Quest Giver | Aganzo |
Briefing | Aganzo: "Adventurer, I'm still thankful for your help with Skasa. I was relieved to hear that you're helping us with this. The problem with the Bantus was resolved, thanks to you, but what that and everything else--the conflict with the dark elves and the epidemic--the Principality is unstable. And that's why Vaughn has returned. The Principality isn't exactly friendly with the Empire, but it doesn't have many allies to ask for help in a situation like this."
Siran: "The Instability of the Principality is also the reason I'm here. I couldn't ignore so many unsettling events that are taking place around the country." Aganzo: "Vaughn, you know about the epidemic in the Principality better than anyone else." Vaughn Walshuted: "It's spread from North Myre, causing a lot of people to evacuate from their homes. Some of them became theives and have drifted to the border between the Principality and the Empire." Siran: "This is bad. Why do things keep getting worse? I thought everything would be okay once we got rid of Sirocco." Vaughn Walshuted: "I know. A lot of people died because of her. All the famous swordsmen and mages in Arad gathered to fight her, and only the four of us were left by the time we reached Sirocco." Aganzo: "There was one more." Vaughn Walshuted: "Huh? Who are you talking about?" Siran: "There was one more?" Aganzo: "I don't remember his name, but now's not the time to reminisce about the old days. Vaughn, I've heard this epidemic has strange symptoms. Does it really turn its victims into monsters?" Vaughn Walshuted: "Yes. It's similar to the one that plagued the dark elves. Some of the thieves from that place even look like monsters." <Player>: "..." Karakas: "Hey, Aganzo. I didn't know you were still here." Aganzo: "What's up?" Karakas: "A strange-looking Magatha has crashed onto West Coast. The pilot was a woman, and she said she's from Empyrean." If player is from Empyrean
|
Objectives | Go to the West Coast port and meet the woman from Empyrean, Marlene Kitzka. |
Upon Completion | Marlene Kitzka: "Hello. My name is Marlene Kitzka, and I'm the Empyrean Princess's chief handmaiden. I came down to Arad to ask for help."
Canna: "Wow, you're very tall. As tall as Kiri. I wonder if she really is from Empyrean..." Abello: "IS something new about to happen? Things have been gloomy lately. This might make a good song." If player is an Agent
If player is a Gunner
Marlene Kitzka: "It's suffering from a civil war, and on top of that, it's being threatened by a giant monster called Anton. It's in its greatest peril since Bakal. I came here because my country's culture, history, and even future is being threatened, and it needs help." Siran: "Things are as bad in Empyrean as they are in Arad. It's a shame that the two worlds are reconnected after a long time, but not for a happy reason." Vaughn Walshuted: "Empyrean. This reminds me of the Sky Tower. I failed then, but I'm given another chance to go to Empyrean." Robato: "I see. Please follow me and explain your situation to Her Majesty." Marlene Kitzka: "I'd love to. Please take me to her." Level | 46 |

Quest Giver | Azalea Lott |
Dungeon | Reshpon, Village of Pain |
Briefing | Azalea: "Both of you are safe."
Michelle: "I can't say the same thing for you. You've got only a few people with you. Did the others catch the epidemic? Or were they killed by its victims? Delezie did this to you. Do you still want to save the Apostle for the world? How do you feel after losing your members to him?" Grim Seeker Follower: "..." Azalea: "We knew how powerful he was, but knowing it and experiencing it are two different things. So we've decided. If Delezie won't leave this land, then we'll help you defeat him." Grim Seeker Follower: "Azalea!" Azalea: "We exist to save this world. We'll stop the Apostles if they're what's destroying this world." Grim Seeker Follower: "..." Michelle: "Good. If you want to persuade him, then you get in first. I can wait." |
Objectives | Enter Reshpon, the Village of Pain, where Delezie is. |
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the dungeon:
Michelle: "It's been a while since they left beforeus, and they haven't returned. Let's go slowly." Upon entering Room D1: Michelle: "I don't think we can stop them by fighting them. We'll have to burn them." Upon entering Room C1: Sorcerer Nazalo: "I'll feed you to my Gakles!" Upon entering Room B1: The Mad Piper: "You came this far." Michelle: "Mad Piper!" The Mad Piper: "I won't let you interfere with Delezie!" Upon defeating the Mad Piper: The Mad Piper: "Khhkk... I'll be back...!" Upon entering the Boss Room: Michelle: "You..." Grim Seeker Follower: "Azalea said Delezie must not be left alone. But a small sacrifice is inevitable. We'll protect the Apostle!" Michelle: "You're a fool." Upon defeating the Boss: Grim Seeker Follower: "I don't... regret... fighting for... our cause..." |
Upon Completion | Michelle: "His determination borders on obsession. He's seeing this, and still wouldn't change his mind. He's a fanatic. Err..."

