General Manager Teraster: "Thank you for your help. I'm Teraster, executive director of the Power Station. They sent me help, even though I told them not to." |
Rewards |
The Engineers' Purpose
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Farrel Wane |
Briefing | Power Station General Manager Teraster: "I'm sorry, but I can't leave just yet. The Power Station is our biggest energy producer, but I'd rather have it destroyed than have it feed Anton. Don't you agree? The electricity generated in Trombe Power Plant circulates throughout the entire Power Station, and it will continue to feed the enemy until we reclaim the Power Station. ... Yes. At first, I thought I could turn Trombe back to normal, but the situation inside was worse than what the soldiers told me. The Power Station has been my life, and the electricity it's generating is killing our soldiers. I want it destroyed." |
Objectives |
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon starting the stage: Power Station General Manager Teraster: "Are you going to follow me, instead of dragging me out of here? I'm glad we speak the same language. Then let's go destroy this place." Upon entering the boss room: |
Upon Completion | Power Station General Manager Teraster: "Good job. But we're not done yet." |
Rewards | |
Notes | The stage ends after the cast bar above Teraster's head fills, not after the defeat of the boss. |
Stop Trombe Power Plant
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Farrel Wane |
Briefing | Power Station General Manager Teraster: "This Trombe Power Plant generates the largest amount of electricity among all the power plants in the Power Station. Stopping one generator won't make any difference. I'm sure Trombe Power Plant Manager Wieners is also on the move, but there's one more place we have to go to. Why are we moving separately? We've decided it's better to get to Patris. Of course, we're not trained soldiers, but no one knows the Power Station better than we do. We'll fight Anton in the way only we can." |
Objectives |
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the boss room: Power Station General Manager Teraster: "Wieners, you're here! I'm glad you're safe!" Trombe Manager Wieners: "Teraster! You're safe! Now all we have to do is turn off the power generator in this room." Power Station General Manager Teraster: "Hear that? We're so close to winning. Let's do this." |
Upon Completion | Power Station General Manager Teraster: "We made it. What about Manager Wieners?"
Trombe Manager Wieners: "So did he. I'm sad, but proud at the same time." Power Station General Manager Teraster: "I am, too. Now, let's go back." |
Rewards | |
Notes | The stage ends after the cast bar above Teraster and Wieners's head fills, not after the defeat of the boss. |
Converted Electricity
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Navarre |
Briefing | Navarre: "Adventurer, you've saved both of them. Thank the gods, you're okay."
Farrel Wane: "You're back! Are both of them safe? That's a relief. We need them to restore the [Power Station]. Adventurer, we owe you one." Navarre: "I'm glad too, but I hope this would never happen again. Anyawy, now that we stopped the Trombe Power Plant, it's time we carry out our next operation. You said eliminating Patris might complicate things." Farrel Wane: "Yes. Patris and his clones are made of electricity. They cut the wires here and there in the Trombe Power Plant to feed on electricity. It seems they converted the absorbed electricity into a different kind inside their bodies and then released it throughout the Power Plant. Even though the Power Plant is stopped, the electricity that they've generated remains. You'd better move in carefully." Navarre: "Then if we collect a sample of this converted electricity, can you analyze it?" Farrel Wane: "That won't be difficult." Navarre: "Got it. Then we'll collect their electricity crackling inside the Trombe Power Plant." |
Objectives |
|
Upon Completion | Farrel Wane: "You brought them. Now, get some rest while I analyze them." |
Rewards |
Shuddering Patris
Level | 81 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Farrel Wane |
Briefing | Farrel Wane: "Hm, this is interesting. Hm...
Navarre: "Both of you came. Is everything ready?" Farrel Wane: "Patris has created enough electricity to blow up the entire power plant. So we've created a device to attract and absorb the electricity. We can set them up here and there." Navarre: "Good. We'll set up the device. Adventurer, please go take care of Patris." |
Objectives |
|
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the boss room: Shuddering Patris: "Not enough electricity. How pathetic! You can destroy this place, but that's not going to destroy me!" Upon defeating the boss: |
Upon Completion | Farrel Wane: "You defeated Shuddering Patris. Outstanding! It was highly unlikely at that time, but the engineers' plan to destroy the Trombe Power Plant worked." |
Rewards |
