History
성스러운 5인과 함께 위장자를 도륙했다는 '지옥불 사자'라 불리던 영웅, 라미에르 레드메인을 말하는가 보군. It seems to be referring to Lamiere Redmayne, the hero called 'The Hellfire Herald', who slaughtered Impostors alongside the Holy Five.

During the Black Crusade, Lamiere Redmayne was renown for slaying countless Impostors and for the innovation of her unique torch-style of combat used by modern day Inquisitors. On the battlefield, she set her surroundings ablaze, wielding a torch in one hand while freely holding a Battle Axe in the other. She struck the fear of God into her enemies while setting them ablaze with sacred fire.
During the final confrontation in Dark Side, news arrived that the Brothers in the valley of Eltfel had been cut off due to an Impostor siege. However, the Priest forces could not risk sparing additional troops and time to rescue them lest they weaken their frontline and risk increasing casualties and prolong the war. Without saying a proper farewell, Lamiere took it upon herself to rescue the Brothers of Eltfel much to Milan Rosenbach's chagrin.
Unfortunately, by the time she had arrived in Eltfel, the Priests she had intended to save had already transformed into Impostors. Surrounded by countless Impostors and with no reinforcements in sight, Lamiere remained determined and fended off wave after wave of Impostors. Mustering the last of her strength, she recited a prayer which engulfed herself, the surrounding Impostors, and the entire valley of Eltfel in flame. In her final moments, she thinks of Milan before losing consciousness.
In the aftermath of the battle, Lamiere perished in the flames along with hundreds of Impostors. Her Battle Axe can still be found in the valley of Eltfel, which has been consumed by an eternal flame.
As an Enemy
Lamiere makes her debut as a Named Monster at the Vericollis dungeon.
Trivia
- Lamiere Redmayne has an Ozma Raid Epic Set named after her called Holy Fire: Redmayne's Set.
- It is revealed in the Side Story, Those Who Step Foot Onto Hell, that Milan Rosenbach had some kind of personal relationship with Lamiere.
- The name "Lamiere" is a Italian plural for "lamiera" which means "Sheet Metal", or it could be a play on "Lumiere", which is French for "Light" considering that her descendant shares a similar naming motif.
- On her DFU entry, her transliterated English name is 'Remielle of Holy Flame', which may have been inspired by the name 'Remiel', who is an archangel in Jewish literature.