Confront Apostle Delezie
Level | 46 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Azalea Lott |
Dungeon | Reshpon, Village of Pain |
Briefing | Azalea: "I'm sorry. He stormed out angry when I said Delezie couldn't be reasoned with. I can't believe he attacked you. This is my fault."
Michelle: "Forget it. By the way, you said you'd help us defeat Delezie. How are you going to help us? He's strong enough to raze this entire area to the ground by himself." Azalea: "I said I'd help, but I can't fight him. Instead, I'll cast you magic that will protect you against his diseases. Michelle, your barrier is powerful, but not powerful enough to resist Deleze alone. You and I must join forces to beat the noxious energy released from his body." Michelle: "All right, anything you can do to help. Let me double-check before we take off. I'm getting rid of Delezie, no matter what. You'd better not get in my way." Azalea: "Don't worry." Michelle: "...Adventurer, let's go." |
Objectives | Defeat Delezie in Reshpon, the Village of Pain. |
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering Room C1:
The Mad Piper: "I will stop you even if it kills me! Ah? This abomination! Arrrggghhh!" Michelle: "But they're on the same side." Scarver: "My wounds are still throbbing and stinging. Will eating you help?" Upon clearing Room C1: Michelle: "Even if Delezie died, he would've continued to spread the Epidemic in his name. I'm glad we defeated him now." Upon entering Room B1: Duke of Imprisonment Agonis: "Yes, yes... I knew this was coming." Michelle: "Are you also a puppet of Delezie?" Duke of Imprisonment Agonis: "One time, Hilder came to me and offered this proposal. Between him and me, whoever beat the other would become an Apostle. I couldn't beat him. I was utterly defeated. At first, I submitted to him to bide my time... But look at the despair that's flooding this land. Delezie is the true Apostle!" Upon clearing Room B1: Duke of Imprisonment Agonis: "My death... Is this also part of the history she mentioned? I'm disappointed that I can no longer protect Delezie..." Michelle: "He was fiercely loyal to him. But how could he? Many innocent people died because of him. This is why the Apostles are monsters." Upon entering the Boss Room: Upon defeating Delezie, Plagued Apostle: Delezie, Plagued Apostle: "Khhkk... Khhkkk... My poison will melt everyone in your family, even those who are yet to be born." Azalea: "Ah... Delezie..." |
Upon Completion | Michelle: "Is he dead? He is, isn't he?
Azalea: "He's not moving." Michelle: "Finally North Myre is free from the grasp of the Epidemic. Thank the gods. Adventurer, good job. We couldn't have defeated this monster if it weren't for you. The tragedy is over." Azalea: "I'd better go deliver this news to the others. Adventurer, I'll see you again." Michelle: "Adventurer, are you going back to Hendon Myre now? You can tell others about your adventure, but I hope you will try not to mention me. They don't need to know any Cyphers are here. I hope we'll meet again. Goodbye." |

Unending Foreboding
Level | 46 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Iris |
Dungeon | Reshpon, Village of Pain |
Briefing | Iris: "Adventurer, are you on your way back from an adventure? You look tired. You must have fought formidable enemies. Adventurer, I know a black tornado swept a village in North Myre. The trace amount of ominous energy on you is from that. You met Apostle Delezie, didn't you? Don't be surprised. I'm just doing what I can do for the future of Arad. Anyway, Adventurer. You shouldn't be here right now. North Myre's epidemic has not yet been contained. You thought you defeated Delezie, but he's not dead. Delezie can never... Filled with all the filth in the multiverse, he cannot be killed with an ordinary method. Look. The heavy, skin-melting energy of the epidemic is still rolling in from where you came from. Adventurer, I know you're exhausted, but you're the only one who can move at this moment. Please go back to where you fought Delezie. He'll help you afterward." |
Objectives | Take a tour around Reshpon, Village of Pain. Can not be completed in party mode. |
Dungeon Dialogue | Upon entering the first dungeon:
Upon entering the next room: Upon arriving in the second dungeon: If Player is a Priest
Upon entering the Iced Wall of Resignation town: Upon defeating Aganzo: Aganzo: "Stay away. This person came out of the Nightmare." Michelle the Telekinetic: "Huh? But..." <Player>: "...Michelle?" Michelle: (What's wrong? What's going on?) Michelle the Telekinetic: "Do you know me?" Michelle: (Hey, can you hear me? Oh, the interference from this spiritual residue... ...! ... ...!) <Player>: "What the..." Michelle the Telekinetic: "Aganzo, please stop. I don't think that person wants to fight." Aganzo: "...Okay." |
Upon Completion | Michelle the Telekinetic: "Where did you come from? How do you know me?"
<Player>: "..." Michelle the Telekinetic: "You're confused. Please calm down and tell us what happened. ... I see. After you fought the Apostle, suddenly a rift formed in the air, sucking you in. That means you came from another dimension." Zanbato Aganzo: "The Apostle must have released powerful energy, temporarily connecting that dimension to ours, as he got away. The Metastasis." Michelle the Telekinetic: "This could mean what's happening in our dimension is affecting other dimensions as well." Zanbato Aganzo: "You'd better go back to where yo came from. Currently, this world id experiencing a strange phenomenon called the Great Metastasis, which has caused various strange effects. One of them is the Black Nightmare. Haven't you noticed something strange as you traveled across the dimensions?" <Player>: "I saw black smoke coming out of the opening in the air." Michelle the Telekinetic: "So you saw the Black Nightmare leaking through an interdimensional rift. Oh no, it's affecting other dimensions now. I can open a rift for you temporarily. You must go back to your original world and warn others of the Black Nightmare, or--" Zanbato Aganzo: "Michelle, we're running out of time. Hurry." Michelle the Telekinetic: "Okay, Aganzo." |
